Another excellent walk. The geology of that part of Shropshire is probably the most complicated in the country! Probably a good thing that we didn’t film us scrambling up the Nower yesterday!
How lush and green it all looks now. So different that when the area was in full iron production. Loamhole Dingle - you would struggle to make that name up! Brilliant!
I have to admit this week is even better than up north(including the tree one)! All that board walk and not one train impersonation, what self control!!!
Great video. Such a comparison to yesterdays where we saw very little green. Today it was GREEN and with the sound of the water too. Think the name Ransoms for wid garlic is common in Sussex
Thank you Richard & Lee ! Very interesting. Sting Spider is very excited by the name Loamhole Dingle. It has very Spiderish connotations. I think it boinged his web and made it quiver.
I believe that the Telford Steam Railway (a heritage railway) has plans to run trains from their present location (Horsehay) down to Buildwas and Ironbridge.
I havent tried it, but it must be like Ramps that grow in the Appalachian Mntns on the east side of US (I'm all the way over on the west coast). I know many of the folks will flock into the hills to gather it in big bunches each Spring. My brother lived in West Virginia for a period & he said it was delicious.

Lots of Geology to get our heads around.
Thank you for yet another superb Shropshire video. That Lee certainly knows his onions - not to mention his wild garlic !
It tasted good too!
Oh Richard and Lee what a joy to watch , everything must have smelled wonderful after the rain. A great video.
Oh yes - the air was so fresh!

Greetings Richard I’m enjoying your very interesting videos from New Zealand
Hi Terry, so pleased you are enjoying the videos. Hope I can show more of the UK to you.
😊 I love the look of this walk. It would be ideal for one of our pups first proper walks... when he gets going! 😁
Sounds like a plan! Good luck.
We love these woods and you will see us regularly running through there on our videos.

Stinking Lily would possibly be a good band name 🤔 Great vid
Great video I did enjoy that, do you know what railway might end up running over that viaduct sounds interesting.
Well done you two 👍

@@davidkitchen7941 I like the sound of that!
Yes, I think the plans are afoot!
You certainly have a winning formula in that area .....
Thanks very much Tim - it is a great area to film.

I have to say the wild garlic was delicious.
That is anew wood, with mostly saplings. In the indistrial days most trees were cut down for making charcoal, then use as pit props in coal mines
It has made a great recovery and looks wonderful.
I might do some stealth camping there one day
Loamhole Dingle... heh heh
Next time I'll take Richard to the Ding Dong Steps.....
@@leeproudfoot9922, Oh! I'm looking forward to it 😀
I look forward to that Lee!
