Do any of you have contacts of interesting characters that want to bring me into Appalachia or the Native American world? If so please email me at: contact@petersantenello.com Thanks!
I was wondering what is so addictive about this channel, for me it seems to be how empathetic and devoid of judgement Peter comes across. Faced with some people who are being ignored, judged and written off, Peter appears to be open to learning about their struggles when even their own governments can't/won't. Incredible journalism from a real human perspective.
Right? Peter is the perfect guy for this. I don't know that there are too many other people who would be able to do what he does, especially the way he comes across and is welcomed by everyone. That's pretty darn awesome. Kudos to you Peter
Peter deserves lots of credit for making this channel. I've watched a few vids already, and this is actual investigative journalism. Not the glitzy and glamorized big-budget productions, but the real deal. I'm loving these vids. Great job, dude.
Videos like this make me wish we could all just wake up one day and never be violent towards each other. From the kids on the playground to the elders just sitting on the benches, everyone deserves to feel safe.
I was born n raised in bk and I'm still there now, idk what it is exactly but this is the first time I don't feel safe when I'm out...even the 80s-90s never felt this dark idk...really sucks though
My parents own Chinese restaurant since 1997 in the neighborhood one by pink houses and one across the street from cypress hill projects . I see a lot of customers in the videos. Mitch is a regular .People here never gave us problems . As long as you show respect , mind your business and give back to the community they will always respect you back .
There is one thing in common with several other videos of yours that the key seems to be people just want to vibe and be easy to one another. Respect and you’ll get respect. I’m hoping we will continue to all get better.
Your spot on the issue is conflict between men is natural and the problem lies in that they choose violence because they almost have to when they need to resolve a problem
That's right "most" people who run into problems no matter where they are hanging with the wrong crowd or asking for it by their actions/words. That doesn't mean you can't run into trouble irregardless but usually you were doing something putting yourself at risk.
I grew up in the 90s in a bad neighborhood of St Petersburg, Russia. Right after the collapse of the Soviet Union. There are differences, of course, but strikingly so many similarities with the NY projects. The vibe is quite familiar
@@NYCQ50 Lots? You've got stats? There were some in a couple of big cities after an international student festival and some from friendly socialist countries. But compared to the population the numbers were tiny. If you didn't work or study at the university, the chances of meeting one live were slim to none
Not gonna lie, I've never heard of this RUclipsr before, even though he has a large channel and following. This video got recommended by the algorithm and I have to say I have such massive respect for this dude for doing this. Subscribed.
i agree, its a fresh view of travel vlogging that usually gets lost in "look how bad this place is!!!" to see these people for who they are and not patronizing them with dumb shit is great.
I started my teaching career in East New York on Shepherd Ave between Blake and Dumont, about 10 minutes for Cypress. Was an education for me for sure. A lot of obstacles those kids face, but also a tremendous amount of resilience and talent amongst them. Honestly, the talent shows always blew me away. My first year I idiotically left my purse with my Iphone and about $60 in cash on a bench in the Shepherd Ave subway station. When I realized what I had done, I came back to the station and asked the attendant if anyone had turned in a purse, and there it was waiting for me. A lot of good people living in very tough conditions.
People respect violence? No they fear violence enough to respect someone who threatens violence. But fear isn’t respect. It’s instinct to protect oneself. Real respect doesn’t need threats. It’s voluntary
@@Star-qh5wp It sounded to me like he was saying that some people don't understand repsect minus violence.Like some people can't be reasoned with and see kindness and respect as weakness. It sounded like hes saying in places that are really rough, people might not respond well to you being nice and respectful, but everyone everywhere understand respect me or get your jaw rocked.
What I like about your style is that you don't judge and go in giving people an opportunity to share their stories. A lot of people just want to be heard and you give them that platform to do so and giving the rest of us an opportunity to see things in a different light.
I've really enjoyed watching these videos to take a glimpse into other people's world's, especially into the toughest corners of humanity and get a real understanding and honestly feel inspired to act. Your approach to interviewing people as an open minded student really shows when people open up and share their message compared to any other time they've seen someone behind the camera with an agenda, an angle for self gain instead of trying to connect people of all walks of life and share the message of peace and hope
Peter, You have gained a new friend my brother. After seeing you help that mother up the stairs with her stroller shows and prove that you are a SOLID AND STAND UP MAN. You were extra focus video recording and listening to Cash story but still took the time out to help that mother. One Love from Port Chester, NY!
