40:05 i will say, you never want the pump below the aio, it will severely age it and could even kill it, you always want the pump/tubes to be above the aio, other than that everything is incredibly smooth and to the point, incredible job
As long as the connectors for the Radiator are above the CPU block (which usually houses the pump) you are perfectly fine. You just never want the PUMP (which again, is the CPU block) to be above the tubes. AIO stands for "All in One" and is the name for the whole cooling system.
@@P84y Not exactly. You said you never want te pump below the AIO. You probably meant to say radiator instead of AIO. Besides that Jamesmartin said that you want to have the radiator above the CPU block. That is the opposite of what you said.
@@boukeelsinghorst4848 Tubes should always be above the block... that's the easiest way to remember. You want the pump to push everything through and not over work
You want the pump below the intake/outtake of the radiator to prevent air from getting trapped in the pump which causes pumps to fail quicker. Most pumps are located in the cpu cooler, but some manufacturers have gone their own way from Asetek (who owns the patent) and either move the pump into the radiator or it's inline in the lines. Enermax used to have the pump inline roughly around the inlet/outlet of the radiator. I actually am replacing my Enermax AOI because the pump stopped working. This is the only issue I have with the NZXT AIO, lack of knowing if the pump is working. It would be cool if they had a setting that showed the pump flowing in the screen (maybe they do and no one has said anything about it), but the Enermax had a wheel in the cooler window that spun when the pump was on. It's why I saw yesterday that it had stopped yet the PC was running without the pump. Had my heart pumping really hard since I saw that after playing Stalker 2 for 5 hours.

The main difference for me was I didn't use the Strimmer cables which vastly simplified the cable management; I no longer needed the Internal USB Hub since I only had two USB 2.0 devices at that point, the Kraken and the Lian Li fan controller.
I'm glad this video helped you out ! Yes without strimmer the cable management is easier and requires 1 less SATA power and USB 2.0 connectors. If you ever wanted to add something additional that requires usb 2.0, you can always get a splitter as well.

@@FIREWOLFTECH Shouldn’t the air from the 3 fans of the AIO NZXT come out of the PC because it expels hot air from the water heated by the CPU instead of bringing in air that will warm up in contact with the water heated by the CPU?
The title should be "gamer teaches you how to build a pc in only your left ear ASMR" jokes aside this was the video i was missing, im literally using 99% of the pieces in this video for my own build minus the turbo expensive brand you picked for the gpu (jealous asf). One of the biggest problems I was having was the power supply, because I needed a specific type of cable for the 4070 super I picked and that little tidbit at 4:40 saved a ton of headache (finding one that is not daisy-chained and doesn't share the same power cable to other parts of the build).
Hello sir i can clearly see mirror on all the fans … for this is it necessary to have reversible fans and where did you installed those 6 reversible fans
@@FIREWOLFTECHi was doing more research and i found out that reverse blade set is not available, you have to buy it individually and you will get controller with the pack only that of normal fans blade
i love your build and will build myself a similar build in a few weeks with the amd 9800x3d and the RTX 5090. would you suggest some changes now? for example there are new lian li wireless fans, but sadly not the infinity ones so i think i stick with your partlist for now. thanks a lot.
what settings are your fans on for the RGB? i tried to make mine look like yours at 1:18:00 but none of my fan setting in the Lconnect software look like that
The problem with two sticks of RAM vs four is that the more sticks of RAM you use, the more likely you introduce some level of instability, due to any inherent differences in performance between the sticks of RAM. This is something that can occur even when they're all the same kind of RAM. Even for RAM sticks that were manufactured in the same batch, tiny inconsistencies in their manufacture will still occur. When you buy paired RAM, those two sticks of RAM may not have been manufactured together, but (at least if bought from a reputable manufacturer) should have been tested to be compatible. You can also buy RAM in quads, but it usually will cost more because of the extra effort involved in making sure they're compatible. Unless you're doing commercial level 3D rendering or 4k/8k video editing on your computer, having more than 32GB of RAM isn't really necessary anyway, so just find a nice 2×16GB package from a reputable brand and you should be fine. And don't forget to put them in the right slots. For most motherboards with four slots, that's slots #2 and #4 (counting out from the CPU socket), but check your motherboard manual to be sure. Not doing so will result in anything from the computer not booting up to just not running as at fast a RAM speed as is supported.
