Some people charge for this level of explanation. As an experienced builder myself, I can confirm you went above and beyond. Build is beautiful, I have the black version of most of your components myself.
This is such a detailed and step by step video for building a PC, Its even better then the top channels ( LTT, jay two cents)! The top channels don't film everything or sometimes complete a process off screen but you literally showed everything and for that I commend you man. 15k subs is criminal. The music is in the background was good touch btw and it wasn't too loud or too low.
What a video! You weren't lying when you said it was going to be a long one! Man I love pc builds with the white on white aesthetic with the blue lighting!
It took a really long time to edit as well 😅 I’ll probably start making shorter build videos ! I was excited to finally have an all white build, my previous white H9 elite I had to use a ROG Crosshair because it was one of the only ones that had USB-C DP 40, thankfully X870 is now standard 🔥
congrats on securing a 9800x3D 🔥 where did you get it from ? And I also got to order 1 and should be here by Thursday which will go with my black H9 build 😏
@FIREWOLFTECH I actually got it off newegg. I was constantly checking if it restock and got lucky. Also, I was contemplating getting a contact frame although most people say you don't need it for am5 but it seems like it's worth it for not having thermal paste going in the grooves of the cpu.
@sonofgodraj LUCKY ! I was able to get it through B&H, but Newegg sold out the moment 9am hit 🙄 so did Best Buy and Amazon 😅 I do recommend the AM5 bracket as well 🔥
Excellent tutorial bro. You explained everything perfectly. Im in the process of my first build, and this video is helping me a lot. I have a question about the push pull. Would you be able to use the fans that came with the Kraken AIO to create the push pull setup? Cheers bro.
Thanks bro !! Really appreciate your comment. As for the push pull, it’s best to use the same fans to match RPM, Static Pressure, and air volume. It’s probably fine and ok to use different fans, it’ll be harder to connect, but then again, I think the extra connector that I zip tied away from the kraken AIO breakout should connect straight to NZXT Cam software so you can adjust the fan speeds to closely match the other fans.
I see you went with L connect 3 to control cpu cooler fans and the pump with nzxt cam software. Does L connect 3 recognize 3 cooler fans as cpu fans or case fans ? Can you do a cpu fan curve in L connect 3 for the 3 AIO cooler fans like on nzxt cam or are you running them as case fans ? Tanks
L connect 3 lets you adjust each set of fans with custom cpu fan curves. You can also name each set of fans to w.e you like (i.e Bottom, AIO, Rear) and each of them can all use the same fan curves or different ones. And yes the pump I would control on NZXT Cam. I leave it at performance
I am waiting on Mobo/CPU Cooler/GPU, probably buying a used 3080 for now and a 5080/90 early next year. Waiting for ASROCK Nova to come back in stock. Stuck on my CPU Cooler. Having to replace fans and not get the LL Galahad is tough but the NZXT Coolers look so much better.
That’s a great combo and smart to wait for 50-series. Hopefully 3080’s are super cheap (just keep in mind 30-series uses 8-pin power connectors in case you want to use strimmer you need the 8-pin version) As for the CPU cooler, trust me I know, it sucks to spend extra to swap fans, like why can’t they just sell me the radiator 😅 But NZXT coolers look better with the circular design 🔥
The kraken elite 2024 in my opinion, is the best looking circular pump with a large screen and great customization. I was glad it fit by less than a millimeter 😅 The biggest downside is the price, so I only recommend it if you have the extra budget and prefer the aesthetics. Keep in mind also that the vision chrome is the original Vision which doesn’t have the AIO Grommet like the vision compact has. I think the lian li hydro shift would hide the tubes better on the Vision Chrome
@ I dont really mind the tubes being at the front just that I didn’t know what aio to go with I mainly wanted one with a lcd screen and the I’ve checked reviews about the hydroshift a lot of users complain about a rattling sound I’ll be pairing the aio with the 9800X3D cpu that came out and switching the fans on the aio for Lian li wireless fans whenever they come back in stock I’m just having a hard time deciding what aio to use 🥲
A lot of brands use the same company to make their pumps (ASETEK) and they usually perform similar, so in my opinion, it would come down to aesthetics, features, and price. I’ve been satisfied with 2023 Kraken Elite, so this new one (2024) is improved with an awesome screen 🔥
lol I know you won’t be able to see the am5 bracket after you install the AIO liquid cooler but something about an all white board and just a random bright red bracket made me laugh 😂, and nice build as well !
