Trying to reuse Winn grips. My first attempt to remove with air compressor. Next go round should be easier. Need a fine point needle to inject air into grip hole.
I don't fit the shaft with tape when installing it works fine without the tape, using air it's easy on and off. Thanks for the tip for getting the taped grips off.
@@golferwithguns Okay I did it yesterday and I have found the ultimate way to save a grip that's taped on. Start by wrapping the grip in one wrap of duct tape. This will prevent the grip from stretching and ballooning but still allow it to separate from the double sided tape. Also you can keep the duct tape on the grip for when you reinstall it as it will make the grip more rigid. Once installed just peel off the duct tape. Mine left no residue. No stretched or popped grips!

Great idea to heat them up. I'm also going to slip a piece of pvc tubing over the grips to prevent them from over stretching when the balloon up.
Good idea. I need a tip that will actually go inside the grip hole.I have to align my nozzle and work to keep it there.

@@kusler67 Good idea! I’ll give it a try.👍
Could you put the grip end in hot water for a minute or so?
I'll try it!