This video was a huge help in building my PC. I was hoping to get your insight on something however. I mounted my AIO similarly, and have been hearing bubbly noises occasionally at the top of the radiator. Is that something that you have also experienced? Do you know if anything can be done about that? Thanks!
Hey fire wolf. Im building in a Nzxt H9 Elite and am also using lian li fans but my 120 TL led fan wont properly fit in the rear of the case no matter what i do. Any way you can help?

this is super late, but i've planning on doing an extremely similar build to this one, and i just saw this video for the first time last night. you just boosted my confidence in it, and taught me that the 40 series cards only have 1 pcie port so i need a psu that has the gpu port. anyway, after watching the video, i looked at my pcpartpicker list and i wanna know if the rgb version of the kraken elite necessary if i'm just gonna swap the fans out for the lian li fans? just curios. the non rgb is version is like 10 bucks cheaper on amazon and i wouldn't mind saving whatever money i can on this very expensive build haha

About to start my first build with this case. I sat here and shopped for hours and only reason I went with all nzxt fans is because of availability. I wasn’t willing to wait until a week or 2! Plus the nzxt controller in this build seems like a plus if that’s the route I’m going./?
I've bought an 360mm Aio Galahd that comes with 3 of theses fans. Now I want to get theses reverse blades but I've heard that they don't come with this cables you showed. Only the triple pack with the regular ones comes with four proprietary cables, the reverse opnes comes with only one normal adressable fan cable. Can you confirm that?
With the h9 elite case i got many screw packets There is one which says standoff screw Sir is this one is extra provided by the company or am i meant to use it Today only i got to know these are essential to avoid short circuit contact with case
@@FIREWOLFTECH So I build my Pc now and it runs everything is on but my watercooler doesnt have rgb and from my arctic p12 coolers only 1 of 3 ist with rgb. Also my Pc doesnt Connect with the monitor it says no signal on hdmi and i connected it on the gpu do you know the reasons for this?
Sir since you are using one lianli controller to control all fans power and rgb so one connection from psu(sata) is enough to run these fans with power and light? Nzxt claim its controller can handle 9 fans through splitter so same goes for nzxt one controller and one psu (sata connection ) for power?
lian li's software has a passthrough function for the motherboard rgb. you can still plug in the 3 pin; but use the motherboard unless you want to. it lets you switch between them.
@@holdenaguillard7565 Depends what hardware you use. Typically the motherboard RGB software can sync with most things, if not a universal controller like thermaltake's controller can be used to sync RGB. Otherwise you can use 3rd party software like Signal RGB to sync things up... its messy, it's based on tons of hardware variables... the simplest solution is to either use all the same brand, or just skip the RGB altogether...