@@miamitten1123 That's were your wrong. By genetics alone, we are all attached to each other. Your hate does show clearly though. The people that always gotta make clear the race of someone when talking is why racism will never die out. Poor excuse of an example of a human being with your comments...do better. Be above it.
I grew up in a rough neighborhood within a subsidized housing community. I think it was a blessing and a curse. My experiences growing up created compassion for others but it can also create hopelessness when a person remains in poverty too long. I’m thankful because I had an opportunity to purchase a property and paid off my home last year. Incredibly thankful!
Feel we are creating a culture of people more accepting to failures and that's encouraging more drug addicts and setting the bar lower in American society
Respect - that took sand. It was very interesting hearing such raw and honest opinions - I especially liked that lady who was saying how all cops should not suffer for the actions of some cops, in spite of her personal loss. That was heavy hitting, and in direct contrast to a lot of current social media and political commentary. Awesome !
‼️The peeps who stay in these project living conditions - are there mostly because they love the game, they're part of the violence and druhgz 💉 ❄ 🏔 ‼️ No one can say everyone of these peeps ihn the projects don't have enough money at some time there - to be able tuh use that money to take A bus, plane or just drive 🚗 and keep on driving 🚗 until they find work in a community that excepts them and they accept as well, if they want to raise the possibility of living a full life into their senior years by a great percentage - this is what they need to do - no doubt 👏 👍‼️ NEWCASTLE CALIFORNIA,USA 🇺🇲
@@BIGPIE3333 Agree, leave the projects, hop on a bus, stop in a small town, get a job, get a life. Most small communities across America are open to new people who who want to work hard and make a life for themselves.
@@BIGPIE3333 I think that opinion is more or less delusional or misinformed. Better housing would involve a better credit score, having a job paying a certain amount for at least 6 months and also having the capital to complete a move after having traveled to another place and secured a new job. Many of them dont even have a car or $1000 dollars in the bank. I dont think you know anything about the people who live in projects and I wonder how many times you have just driven to some new state and started a new life. People who live in the projects often knew no other type of housing and were never groomed for any kind of mobility. Only for stagnation by people who like having a dependent voter base.
@@mikesuniverse1789 Gotta agree. These guys posted the dumbest comments ive ever seen on RUclips. Also not everyone is the same in life, some people are smarter or more driven, need valiant people to create a culture of prosperity and not plunder so that people at the bottom are in decent shape.
Channels like this are the ONLY HOPE for our country. Well done, sir. You're showing people that would never encounter this world just how human we all are. Bravo.
You're already out there doing exactly what I want to do once I finish school. You're helping people share their humanity with the world in a way that their humanity can't be denied or ignored. I appreciate your work. It's awesome on so many levels.
I was born in East New York/ Bushwick area. We lived in a 3 family brownstone which my grandparents owned we are very traditional Italians, even had a goomba living with us who I thought was my uncle. The first floor tenants were a black couple who ran a barber shop out of the store front in the same building. My parents left me with these wonderful people all the time, a barbershop with old black men who put up with a blond pigtailed brat..me. My grandfather discovered the barber stabbed to death one morning. The violence of the neighborhood was just like now. We moved to Rockville Centre within a month and my grandparents sold. What's old is new again. The neighborhood was once beautiful. It's up to them.
The shirtless dude had some wisdom to say, beyond the fact that he’s the only person that can walk around shirtless. He was actually talking some truth
You know what makes you special? You know how to get along with folks. Your skin color doesn't matter. You know how to treat people. Appreciate the videos.
"You lack respect then you lack common sense" what another great insight. I've always been fascinated with hiphop from a kid, I notice the change of how the younger generation, my generation lack respect not only for each other but also for the older generation. I love the way Peter can instantly adapt to every environment and still remain to calm, communicative and just.. listen to how others live without showing any form of judgement. So glad I discovered your video (the LA Chicanos) earlier today...
