Got the Buds 2 Pros for my birthday, was really surprised cause I've just gotten used to cheap £20 wireless earphones I usually buy from Amazon. So I put them on after we got out of the shop, was surprised by the active noise cancelling as I haven't watched or read about the features before so I thought I've lost hearing and took em off to check 😂 the sound quality is good and good as all my techs are Samsung so I can connect ans listen on both my phone and tablet at the same time which I think is really useful
I received mine today and so far I love them! Great sound, noise cancelling has improved a lot over the previous Buds Pro, and most importantly, the fit! It's a lot better and they don't fall out of my ears like the Buds Pro did.
I received mine today like many of us. Just an honest background who I am. I am one of those audiophile nuts, about 30+ years. Not to brag, but my stereo is about 20k. So far I have owned original Galaxy Buds, own 2 pairs of Buds Pro (1 at office, 1 for home), and now this new Buds2 Pro Buds2 Pro sound quality is far superior to the original Pro. Particularly channel separation and little detail. I love these Buds2 Pro! Big thumbs up!
I'm still using the galaxy buds+ which I got free with my phone a couple of years back. Would these warrant the cost to upgrade regarding sound quality?

Great review. Having pixel phone myself I'm happy I opted out for pixel buds pro (following your review). Shame samsung buds require samsung gear to really shine, altho same can be said for apple buds as well :) I did find the mic test sounding kinda muddy on the Samsung buds here (studio test)... traffic test sounded better for some reason
Looks like I'm keeping my (Still great sounding) Galaxy Buds 1 Pro for a while longer. I'm currently not maining a Samsung Phone for that 24bit audio support, so I wouldn't benefit much from switching anyway. The battery life is still decent on the Pros, and I've never had a problem with the fit like many people have.
You will never get any benefit from 24bit audio. 16bit is already proven beyond the limit of human hearing (there are hard limits to your ear physics). Pure marketing gimmick

ive also been using the buds pro for awhile now and the fit really isnt much of an issue (most of the time) but when sweat gets between the buds and the ears, the buds start to fall out, which i guess is a problem for most earbuds without fins

Noticed your voice didn't sound as clear as I've heard people on some buds. Wondering if noise cancellation wasn't being as effective as it could be. Got both Buds ± and Buds pro and tested recording of my voice which usually sounds clear without to much distortion.

Wasn't all that impressed with how you sounded on the microphone test, had a very processed sound with a bit of a weird cut off at the end of each sentence. Went compare against the Galaxy buds live review you did a while back as apparently you get those free with the watch 5 pre-order, but you hadn't posted the actual audio back then, just that you sounded a bit fuzzy. How do they compare from memory?

The scenario: 1. i only work nightshifts. 2. a new building will be built soon nearby = lots of noise id assume.. 3. i want to put on some in ear headphones with noise cancellation, when i go to bed before i have to go to work. So... Is it possible to: A: disable all the buttons on the earbuds (so that when i twist and turn in bed, my pillow/head wont prompt an action)? b: i sleep with the "dont disburb me" mode on, on my phone, a galaxy S22+. My alarmclock on the phone is set to 9.30 pm. Will be alarmsound be audioble via BOTH my phones speakers and earbuds? (this is kinda crucial, cause if the earbubs fall off by accident while im asleep, i could oversleep for work.. if the phone isnt also putting out the alarmsound). Any insights welcome. /cheeeeers Solution: the alarmclock sound does start on both phone and earbuds at the same time (tip: use the "increase the volume gradually" at the alarmclock settings on the phone, to prevent getting a very loud initial sound). The buttons on the earbuds can be diabled aswell. /im-happy
I do not trust the noise reduction or cancelation on those things, i had galaxy buds a few years back and when I went to remove it with that feature activated. I literally lost my hearing for 15 minutes. It made a high pitched screech, scary stuff
How is the passive isolation on these? I am one of those people who gets terrible headaches from most ANC buds I have tried, so passive isolation is a feature that I would very much welcome.
Idk about these but the buds plus at least have great passive NC maybe even as good as wearing ear plugs, they have no anc tho and results may vary depending on ear shape.
For the price they're quite good. Ever since Samsung has picked up AKG, the IEMs have at least sounded good. Maybe better value with a discount but they are still considered good for TWS.
Bixby just ended my interest in the Samsung choices for digital assistant. Bye Samsung , Bixby is total crap . I don't care how good it works because there's only room for 1 assistant in my life .
Had the buds 2, was very pleased with the sound quality but unfortunately on fell out while cycling n got run over by a car. Ordered the 2 Pro so lookin forward to hearing any improvements.
The buds Pro are my favorite sounding earphones. I have Sony monitor headphones, chi-fi of different brands, and a very good DAP. The buds pro is my reason to stick to Samsung. It sounds like advertisement but I love much music and is first time that listening music through a smartphone is not a chore.

