kool !!😃
Thank you boss!!!!!
I definitely need to do some work on my 14ft wit the 224
I think you should do a 440cc build and save that 224cc for a nice portable 10ft build. Even stock the 440cc will prob smoke a built 224. Due to the low end torque
Great boat / vid! Makes we want to build one so bad! Looks like you guys have fun! Cheers
#boatkart are so fun you should do one!!! Thank you my bro
Super dope video my dude!!! Love it!!!!
More to come my bro
Ive already got a 1032 and wanting to put a 7.5 mud motor on it but I am needing to put two guys and gear in it. Any idea the performance with two adult males and gear in that 10ft?? I dont need to run on plane, just need to go up current about 8-10 mph if I can.
10ft are glorified paddleboards but more fun. Not much real-estate on them for gear and people. We have a video with 10ft #radioflyerboat with a 440cc engine on it check it out. But the speeds you are looking for are totally reasonable out of 7.5
Lovin the content dude. Getting ready to upgrade my 14’ boat to a 1648 and put a 670 with an sps longtail on it! Your channel just keeps me pumped to do it! Duromax came out with a 999cc about a year ago. Would love to see you try and get one of those big boys on a longtail lol! Keep it up man
Thank you my bro!!!! Stay tuned!!!!
What rpm are you turning to get 18mph on the 224? Governor removed?
3800 to 4200 area most of the time
Sweet setup man ! Question on the motor , I know it’s for skinny waters and all, but how’s the maintenance on these vs a small outboard ?
Easier like taking care of a lawnmower. No specialized tools or knowledge maintain
Do you think any aftermarket parts will be coming out for the 713 anytime soon? I’d like to do a total overhaul on it with billeted parts and stronger valve springs like what’s available for the 670
That's a good question so far the intake it a predator 670 and the exhaust match 420cc flanges. As far as engine internals. Once you start going to lightweight internals like billet flywheels you loose low end torque for more power at top end. We don't do those mods on most engines for marine applications. If I feel I need more power we just go up in engine size keep reliability. If feel i need more power i will do a 999cc it weighs the same a 713cc nearly. A heavier flywheel and a torque cam would be the mod I would want on the engine to help better handle the 10 inch prop it has on the SD. Hopefully someone makes that video of a tear down of this engine.
@@azlongtales that’s good to know, I’m new to the small engine world, really just trying to make the most out of my 713 that I just got, it’s for a 1436 flat bottom and I’m just wanting to see how fast I can make it go, I’ve seen some companies like swamprunner make different props, have you tried any props with different pitches? And would going with a heavier flywheel and either a bigger prop or steeper pitch be the right way of going about increasing top speed?
@Blake Jewell I think a heavier flywheel would help forsure with torque same with a stainless propeller they are about indestructible. They only real way to know is a tachometer experimentation and GPS speed to see what's working for you every rig is different in its characteristics. There's no one size fits all solutions
@@azlongtales Good to know, Thanks!
