    Beautiful. I am so glad I found this video. Now I can fix my sub prints that did the funky stuff on the bottom. Thank you.

    I find myself epoxying my sublimation tumblers for the same reason. Great save!

    Great save they all look amazing! I'm with you, I think I would still have to epoxy sublimation cups.

      I will end up doing both mainly to offer a lower priced alternative.... but man I just want to epoxy and sparkle them all 🤣 which completely defeats the purpose.

    Big help. I am just starting sublimation and am happy to see a save for imperfect finishes!!

  • @Luxinda

    Yeah, I can’t see trying to burn off a sub image to start over. It’s so much easier to tweak the way you did, or if there is a truly catastrophic failure with a sublimation, just spray paint the cup white and turn it into a brand new, completely different resin tumbler. These turned out great!!!

      Yes so much work this was easier! I'm not so great at mugs and glad I didn't purchase glass can yet 😅 I can absolutely see myself smashing one!

      @@RaesTurquoiseTurtle While I'm sure breaking them is possible (cuz... they're glass), they really are very thick and durable. And I found a place that has glow-in-the-dark ones, so I have to get some video with those figured out soon, before Halloween is over - LOL!

    What resin did you use for these? Do you have the exact links? I’m new to resin/epoxy.

    • @RaesTurquoiseTurtle
      @RaesTurquoiseTurtle  Год назад +1

      I highly recommend trying several brands and starting with sample size or the smallest any company sells. I don't always say what resin I use simply because every time the weather changes I have to switch up my resin choice. So I use a very wide variety including KSResin, CCDIY, Maker Flo, FXPREMIUM, A Litte Extra, The Epoxy Resin store.... often a cup will end up with a different resin on every coat because I mix up a bunch and coat a whole row..... climate is a huge factor in how your resin will behave.

    I do like the artwork on the one you called tragic looks like a save on all of them and they sure look better with glitter but I get why you didn't put glitter on the guy cup that one's probably a guy would like

    • @RaesTurquoiseTurtle
      @RaesTurquoiseTurtle  Год назад +1

      Exactly that one is more open to a wider audience. Though I do have a regular male customer who buys glitter tumblers especially if it Christmas gnomes 🤣

    May I ask what sublimation printer you bought? And what tumbler press you use? And that was a great save on the tumblers!! They look amazing with the glitter and epoxy!!
