Thanks I appreciate it. It is still a long ways from being done but we are moving in the right direction. It will be a bit before i do another video because we got hit with a huge snow storm up here in Montana. Thanks again for the message.
The only thing I really had to cut was the firewall. No inner fenders or anything else structural...and that was nice. I have one other video of it the way it is now to show the firewall cut. I haven’t worked on it in a while due to lack of time lol.
datsunpolo lol i know i am gonna take some time off of work and get the tranny tunnel done, get the front mount mounted and work on the coolant lines. That way i can fire it up again at least. I would love to see pictures of yours to. I sometimes wish i would have went sr20 or boosted KA. Oh well it will be worth it when it is done. I have it on instagram to. Look me up mt1jzdatsun.
Big mistake putting fender flairs on this little truck though. Fender flairs do hold moisture and they WILL rot out that area of the bed. Best to leave well enough alone.
@@1988vanna I use to install cable TV in these 620 series Datsun/Nissan trucks. They do, indeed rust out prematurely. Believe me on this, I've had experiance with them, plus owned a 1977 Datsun/Nissan truck to.
Wish these little trucks were still being made today.
Congratulations.. i'll be waiting for the next part of your work. So good luck

Not this style…some cheaper ones are enclosed but not these…they are open on the bottom…no spot for moisture to collect