As someone who was born, raised & still reside in rural small town, I find this so amazing. We live in same country but our lives are so extremely different yet I can see so many similarities. Bless everyone & thanks for another awesome video!!
Your life isn't close to how these people live, and thank God u dont... these people are on a serious lower level in so many ways who admit they prey on each other and of course anyone else
He shouted out police that aren’t crooked and acknowledged they need the police for the elders. This is the energy we need. Accountability for police but not 100% hate. Dude has some awesome perspective on life. Hope he roses up and takes his friends and family with him.
Acknowledging that not all police officers are bad people and arguing that the police as an institution (not the concept of policing) is bad are two different things.
@@JSmusiqalthinka Sure, i think anyone can get behind the idea that cops should wear bodycams and be required to provide video proof of their interactions with people, i think with the power they have should come massive responsibility to be fully transparent, but people aren't talking about that, people are talking dumb s*** about getting rid of police and replacing it with f*****g social workers.
Another great video Peter! Thanks! I was slightly disenchanted when the lady needed help with the stroller And the other guy was too busy with his booze, cigar and phone. Looked selfish from my POV! Glad you helped her!
Respect is 🔑. I was very happy to hear what Cashmere said at the end. God is what’s needed, and by all races, backgrounds, etc…. I feel a big change coming. Pray people, we can live in love. God bless you all
@@BKCASHMERETCA my man. Yo, I really appreciated you in this video. The youth need role models like you. I see you responding quickly on my comment. I hope this video brings you new fans and gives you the push you’ve been praying for. New sub, going to listen to your message. One love
Brooklyn is vast; it is very vast. It has many neighborhoods, from Williamsburg to Bushwick and Cobble Hills to Brownsville. Brooklyn by itself could be a major city alone.
@Real Logan I've lived in Bushwick. That Dominican and Puerto Rican thing is slowly going away. They are getting priced out. Unless they own their place, they might sell with profit and move. The trendy Millennials, who can't afford Manhattan or Williamsburg have moved to Bushwick.
I worked as a security guard at Linden Plaza a few years ago I was there for almost 2 years and I'm so glad I made it out alive! Much respect for the people of East New York!
@arthurmorgan8978how could you hold that perspective if you watched the video. just people living their lives the best they can and the way the know how just like everyone else
Lived in Brownsville for a couple of months in 2008. As a South African who's been through some terrible hoods and areas that are way poorer, there were a couple of times we walked Brownsville at night and you could feel its a scary place. We used to finish work 2-3 in the morning then head to tge Mcdonalds in the heart Brownsville and walk down home...Scary neighborhood. Ended up moving to Hells Kitchen.
Everybody in this video was so welcoming and accommodating. Cash gave us such a calm entry point, then Mitchell brought in his next level chakra and left us with a really positive impression. Great video.
@@haydengray5825 No, I've done it. I've gone to Queensbridge projects late at night to see my sister, gone to Brooklyn projects and stayed outside till night. You have to be looking for trouble or moving stupid for something to happen to you in the projects.
Says that people who describe people in the hood, with words like, “everyone in this video are so ‘welcoming and accommodating”, are dumbAF and most likely racist and has zero idea... Hey Matt... Do us all a favor and go down to Skid Row with your camera rolling and let me know how that turns out for you??? I would love to see that... And to be clear... I LOVE MY PEOPLES FROM THE NEIGHBORHOOD BECAUSE I AM FROM THERE... But at the same time, I fucking hate fake ass people like you...
i love this video- showing people being people, everyone’s life isn’t the same. sometimes we all forget that. props to cashmere- seems like a solid dude.
Thank you, Peter, for asking clarifying questions about the lingo that they are using. I admire your attitude of acceptance of all people as you enter other culture's worlds. Thank you for sharing this journey with us!
Good question. I appreciate their willingness to share, but we all have a duty to improve our communities. I pray that more of these men recognize that calling and work to improve theirs.
@@redcomic619 🤣 telling the story just glorifies the youth to do the same. I not only listened to hiphop to gangster rap to drill. When I see people talking about crime now, I keep thinking that none of them can really be from new york cause they don't seem to know what it was like to live in NYC in the 90s
@@OXHAMMERSTONE_NYC true, the kids today have a way out, and have more resources than we did back then. You couldn't even walk the streets alone to school or take the city bus with out risk of being robbed or jumped. So many of us had to click up. My man AIMES is a dope dude. That’s one of my hood friends. We’ve lived around the corner from each other all my life basically. Lol. And he can rap his ass off.