Can you make it clear for me this. The ANC is for hearing music only or for calls also? Because i feel very very little difference when i switch on ANC or switch off or in ambient mode. The other end person was able to hear my voice similar wen using ANC or not.
My understanding is that the galaxy buds do work with google assistant. you just have to go into your settings and change the default from Bixby to google. I've heard people say say it only works with Bixby but I read and seen videos of people changing the assistant. I haven't tried this yet but I could be incorrect. Anyone have any input?
I have the Samsung Buds Pro and just can't seem to get on with how they plug deep into my ears. Much prefer the Buds Live even though the seal isn't as great.

I definitely prefer the case of the Pixel Buds Pro, that's just a brilliant design for a case. Super easy one-handed, while the case for the Galaxy Buds Pro are nice, the opening is kinda awkward one-handed & it feels like it'll snap off lol.
even without watching the review i know it's better than the Pixel, the galaxy buds now have a higher definition Bluetooth codec, even with AAC only, the first buds pro already have a better detail, and separation than the pixel buds, and even Sennheiser, an audio brand which known to be more expensive than most comparable brand, have AptX adaptive codec and sounds better too, the ANC on the Pixel also turns out to be mediocre for the class

Cool I got these with my Zflip4 pre order. I had the 1st version.. lost one a few months ago on a flight and kinda miss them... although now I'm using the old 1st gen galaxy buds that have been working great.
just picked up a pair today for £60 and am really rather impressed. while im on the samsung ecosystem (flip4 and watch 5) there was no way i was going to pay ~£200 for them (or any headphones for that matter). But given how often they are bundled with latest samsung phones, there are always going to be people that just dont like in-ear headphones and are flogging them off cheap.

I bought my buds 2 very recently and I have been facing problems such as they do not connect or basically stopped connecting when I try to go live on Tiktok or Instagram live and also another app called Yalla. I have tried reseting my earbuds but still its not working. Please kindly help 🙏
Great video. Iv given up on Samsung's Google or apples earbuds. Sony or even soundcore smash all of these. For example the soundcore liberty 3 pro are absolutely fantastic and much cheaper. Support hi res ldac and will play on any phone that supports it. All of this nonsense having to have a Samsung phone for ldac. Or Google buds pro only having aac or SBC is ludicrous.

All these premium headhones are very good at everything but playing music. These are just ok still better than anything apple makes.

Just remove Bixby as the default app and you'l be using the phone's designated voice assistant, be it Alexa or Google Assistant.
I was wondering more about the ambient noise if you can turn that up for each ear, to hear people speak better if you are deaf

Which buds are better Samsung's galaxy buds pro 2 or the latest Huawei freebuds pro 2 ?

I definitely prefer the case of the Pixel Buds Pro, that's just a brilliant design for a case. Super easy one-handed, while the case for the Galaxy Buds Pro are nice, the opening is kinda awkward one-handed & it feels like it'll snap off lol.
even without watching the review i know it's better than the Pixel, the galaxy buds now have a higher definition Bluetooth codec, even with AAC only, the first buds pro already have a better detail, and separation than the pixel buds, and even Sennheiser, an audio brand which known to be more expensive than most comparable brand, have AptX adaptive codec and sounds better too, the ANC on the Pixel also turns out to be mediocre for the class
How would u compare them to the Freebuds Pro 2? The call quality doesn't sound that great to me
lots of people are asking that here i've noticed, but seems there is no answer. I call quality is great on my huawei freebuds pro 2. As is the sound quality. Not had anything like it before. Would like to know the differences.

Cool I got these with my Zflip4 pre order. I had the 1st version.. lost one a few months ago on a flight and kinda miss them... although now I'm using the old 1st gen galaxy buds that have been working great.

Have a galaxy s21 and I went with the pixel buds pro cause it has multipoint connectivity and longer battery life

I hope they make new galaxy buds live but I doubt it. only earbuds that fit comfortably for me but audio quality is a bit lacking
They did just that buddy. The new Galaxy buds 3 are just like an improved buds live. But with a Stem style design.

Why Z Fold looks more realistic and fantastic metalic in your hand compare to Samsung's own advertisement?
just picked up a pair today for £60 and am really rather impressed. while im on the samsung ecosystem (flip4 and watch 5) there was no way i was going to pay ~£200 for them (or any headphones for that matter). But given how often they are bundled with latest samsung phones, there are always going to be people that just dont like in-ear headphones and are flogging them off cheap.

I'm upgrading from the OG galaxy buds to those galaxy buds2 pro doing the pre order deal my galaxy buds for $75 off the new galaxy buds2 pro mind u I got my og galaxy buds for free when I pre ordered the s10+ I think it's a great deal and a big upgrade plus a free wireless charger
I bought my buds 2 very recently and I have been facing problems such as they do not connect or basically stopped connecting when I try to go live on Tiktok or Instagram live and also another app called Yalla.
I have tried reseting my earbuds but still its not working.

Great video. Iv given up on Samsung's Google or apples earbuds. Sony or even soundcore smash all of these. For example the soundcore liberty 3 pro are absolutely fantastic and much cheaper. Support hi res ldac and will play on any phone that supports it. All of this nonsense having to have a Samsung phone for ldac. Or Google buds pro only having aac or SBC is ludicrous.

Mate, you said bixby cant read out third party messages, but I got my galaxy buds +, live, and now buds 2 pro and it can read it out, you need to set it in notifcations in wearable
