Risked it all to see shorties in Brownsville. Yelled corners in the elevators. It was fun but savage. Now I have 2 sons 15 and 12. But my boys are growing up in the burbs Hudson Valley. Safe environment. Excellent schools. My oldest is on the rowing team and honor role. Youngest takes advanced math and science classes. Studies Coding. I'm married to their moms 16 years. Home owner. My kid's lives are way different than my wife who's from Harlem and mines were. Looking at this video it's alot of memories but low key sad. So glad I escaped the hood. Wife and I worked hard. And now my boys have a better life and bright future. HBCU bound. Can't imagine my sons growing up there. And it always tripped me out how some cats didn't make a better life for their kids. i'm from eny i had good times lol we did sprinklers as kids in miller park, and schenk park. Lions park too. Its calmed down alot. it used to be crazy back in the day but now in my area everybody in bed by 10pm. You got musicians, you got skaters out here. Its so diverse. It be boring out here though lol i wish we had more bars and stuff.
