Ironbridge is one of our favourite edwardian /victorian areas to visit in England. We hope you all enjoy our personal guide to this stunning location. Let us know we love to hear from you.
I live in South Africa , emigrated in 1973. The last time I visited theU.K. was 2002 & I stayed with a cousin in Bridgenorth (I wanted to visit the Severn Valley Railway), however having trained as a mechanical engineer I was very aware of the significance of Ironbridge so I made a point of visiting the town. Parked at the erstwhile station walked over the bridge & visited the museums. A very worthwhile & moving time spent. Many thanks for the video, brought back fond memories.
Ein tolles Video. Viele einheimischen werden bestimmt aufbrechen und sich diese wunderschöne Gegend anzusehen 😍👍🏻. Freue mich sehr, daß ich euch begleiten durfte. Thank you ❣️ Mamory Seekers
Thank you Andrew, it is a fantastic blast from the past, we love to once or so a year. Love it, you won't be disappointed. Hope you can manage a weekend so its not a rush to fit it all in!

That’s great to hear! Thank you so much 😀 Planning a road trip around the U.K.?! We have recently returned from 10 days in the Scottish Highlands, so we’re working on those videos at the moment…. It was a stunning trip!
I visit Ironbridge a lot. There is a large house near to the church, which was owned by Captain Webb, the Dawley mam, who was the first person to swim the English Channel. The house was converted into three or four separate dwellings. I could have purchased one in the eighties, something I’ve always regretted. On to your next video.
I really appreciate your content. I’d love to visit your country and hope to someday ……. 🤔 but I’m pretty sure that I will have to work up until lunch on the day of my funeral (to much partying when I was younger), so your content gives me something to enjoy and possibly 🙏 actually visit someday. Bravo Zulu sir, thank you.

Thank you
Built in 1779! Amazing.
Yeah, incredible. There is so much history to explore in this part of England. Have you ever visited?
Blist hill is amazing x
We have been a few times, cannot get enough of the Victorian era and it is such a cool place to immerse yourself in.
The school was the one a friend of mine attended when she was a child in the late 60’s.
She was so pleased to see it at Blists Hill.
Liked 34. Amazing bridge. Age of 13? Wow!
13 when he inherited business from father. 29 when he build the bridge.
@@MemorySeekers ,I see. Still young at 29 :-) Amazing.
