Been working on this one for awhile... I have them all unlocked, now I'm just waiting for them to show up in the shop/packs. Currently at 149/150. FINALLY got Brainstorm to proc for me earlier today, now all I have left is for the invisible joker to show up for me and I've found them all (so far)!!
Yeah, there's other jokers that have similar requirements. Steel Joker (needs a steel card) Stone Joker (needs a Stone card) Glass Joker (needs a glass card).
I have everything unlocked except those stupid legendary jokers. I've been using the anaglyph deck to open huge numbers of legendary jokers at once, but I've still only gotten Chicot. A single soul card after probably a thousand arcana booster packs in theory by odds, it should only take about 70 5 packs per soul card. it has taken me 1000 for 1. I should have gotten 14 by now
You can start doing Gold Stake runs, once you have a Gold Stake sticker on any legendary it won't appear in future Gold Stake runs until you have stickers on all of them
Thank you so much, after this I try to buy the base banana for the first time. After the base banana gone, the Cavendish appear on the shop and then I got my first win using red deck.
It's a setting you can toggle on. It's a sticker that identifies the highest stake you've won with each joker. Helps when you're going for Completionist++ achievement (get a gold stake win with all jokers)
TBH focus on making sure you look at synergies, and know the base mechanics first. Like an Xmult joker is better than a +mult which is better than a +chips. But +chips is good when you already have a +mult or Xmult combo you think will be worthwhile. Everything is about working on your feet and being willing to adapt your strat if it's not viable or "in the cards"(sorry for the pun.) Also don't get annoyed when you lose runs, they will happen and it's all about discovery!
I looked at what i had to do for some jokers and decks,and just created a new profile w everythind enabled, because i am NOT playing with eternal jokers,or even touching challenges, they're boring and I'm here to have fun
To… to unlock the joker? Like the unlock is its own motivation and on checkered deck it’s really easy and DEF won’t cost you the round. If it does, the run wasn’t gonna finish anyway lmao
@@BaconNuke Yeah it’s one of the decks that starts out locked, and it only has hearts and spades so a royal flush is really easy. Plus the joker you get from the discard is one of the best, it’s called brainstorm and it copies the ability of the leftmost joker
@@gamer9smith Oh I know *what* Brainstorm is, seen enough videos lol.. just didn't realize it was unlocked that way.. still feels dumb to discard a good hand.. even if there's a whole deck that makes it easy

If you want to play optimally, only unlock certain Jokers so that you have less jokers you can find instead of them.

Yeah but you can go to main menu and rebuy it over and over again. Without spending any actual money in your run. I hope they won't fix that.

I've been trying to unlock cavendish and the mf banana keeps lasting me more than 5 whole antes
All 6s helps speed up the extinction process
The first time I bought the banana it lasted *one* round.. and then I never saw Cavendish..
I just had a Gros I bought in store 1 last the whole game. I was honestly impressed with that banana 😂😅
That damn banana is so volatile I swear. But the payoff for when you finally get the Cavendish is so satisfying
The speedrun joker had to have been the most difficult for me. I still need two; 5 gold cards and four 7 of clubs.
erratic deck helps a lot with the 7 of clubs one (the deck you unlock for completing orange stake)

Basically the game adapts to your plsystyle automatically. This is what makes Balatro so immersive.

So how do you unlock the last legendary? Do I just have to get lucky from spectral packs (unless omen globe)?
Soul actually just appears normally in Tarot packs, no need for Omen Globe. Not a high chance tho
Soul can appear in both tarot and spectral packs, like black hole and planets.