I love the build but I have a question if possible would you be able to make a video on how to set everything in bios, like downloading windows, and updating your motherboard, what the ram should be at? I like how you made it easy to build a pc but I struggle a lot in bios and never know where to start and how to active window after I get the windows key, and the water mark? If possible but I love the build can’t wait to see more builds in the future, keep up the work man. I loved it also thank you for showing step by step it helped out a lot
I would’ve done a video like that if I hadn’t re used a motherboard and SSD that already had windows downloaded 🥺 when I get the chance to make another PC build from absolute zero, I would make a guide on that because I’ve had my long list of nightmares going through those steps 😅 But as for the steps before you turn on your PC build or even attempt to build : 1. Have Windows loaded on a USB Drive (you can get this through Microsoft) 2. Download WiFi and/or LAN drivers from your motherboards support website on a separate USB Drive (I’ve ran into an issue once when the motherboard couldn’t even connect to Ethernet or WiFi) 2A. Optional* but on the same USB Drive for the drivers, you could also have the latest BIOS update on the USB Drive so you can update it before trying to load windows 3. Put the windows USB Drive on the motherboard, and when you turn on the PC for the first time, it’ll go through BIOS (assuming no issues with your PC’s components) 3A If bios says it can’t read/detect CPU fan, just set it to ignore because you have AIO pump instead 4. Assuming no issues and it goes to your bios, there should be a section for bootable drives, and you should see the USB Drive showed as a bootable drive, and when you exit the bios, Windows setup should begin. 5. Follow all steps. You could always ignore the activation just so that you can get it running (I personally just buy the activation from Microsoft so that it’s easier and always saved on my account) 5A if during the windows activation when it ask for internet and your mobo can’t detect WiFi or LAN, connect the other usb drive to install those drivers These are the steps I can come up off the top of my head, and there’s also many guides here on RUclips as well :) I hope that helps
Definitely a nice build , interested in the vertical mount . Do you have to adjust or tweak it to make sure the gpu is level ? Doesn't look level to me , maybe it just me . Again dope build , doing a blk build with the same case just the flow and the Rog Strix 4070ti super with a Rog strix z790-e motherboard.
It probably isn’t lol, I didn’t mind since the 4070 isn’t as heavy as my 4090 white build where I def needed the GPU anti sag stick. And that’s an awesome combo 🔥 good luck with the build

@@FIREWOLFTECH Shouldn’t the air from the 3 fans of the AIO NZXT come out of the PC because it expels hot air from the water heated by the CPU instead of bringing in air that will warm up in contact with the water heated by the CPU?
This video was great and really helped me with the placement of the infinity fans
The title should be "gamer teaches you how to build a pc in only your left ear ASMR"
jokes aside this was the video i was missing, im literally using 99% of the pieces in this video for my own build minus the turbo expensive brand you picked for the gpu (jealous asf). One of the biggest problems I was having was the power supply, because I needed a specific type of cable for the 4070 super I picked and that little tidbit at 4:40 saved a ton of headache (finding one that is not daisy-chained and doesn't share the same power cable to other parts of the build).
The black and white rgb looks great especially with the white moving on the side of the fans.
Lian Li's RGB software is awesome with so many possible combos
This is so much understanding and what was the drills that u got?
Hello sir i can clearly see mirror on all the fans … for this is it necessary to have reversible fans and where did you installed those 6 reversible fans
You don’t need reverse blade fans, I have it so I can see all mirrors.
The 6 reverse are located on bottom and on the AIO
@@FIREWOLFTECH to get the same look then i must go with reverse blade fans at side and bottom?
@@FIREWOLFTECHi was doing more research and i found out that reverse blade set is not available, you have to buy it individually and you will get controller with the pack only that of normal fans blade
Good explanations, great job and nice build .. everything looks clean.
Thanks ☺️ appreciate the feedback 🔥
That new connector 4:34 started on the 30 series. With the 3090ti.
i love your build and will build myself a similar build in a few weeks with the amd 9800x3d and the RTX 5090. would you suggest some changes now? for example there are new lian li wireless fans, but sadly not the infinity ones so i think i stick with your partlist for now. thanks a lot.
where did bro get the rtx 5090 tho 😭
what settings are your fans on for the RGB? i tried to make mine look like yours at 1:18:00 but none of my fan setting in the Lconnect software look like that
This video saved me 250. I built almost the same PC. Just different fans and GPU.
🔥🔥 which fans and gpu you went with ?
@@FIREWOLFTECH I went with the NZXT duo fans. Micro center was charging 250 to build it. I was like no way. Your video helped a ton.