I like how they all just hangin out, drinking alcohol and smoking weed in the middle of the day, but like, they aint kids or teens - they grown men! Shout out to ma man Cashmere, though - a true legend in his own mind!🎉
Mitchell is much wiser then I’m sure he’s ever been given credit for. The man spoke eloquently (In his own way) but was extremely passionate and anyone could understand his points/opinions. Much respect! Cashmere was a cool dude too 👍. Great video.
Yooo when the naked shirt guy cam around and was throwing all the slag words and Peter’s just like the bag? Lmaooo it’s so funny Peter you have a heart of gold
Let me clear my throat and give props to the ppl in the comment section for showing love and respect on this topic of project life and the people living it. I thank Peter for respectfully showing my beautiful black ppl in a positive light. In the projects we have a lot of Albert Einsteins if given a chance. I loved this video took me back in a mental time machine to the 90s....a youngster living life🙂
Im in oz , we mostly only got tv shows slighting on the housing, the police shows.. what makes it nothing about the housing and all about the community strength, the real life we can connect to with respect is cos we have our indigenous peoples stuck relegated like the projects, set into suburbs circled around with pressure of a changing city. We breaking down the walls putting everyone on a levle, globally. We just need better housing initiatives by govt. More independant people more inspiration and more hope black Einstein finds the ground to build back up from. Form the foundations for revolutionary salvation we creating out from the hatin a new home new elevation. Raise up.revelation.
@@ZootZinBootZ Australia's media is run by Murdoch and they show every ugly stereotype about black people. It's simplistic and shallow. Sadly black stereotypes also come from governments as well and they like to dog whistle. So glad Peter does these videos to dispel all the ugly myths about The USA. Peace .
@@alexw3515 nobody is denying that there are plenty of social issues in the hood (in my suburban neighborhood there were plenty of those memorials mainly dedicated to people killed by drunk drivers) but you missed the point that this video is trying to the whole picture the sense of community the kindness of the vast majority of people in these areas
I grew up in Hasidic Williamsburg and we had projects in the neighborhood . High crime and plenty stories around the projects. The rest of the neighborhood was safe. Nowadays it’s a different story. Fighting crime became racist so there was just a hold up by gunpoint outside the main synagogue on Rodney street. I’m glad I moved away. They are getting more brazen by the day.

There are poor white neighborhoods all over America, even trailer parks, they don't go around acting like that and killing people. I grew up in a poor white polish neighborhood near Detroit, everyone was poor and some on government assistant. There was zero violence. This is not normal.
@@LisaLisa815 that's incorrect this is actually very normal across all cities in America whether white or black it's just that whites aren't as police as heavily as darker skin people are which should be known fact by now. I as a member of the East for my entire life can say the violence at one point was worse and now it's much better so it's not as terrible as it seems. Poverty wherever it is, whether we like it or not, encourages crime and that's just a sad reality of the capitalist country we have.
@@LisaLisa815 There are certainly high-violence white, Latino, black, Native, Asian, etc. communities all over the country; they are not all urban, either. Your implication that it is race that makes some people more violent than others is simply misguided.
It's the 'hood,' but everyone's rocking designer gear, iPhones, nice sneakers... And the subway and the streets: hardly a piece of trash on the sidewalk, subways are pretty much spotless. Nobody in a wheelchair, no homeless people anywhere in this video. It's like they have someone come clean up the place before they shoot the video. Women on a bench, all made up, no wrinkles in their clothes, full make up, lookin' good. Brothers spitting philosophical, using words like 'frivolous'. No gunshots, no sirens, no nothing in this video.
I moved away from the East (Sutter Gardens) about 11 years ago. Watching this brings me back, and sharing it helps people on the outside understand the otherwise-hard-to-explain culture I grew up in. Thanks you for this.
