Initiate Supply & 🌠 Meteorite Drops to Catch 👽 Alien Pals

I learned this glitch from another RUclipsr. Fast forward the PC time to 3 hours and the drops will occur. This way, you can initiate and control when the drops will happen, making it easier to catch Selyne, Xenogard and Xenovader. You can get a lot of good drops like elixirs and crude oil.

Ok so the first problem with this video is he doing it outside of the new island if you tried it there you will get meteor more often but you can also just increase your dayrate(in game timer speed) to it works for most things outside of building and eggs

I did it in the snowy and volcanic regions because I have not caught xenovader and xenogard yet. I've selyne already. That's why I didn't do it at the new island. In fact, I just uploaded a new video where I did 20 minutes of farming "self initiated" supply drops and meteorite descent at the new island to see how much resources I could obtain. For these videos, I didn't increase the day night cycle. It remains at 1.

Yes, I think the day and night settings in the game do not matter. What matters is manipulating the PC system clock and skipping the 3 hours waiting time.

This glitch bugged my game so no meteors drop now. If you set the clock back to normal, I never get a drop anymore.

That's strange. I've never encountered what you've just described. In fact, I did another video testing the kind of resources I would obtain after 20 mins farming via this self initiated supply drop. Really strange.

That is because your game is now minus how ever many hours you forwarded your clock.. lets say you forwarded your clock 6 hours then put is back to normal, you will now have to wait 6 hours for the times to match, so if the drops come every 3 hours, and you cheesed 2 drops you will have to waity 9 hours for another one, the best time to do this cheese is do a couple at night berore you go to bed, then the times will re synce overnight,

Strange. I never have to do that. I just reset my clock after farming. I login immediately again to test it and I'm able to perform the same glitch over and over again. It just works for me somehow.

@@vinshenoldnoobgamerthese folks are saying that without adjusting the time again, the game clock will have to wait for however many you glitched to catch up in real-time. Can you test if first setting the clock backwards three hours then moving forward produces the same result? Alternating this way will mitigate their issue.

So the test I did was I reset the PC system clock after I exited the game. Then I logged back in and did the same thing again. I had no issues initiating the supply drops and farm them.