How do I get my infinity fans to have 2 colors like that in the thumbnail
After so many months, is there much dust into the case from that opening between front panel glass and side panel glass?
This video was a huge help in building my PC. I was hoping to get your insight on something however. I mounted my AIO similarly, and have been hearing bubbly noises occasionally at the top of the radiator. Is that something that you have also experienced? Do you know if anything can be done about that? Thanks!
thank you for amazing video! well done ❤
You're welcome and I appreciate the feedback
thanks for the vid! doing mine now, pretty nervous!!!
This looks fire💥
🔥 thanks
Hey fire wolf. Im building in a Nzxt H9 Elite and am also using lian li fans but my 120 TL led fan wont properly fit in the rear of the case no matter what i do. Any way you can help?
Bro I’m almost building this exact pc tomorrow night lol. Same gpu and case at least 😂. Oh and the cpu cooler. Slightly different specs. Dope video !!!
I lied though. I have the ti super… but yeah. Dope build brother! I can’t wait to build mine tomorrow night. Crazy it’s so similar haha.
Awesome 🔥 Hopefully you have it built already ! H9 elite is beautiful 🤩
Yeah man let me know how it went !
@@FIREWOLFTECH it went great !!! I will try and post a video on my yt. I just started posting gaming clips again! Nothing special. But it looks so nice man. Thank you for this video. It helped me a lot with the case. Very informative. I watched the whole thing twice haha.
@@FIREWOLFTECH after looking back at it I need those fans… they are so nasty. And my fans sit along the black line around the edge. How does yours sit above that black part ?
amazing video bro, Freaking loved the video
Thanks bro 🔥 appreciate the feedback
Thx for sharing this! Well done
Clean af. You inspired me to do a build like this
Appreciate the comment 🔥 Hope you end up doing it !
Thanks again for the help :)
I don't like the glass top closing off the top fans. Where will the heat rise to?
BRo you are a lifesaver,thanks
Glad this helped out🔥
Would push/pull work on top? Seems like it would.
this is super late, but i've planning on doing an extremely similar build to this one, and i just saw this video for the first time last night. you just boosted my confidence in it, and taught me that the 40 series cards only have 1 pcie port so i need a psu that has the gpu port. anyway, after watching the video, i looked at my pcpartpicker list and i wanna know if the rgb version of the kraken elite necessary if i'm just gonna swap the fans out for the lian li fans? just curios. the non rgb is version is like 10 bucks cheaper on amazon and i wouldn't mind saving whatever money i can on this very expensive build haha
thank you mate thats awesome
you like the elite over the flow?
What are the strimer pieces names? Sorry
24 PIN Motherboard
12VHPWR GPU (12-light Guide)
on up side you should use the revers blade
So you have your top fans and aio side fans as exhaust but only three intake on bottom?
The top 3 fans and 1 rear fan is exhaust, while the side and bottom fans are intake. Sorry for the late reply
Can you tell me the placement of your fans? Ik you said 6 reverse and 4 regular. Are the reverse blades on the side and bottom or top? Thanks.
Reverse blades are on the side and bottom.
The regular are rear and top :)
Front mounted gpu doesn't make sense when you have 3 fans at the bottom of the case, you're just throttling it
oh man i love this guy! im trying to build my first pc almost exactly like your! for CPU i will use intel i7 core 14700K, asus rog strix 4070 Ti Super :)
About to start my first build with this case. I sat here and shopped for hours and only reason I went with all nzxt fans is because of availability. I wasn’t willing to wait until a week or 2! Plus the nzxt controller in this build seems like a plus if that’s the route I’m going./?
Yeah it’ll be easier because the controller is already there, so it’s plug and play at the point 🔥
Is this also good for streaming?
Thank you for this video, at least I know now that h9 elite with vertical gpu mount wouldn't have enough space for noctua nh-d15s.