9950x has good gaming performance, but the 9800x3D is even better at gaming. I think the GPU choice will also be a huge factor. I recommend looking at benchmarks for the 9950x and 9800x3D since there are many. The 9950x is great when you add in productivity like video editing and lots of workflow so it really depends on what you need it for. Of course we can wait for the x3D version of the 9950X which would be a great balance between work and play, but we’ll have to see when they drop 🔥
bro i just want to ask is vertical gpu mount is possible i can sacrifice one rear fans you did tell in the video but just want to know can we do it even if its bit tough ? i already bought the cooler master vertical gpu mount , yes i am not going for the lcd aio so will it be alright ?
It’s possible, but a super tight fit that I attempted, but decided not to proceed since it would limit airflow and block some of the huge LCD screen. It’s in the GPU mount section where I briefly covered it
Yup you can use any GPU, just keep in mind AMD GPUs still use PCIe 8-pin connectors, so if you want to use strimmer cablles, you’ll need the 8-pin adapter. Check to see how many 8-pin that GPU uses
@@FIREWOLFTECH alright.. im coming from ryzen 5 3600x and rx 580. Really looking forward to building my second pc... Planning to buy rx 7900 xtx next month so i can upgrade to am5 later on. You think its a good choice for me? (i dont wanna stay at am4 anymore, if i buy a new cpu it would be 9800x3d thats why i want to buy rx 7900 xtx right now). thank you
Going to a 9800x3D and 7900 xtx is a crazy jump 🔥 I like it ! I would recommend going to AM5 since AMD will be supporting it at least until 2027 and that combo should give you solid years of great gaming performance
Adding up all the components is about $5200-$5500 😅 $6K+ if you try to buy a ROG STRIX 4090 White since they are selling it for a lot higher than base msrp. The 9950X ($650) and 4090 ($2200) is almost $3K alone, but if you swap the GPU you can save more more than $1000 if you went for a 4080 super or even more if you go for lower tier GPU and lower tier CPU. I think a good $3-3.5K gets you a solid 4K PC $2-2.5K for a 1440P PC Of course everything depends on the components and sales/discounts you might find
~5.2-5.5K You can swap components to better fit your budget. CPU and GPU alone is about $3K; but going for a $300 CPU and $700 for a GPU for example would be a lot less
I usually do not leave comments, but your video definitely deserves one. After 30 plus years of console gaming, I've decided to plunge into the world of pc gaming with my first pc build. I had decided on this case, fans, and strimers, but there weren't many tutorials this detailed. Salute to you, sir, for making this vid! I didn't mind it being long at all, and I will definitely use this as a reference for my build. 🫡
I appreciate the comment ! I grew up with memories of the Nintendo NES / SEGA Genesis era and played console leading up to the launch of PS5 when I decided to dive in PC Gaming. It was very intimidating and I remember my first build being an exciting experience but also challenging. I’m glad you found this tutorial helpful and hope you complete your build soon 🔥
You’re too amature man while you change the cpu bracket put processor in it bcoz the pins of cpu is safe by chance your screw slip and touches the pins and done 🤦♂️🤦♂️
I know you can change the cpu bracket with the CPU in…but I wanted to show both installation methods. If you were going to install the CPU with the AM5 bracket, it wouldn’t make sense to open up the original bracket and place the CPU in, you would just remove it first completely and then drop your CPU in. But I think it doesn’t matter anyway how you do it, just the most important part is to have your cpu in before the bracket goes in EDIT : On the topic of potentially touching the pins; removing the original CPU bracket first will already have the cover on so there’s no chance of messing it up. Maybe I should’ve put back the cover, but I’ll keep that in mind the next time I
