Congratulations! I have both of these dolls. When they first came out, I was a little disappointed that they were released because I already owned so many colored wigs. I knew that I would probably end up wanting them after I saw them for a while No surprise, I did end up wanting them for my collection. Both of them look so much better redressed. I love my TM 90 so much! I have a lot of wig models too. I was not going to get anymore, but I could not resist getting more at the Benefit Sale.

I just got # 89 on Amazon after recently watching a few unboxing. Like you, I was surprised at how much I like her. She’s very sweet looking with beautiful eyes. I find her unique, am so happy I decided to get her.
I’m so glad we were both able to get her! She does have such a sweet, kind look to her.

I don't want them for myself because I'm just not the super colored hair type, but they are stunning. If I were to get one of them, it would be 89. I just love her face mold and face paint. Great review!!
Thank you! I’ve customized Truly Me 90 now and she’s so much better without the blue wig. Truly Me 89 has definitely grown on me!
I purchased the blue haired girl on Prime day also. She's definitely getting a make over! But now I regret not getting the other one too, lol! Great video ❤

This was great! I've thought about getting 89, as I graduated from high school in '89 and I agree with you about her looks - love her skin tone, lip color, eyes and even the colorful hair is pretty on her. She is very different from Lea. I think you were really smart to get 90 and to give her wig to your daughter. Looking forward to seeing what you do with her. Thanks for sharing!!
Thanks, Beth! I love the idea of getting a TM doll corresponding with your graduation year. I graduated in 2011, and #11 is a cute doll but super rare. Maybe one day ;)
@@EvelynRoseAG I did get a #46 for my 46th birthday. And I know Ann from Now and Forever AG got a #21 for her 21st birthday. :) You're right that #11 is super rare, but maybe some day. :)

Have you been scouring the internet? :) When I was turning 50, #50 made me realize that I didn't have an Addy mold, which sent me on a hunt. 50s are really hard to find, but I found my custom 26. And 2 months later, I found a 24 and decided I had to have her. So, 26 + 24 = 50 and that worked. :) And the 24 was from a local seller and we ended up becoming friends. That was 2 years ago and we still text each other. I've since sold the 24, but I still have the friend. :)
I have 89 and named her Savannah. I made her be the artsy one in my collection and I think that if I ever get Saige I will make them share a room in the doll house that I will get in the future. I only like the colored hair if it has natural hair mixed in. I love the shoes to 89s meet outfit because they can go with a lot and the sweat suit and tank top are fun pieces to play around with as well.
Savannah is a beautiful name for her! I like that you also saw the artsy girl in her. I agree with you 100% on the colored hair. I now have two with the colored highlights and I think that’s probably all I will get
It's good that you got them! I have both as well. I don't know what I am going to do with miss blue hair just yet.
So far I’ve taken her wig off and added some face paint. She’s pretty pale as-is so I felt like the face paint was a must!
I also got 89 on Prime Day, she is very very pretty. I LOVE her wig, so pretty with the brown hair & green/blue highlights. I think she looks a LOT like the new $300. Collector doll. Both Josephina face molds, both medium skin, one has greenish eyes, one blue…. Do you agree with this, lol!
Congrats on your new doll! She does look similar to the FAO Schwartz doll although truthfully I like the face paint on 89 much better!
I have both those dolls & they are so pretty & underrated! I agree that TM90 cold have DEFINITELY used more face paint, she is a bit pale or her skin tone is shallow or something. Overall she is still beautiful & I actually really liked the hair in blue with gentle lighter tones of color pushing through. It is a tad thin, thicker would have been a bit better.
I’ve already added more face paint to 90 and she looks soo much better already! I understand what you mean about the skin being shallow.. it’s hard to describe but it’s not quite right.

Thank you so much for reviewing #89. I've been going back and forth about getting her for so long! I also love her skintone and eye color! Is her hair soft? I don't like the TM wigs as of late, because they feel dry! Soft hair is a must, unless it's textured or super curly! Oh golly, she is sooo tempting! TY!!😊
You’re welcome! I’m so glad it was helpful. Her hair is very soft, much softer than my newer Truly Me dolls. I haven’t played with it much yet but I did notice the wig is pretty great.
Intriguing. I like the tank and shoes for 89. And her face is adorable! I'm not a fan of those colors in her hair for me personally, but she is a very cute doll. I also do not like camo lol
My Isabelle has the similar hazel eyes to Lea and my Zoe (Rebecca) has the darker hazel eyes.
Now that you say that, I need to go and compare all of my hazel-eyed girlies! I know Lanie has more of a yellow hazel but I hadn’t thought about Isabelle.
I love truly me 89 and the purple haired girl (can't remember her number). It sucks that 90s wig is not a good because it's so pretty to me. I wouldn't get her though because her face is super similar to McKenna's and Chrissa's. I really want a doll with colored hair as I love changing mine up and it's super fun! I'll have to wait and see if there's any big black friday deals for these girls
If they are still in stock, I’m sure there will be Black Friday deals on them. 90’s wig is beautiful but of course leaves a lot to be desired quality wise. I have seen the wig pop up for sale on Mercari for pretty cheap if you wanted to try it out. It doesn’t need to be great quality for pictures, anyway. Interestingly, her face is pretty different from both my McKenna and Chrissa. I’ll shoot you a message on Instagram with a pic! 🤍
Oh yes. I didn't like camo either 😂. For the longest time it made me want to barf. I bet that set would look great on the boy ones. Did you ever think of getting the boy version ones? Dylan is a great name for her!
For some reason I actually have no interest in the boy dolls. Maybe it’s because I have two daughters and no boys, maybe because I like playing with their hair and the boys have no hair. I’m not sure.
Ugh, YES 89 has been calling to meeeee tooooo 😂 I can't get any new dolls right now but... I don't know, maybe someday. So glad you took advantage of the prime day sale! I'm looking forward to seeing what you do with 90, too! ❤

I liked the Street Chic dolls. I bought #89 and #90. #89 is my favorite. I didn't like the doll with purple hair. The purple wig was just too purple!
I agree - they did that doll dirty with that hair color. I would have loved to see more of a plum purple for her. I also just don’t like the new Sonali mold either.
I like the outfits for all the street chic line I have 89 and the one with the purple hair. I did not get 90 as I did not like her hair color.
The purple hair is a bit too purple for me, and of course I don’t like the blue hair either. I think the color streaks are more realistic for a child to have than all over hair color. I’ve already re-wigged #90 and she looks sooo much better!

I have all four I decided to give them all street names that were also girl names. So my 89 was named Madison my 90 was named Addison, the 91? Girly Graffiti was named Devon and the last was named Hannah I was scraping the bottom the barrel found there was a famous street in Chicago named Hannah.