With the h9 elite case i got many screw packets
There is one which says standoff screw
Sir is this one is extra provided by the company or am i meant to use it
Today only i got to know these are essential to avoid short circuit contact with case
Hi, does it make any difference if I have the h9 flow?
The only difference I beleive is the top panel is not glass, and is a ventilated mesh design
@@FIREWOLFTECH Thanks for the answer.
So if you dont have 3pin argb header on your motherboard can you still make lian li"s fans work?
Sir since you are using one lianli controller to control all fans power and rgb so one connection from psu(sata) is enough to run these fans with power and light? Nzxt claim its controller can handle 9 fans through splitter so same goes for nzxt one controller and one psu (sata connection ) for power?
lian li's software has a passthrough function for the motherboard rgb. you can still plug in the 3 pin; but use the motherboard unless you want to. it lets you switch between them.
What software do you use to sync all the lights on a build like this ?
@@holdenaguillard7565 Depends what hardware you use. Typically the motherboard RGB software can sync with most things, if not a universal controller like thermaltake's controller can be used to sync RGB. Otherwise you can use 3rd party software like Signal RGB to sync things up... its messy, it's based on tons of hardware variables... the simplest solution is to either use all the same brand, or just skip the RGB altogether...
@@boss350z5 do you know if Lian li fans are compatible with aura sync ?
Found homie on tiktok, then yt. Crazy
Crazy 🔥🔥🔥
solid vid bro
Can i use the 7800x3d in this build???or what else can i use other than the 7900..
Great video very informative
I love the build but I have a question if possible would you be able to make a video on how to set everything in bios, like downloading windows, and updating your motherboard, what the ram should be at? I like how you made it easy to build a pc but I struggle a lot in bios and never know where to start and how to active window after I get the windows key, and the water mark? If possible but I love the build can’t wait to see more builds in the future, keep up the work man. I loved it also thank you for showing step by step it helped out a lot
I would’ve done a video like that if I hadn’t re used a motherboard and SSD that already had windows downloaded 🥺 when I get the chance to make another PC build from absolute zero, I would make a guide on that because I’ve had my long list of nightmares going through those steps 😅
But as for the steps before you turn on your PC build or even attempt to build :
1. Have Windows loaded on a USB Drive (you can get this through Microsoft)
2. Download WiFi and/or LAN drivers from your motherboards support website on a separate USB Drive (I’ve ran into an issue once when the motherboard couldn’t even connect to Ethernet or WiFi)
2A. Optional* but on the same USB Drive for the drivers, you could also have the latest BIOS update on the USB Drive so you can update it before trying to load windows
3. Put the windows USB Drive on the motherboard, and when you turn on the PC for the first time, it’ll go through BIOS (assuming no issues with your PC’s components)
3A If bios says it can’t read/detect CPU fan, just set it to ignore because you have AIO pump instead
4. Assuming no issues and it goes to your bios, there should be a section for bootable drives, and you should see the USB Drive showed as a bootable drive, and when you exit the bios, Windows setup should begin.
5. Follow all steps. You could always ignore the activation just so that you can get it running (I personally just buy the activation from Microsoft so that it’s easier and always saved on my account)
5A if during the windows activation when it ask for internet and your mobo can’t detect WiFi or LAN, connect the other usb drive to install those drivers
These are the steps I can come up off the top of my head, and there’s also many guides here on RUclips as well :) I hope that helps
this is like the exact same build i want to do so thank you so much for this
You’re welcome ! I appreciate the feedback and good luck on your build 🔥
Quick tip bro never mount your aio with the tubes at the bottom it decreases the life and you’ll have to replace it in a few months good vid bro I love it
I know you didn’t but just a heads up
Thanks for the tip 🔥 and I appreciate the feedback 💓

Not gonna lie, the NZXT H9 Flow case makes for some really beautiful builds. But I do love my Hyte Y60 case!
They really do make beautiful builds 🔥 I like the Y60, but wish they would show bottom fans
