This is a fictional book. In reality she did not even like Richard III and greatly feared him. Some guy wrote years later that he had proof that she did in order to boost the York claim. But of course he lost it and only had his word. Richard III had one brother beheaded and two other placed in the tower for them to disappear and be assumed dead. Would anyone love someone like that?

The Tudor Rose by Margaret Campbell Barnes is the most badass depiction of Eliz of York I've ever read. The White Princess is definitely entertaining but The Tudor Rose is a hella level-up. - sincerely, an armchair English historian.
@@Zaramakeupartist Thank you, I have been studying my family tree for many years. There is an awesome site called FamilySearch.Org that is free, and has so much information, and very easy to use. I tell all of my friends to join it, and start to learn of their own families.
@@Zaramakeupartist It is totally free! It is done by the Mormons, and they have been doing genealogy for over 150 years. The site has many birth, and death certificates. I have been using it for many years. After you join it, just fill out your basic family tree, up to your grandparents if possible. Then to find out if you are related to somebody like Washington, or Daniel Boone, click on the FIND section at the top left of the page, and fill out the info, then see if you are related, and it will show you how you are related, and the family tree! If you need help with the information, just use Google to fill out the birth, and death year, etc. It is very easy, and using the FIND section is where you will have the most fun looking for notable family. Good luck, I hope you learn a lot, and have fun!
You know Richard death is kinda scary and heartbreaking yeah I know everything he did to his nephews but imagine you die like that alone with no clothes and eyes open I mean thinking about dying like that freak me out
I utterly believe it was Margret Beaufort there was no need for Richard to kill them as he had already made them illegitimate Beauford was the only one to gain from there death for her son Henry
This is a series, well 2 series. One is called the white queen which you might want to watch first because then the second one will make more sense. Then the second one is called the white princess. You can watch them with a Starz subscription
someone should do Wars of the Roses with "Everybody Knows" song "Justice League" Everybody knows that the war is over, everybody knows that the good guys lost...
Elizabeth of York and Henry Tudor had a very successful marriage but it might not be as romantic as portrayed in "The White Princess". Henry Tudor was dominated by his mother. Fearful that Elizabeth of York would try to influence him the way her mother had influenced her father, Henry kept his wife purely in the domestic world. He made sure everyone understood that his crown was his by right of conquest and not as the result of his marriage to Edward IV's oldest daughter. Because of his miserliness, Henry, as Francis Bacon noted, ‘towards his queen [Elizabeth of York] he was nothing uxorious, nor scarce indulgent….’ , Throughout their marriage, Henry VII was faithful. After her death in childbirth, Henry was grief-stricken, realizing perhaps how much of a role his kind and gracious wife played in his life. Although Henry never remarried, he considered marrying both Katherine of Aragon and Juana Castile to maintain the alliance with Spain.

Her loyalties might lie with the Tudors, but at heart she will always be a York.

Great and so fitting for Elizabeth of York's story
Glad you like our videos. :)
If she was alive today, she would be a Yorkist through and through'still'god bless her ❤️
this also fits for Sansa when she was with Ramsay.
Ramsay was disgustingly abusive and Henry the 7th loved Elizabeth and never cheated on her.
lol that just tv show nonsense. In the books Sansa never meets Ramsay
Why isn't there any clips of Henry Tudor? He is a major part of the white princess.
Because it's all about Elizabeth of York and not her husband
the white queen is brilliant! thank ypu for making this amazing content
It seems like the song has been written for her ( running from your home and returning as a stranger)
I absolutely adore this.

I only watched the White Queen. Can anyone tell tell the daughter Elizabeth have sex with her uncle Richard and later married Henry? Who was Anne?
Lizzie´s life was own of a novel, but her mother was a greater queen.
I feel like her mother had to go through a lot more turbulence in life. But I think Lizzie did good as well.
