- Just an update to those of you who haven't played BF5 in a while there is a new map, new weapons and new gadgets available ( I mean if we count rocket launchers as gadgets ).
For the record I don't think the Lunge Mine should be in BF5. I mean my stance on the still buggy nature of the bayonet charge mechanic carried over from BF1 is an obvious reason but really this gadget reminds me too much of all the remote control troll gadgets in BF4 that didn't really add to BF3's or BF4's core gameplay. They just end up being tools to troll and ruin what normal Battlefield gameplay usually was when you throw in things like the SUAV, RAWR and XD-1 Accipiter.
However, BF5 can't be fixed because it would require more developer time and resources that are unavailable as well as an engine that supports other AA options outside of TAA ( seriously they can't because of the version of the Frostbite engine they used for BF5 ). So if it can't really get any worse ( BF1 already exists ) then F it I guess, throw in some wire guided dynamite pigeons.

One of my favorites is the squad or teammates that run to a flag that's being taken. They take the flag back but ignore the one enemy hiding. Then they all run off and the flag starts to burn again. Losing a flag means enemy on said flag!!! Glad I'm not alone! Cheers!
ghosting the flag is risky, better get outside objective area and wait for them to zerg off...
about reviving - if there are snipers around it's suicide. also many people think they're trapped in the animation
The best part for me is when they are able to revive you during a huge firefight but you just want to die and respawn somewhere else.

The lunge mine can be brutal when you're on the business end. I am now officially afraid to operate tanks on any map except Panzerstorm. "I will not be in your lunge mine montage ..." Wise words to live by, but it is inevitable.

The lungemine is an awesome addition to the game in my opinion. With the lungemine and the bazooka you can finally take out tanks again. Before this update you where stuck with the panzerfaust that does like 12 dmg, making you have to shoot 9 rockets at a tank before it gets taken out.

It's meh, while it's recoil is minimal compared to others and allows for a little bit of tap firing at distance it's kind of seems pointless when you can full auto the STG at the same range and kill faster.

Defibrillator and repair tool made excellent troll gadgets. RAWR, SUAV, UCAV, etc were not troll gadgets, they were cheese gadgets. I play a lot of BF4 now and they are the bane of my existence.
I remember in medal of honor rising sun youd have to fend off against charging japanese with those stick mines. Fun game.
I just love how since the outcome of the Pacific theatre the western chapter has been deleted from existence.

Can you imagine the thought process behind the lunge mine? Like some crazy Japanese inventor thought that it would be a good idea to put a mine on the end of a stick and charge enemies with it... O.o
If I was forced to use one, I'd probably try to throw it like a javelin.
The lunge mine, when synchronized with teammates, is one of the best anti tank gadgets.

I've never understood how you actually get new weapons in BFV. I know some unlocks when you reach a certain level but how about those which are just locked? Can you get them after a certain amount of kills or you gotta get higher level on a weapon to get another one?
there are two ways to unlock weapons:
1. leveling up your classes to 20 unlocks the basic weapons
2. get the newly added weapons as rewards from chapter assignments
2b. if you missed these chapter assignments (they're only active for one week each), you'll have to wait until DICE decides to let you buy them for 1'200 cc (they will appear greyed out on the bottom of the weapons list. you should get a notification when you start the game as soon as this becomes available)

That's only if you have the ammo crate. If you have the ammo pouches you can't resupply

lunge mine has no respect to anything, like flieger faust. with 2 or 3 of these anti-vehicle gadgets users, you can kill anything in one shot.

Man... I was hoping for some new shotgun gameplay.
i got kicked by admin to enemy team(admins team) because my k/d was 40/2... 15min later admin kicked and banned me from server saying i was hacking cause k/d was 54/6 and better then admins 47/55... that happened 2/15/2020, now i only have access to 3 BF3 servers
You guys have bullied the other teams tank drivers so bad that they are afraid to come anywhere close to land!
