    The fact that all of them seem to be licensed games makes it a great cart. I bought a couple of multicarts with 400 games and half of them were crappy homebrews.

    when we were kids, there was a knock off famicom brand called NAZA and it had the same games as a famicom but on an nes like cat but it looked cheap and didn't come in boxes, usually $20 a cart , but then one day we found out , and it was a brand new thing, the multi games cart, 252 games on 1 cart, but when we got it, we found out all the games are repeated and are some of the most basic nintendo games, we returned the cart and my dad was angry , but then we found out a secret, the less games on a cart, the better, so we took home a 16 in 1 and an 8 in 1 , and those 2 carts kept me happy for years, with likes of castlevania , mega man , life force , rygar , double drible , top gun , ghouls and ghosts....it was the best bargain for a kid , having 24 brand new games at the time for what is basically the normal price of 2 new games....i was over the moon then.

    I got this cartridge afew days ago and they all work perfect like the original including Zelda 1 no lag so far with the exception of "Paperboy" which does not work at all and is stick in demo mode and "Skate or die" which b button does not work so you cant jump. Ive gone thru about 85% of the games so far, I'm very happy with it.

    Just got one of these. It's pretty neat, but I have a caveat for people that nay be interested: Check the games list. Not because there's a bunch of terrible hacks like some multi-carts (they actually all seem to be pretty "legit" ROMs aside from a couple notable translations and an occasional hack), but because you might find yourself surprised at what *isn't* included in the list. In my findings: No Little Samson, Panic Restaurant, Powerblade, Shatterhand, Flintstones 1 or 2, Jetsons Coggswell's Caper, Rock'n'Kats, Castlevania III, and a few others that escape me at the moment. For whatever reason, you *do* get Miracle Piano Teaching System, Dance Aerobics for the power pad, all 4 Fisher Price games, and a few others I all but guarantee you will not ever play. It's a very cool cart, I'll admit, but it definitely is *not* the "Everdrive alternative" I was hoping it would be (by which I mean throw it in the console and my cart swapping days are over). I can't really knock the manufacturer, though, I had the games list right in front of me and just kind of bought it anyway without running a personal checklist, but do yourself a favor and double check that list before you buy.

      I know I'm a year late, but about a year ago, I bought a few multicarts on aliexpress that had some of those games on them, specifically Powerblade, Shatterhand, and Rock'n Kats. Granted, they're Famicom carts and not NES, they have problems with certain games (the sound in Mega Man 2 is messed up), and they include a lot of crappy Chinese games, but they seem to be upping their game a bit. I'm shocked anyone would include Miracle Piano and Dance Aerobics on those lol

    When I was kid (late 90s early 00s) there were famiclones and snes clones all over euroasia like micro genius, Pegasus, game star etc and they were cheap af. those cartridges were the only way to play usa versions of games (European-pal region didn't have every nes or snes games) or savable games like zelda. Of course they were very expensive and rare. Even those carts were expensive than n64+gbc+virtual boy bundle.

    Is there a Famicom version of this cart? I've started collecting Japanese carts because they are MUCH cheaper. I'm glad you showed a few games that don't get a lot of play time on RUclips. With 800 games on a cartridge, I would say 70% of them aren't worth playing...that might be generous.

    There's a good 239 in 1 multicart that has a potent collection of USA games and save in every game. I don't know how it works without a battery, but it even remembers your place in the menu after removing the game from the console. Zelda doesn't have the common left and right screen glitch and I haven't seen any glitches yet. I have a growing list of games it's missing, but it has a few that this one is missing. Why can't anyone just make a multicart with everything? How do they not have everything covered with 852 games?

    Yes some games are all mixed up with other japanese games like for example mario brothers games 10 through 14. I think these are trials from games in Japan. I have feeling since Mario brothers were popular nintendo the other asian countries were trying to make their Mario brothers. If you watch the documentaries about nintendo and sega. The Nintendo of America and Japan were having issues coming out with Mario brothers . I can't remember if it was Nintendo of America or Nintendo of Japan made Mario brothers 3. Its fun playing these old games but over period of time it gets boring. Super Mario brothers is much more fun.

    I heard the multi-game cartridge puts a strain on the NES system due to the voltage used. Is this true?

    • @hjalmarjohnson5846
      @hjalmarjohnson5846 3 года назад +1

      This was a possible issue with multicarts and early version everdrives. There's often a voltage mismatch between the in-cartridge PCB and the internals of the system itself (I believe it was 5v/3.5v). What this does is create a situation where there is excess voltage that needs to essentially be released as "heat energy". This can cause a buildup of heat in the connection between the pcb and your 72 pin connector, theoretically causing "excess wear". I haven't noticed too much heat building up in mine, so they may be using an appropriately volted board, or I just haven't put in the hours necessary to generate a noticeable enough volume of heat. Incidentally, a number of people are of the opinion that the risk to the system is a little overstated, and I tend to agree. I run everdrives and multicarts in my SMS, NES, Genesis, and N64. All of which have been having zero related issues after multiple *years* of service (the 64 in particular has been running an old model everdrive for about 3 years now). Many other cart and drive users have made the same anecdotal claims, as well. I might not use one if the systems on its last legs, but typically you should be good to go.