@@brianwilson8119 It's not so much a matter of not being able to as much as it is not being in your interest to do so. Walking around without your shirt/flaunting expensive jewelry/making a spectacle of oneself (essentially) in a high-tension and deprived neighborhood demonstrates a level of comfort that most locals refuse to exercise.
Crazy to see this on RUclips. Im from E.N.Y myself right between the 80's and 90's. Growing up their thinking no one cared about us and the only thing of pride we had, we wore like a medal of honor, and it was simply that we survived. But to see this and the homage given to it, is perplexing and goes to show no matter the various backgrounds each of us have there is always something to remind us to be humble.
I love that social media was brought up near the end. People are finally starting to really understand how bad social media is for people, mostly youth. It's so dangerous to have instant uncensored access to the world at such a young age. When I was younger my parents could easily protect me from things that I didn't need to know at that age. I was able to be a kid... It's just not the same anymore.
We grew up in different worlds I guess.. I was a kid in the 70s and 80s, and easily found out about the grittier side of life. There was plenty of access to multiple media even then, albeit a slower process. Porn mags, niche zines, true crime books, heavy metal/punk music, etc etc.
Devils advocate: How does teaching a kid to live in a sheltered version of the world help them to function in the real world? Wouldn't it be better for them to see things how things really are while they are at the most receptive age for your guidance?
Having been born and raised in London 1979. Personally, It's nice to be able to see the places that I've heard about so many times through music and films over the decades. Putting faces with names, so to speak. Thankyou sir for taking us on these journeys. ☯️🙏
Thanks Peter for showing us places we never would have seen otherwise. Honestly it was much nicer than I thought it would be and the people were friendly.
That's because you have been brainwashed by the media, and right wing politicians who make their $$$ stereotyping the neighborhood and the people who live there.
The concept of your work is refreshing. The stark contrast between this location and your Appalachian locations is remarkable. But each displays a pride in where they're from.
That lady talking about police reform she was on point. Amazing how when you don't get what the birdfeeder feeds you (mainstream media) and go right to the source, Americans are all EXTREMELY alike.
I try my hardest to be open and accepting of all, but my own ignorance sometimes makes it difficult. I appreciate your videos and the efforts you make to educate people like myself who try to be open to everyone.
@Genn Jeets it's not easy. Your first thoughts come on and you have to just let them pass. The more you let them pass, the less they come. The Amish episodes killed me. I have zero negative to say or think about them or their way of life, but after he sat there and talked with them a while, their no different than any of us really. Moving along in life, like we all are.
@Genn Jeets my turning point was having a medically fragile special needs son and saw how people looked at him. It did not take me long to realize I might be doing that to others.
I’m from Tennessee but Ms. Wandra, thanks for doing what you are doing. You might be the last person someone meets that gives them that little bit of strength to keep going one more day.
Thanks for sharing. I grew up in Cypress Hills, East NY Brooklyn. I still go back to visit some family here and there. We didn't grow up in the projects so I don't know exactly where this is, but it has to be just minutes from where I grew up. It was a rough upbringing.
Mitchell straight-up said so many things I align with, damn! We need more genuine people who care not for their image in other's eyes, but move true to one-self, strong with integrity. The more people on this level, the better the society. So many of our youth are in need of proper guidance and I know for a damn fact that's not going to come from social media or public schooling. We need real people, real leaders, to be role models and do what is right. Actions speak louder than words, and all these politician's words shallow as hell. Bless up to all those enduring the trials of life, keeping positive, and spreading the love. We need that energy now more than ever!
Thanks to rap culture I think people in the hood care about image more than reality. Go to hoods here in Florida and you see a lot of nice cars parked outside dirty not taken care of houses for example
Kashmir and mitchel are on point with the energy and communication. These two tools are needed. As a new Yorker I am happy to hear these two guys talking common sense.
We rocking with Peter bc peters rocking with us. Seriously though, mad respect. I love how respectful he is going into different communities. Also I’m cracking up bc of all the AAVE and Peter doesn’t always understand lol He didn’t know what duckin shots was or what “the gutter” is. Haha love Peter.
I grew up in East New York, during the worse times. I was born in 1970s and lived in this area from 1983- 1994. I have seen violence that active duty soldiers have not witnessed. I have witnessed first hand the crack epidemic, Aids epidemic, and the beginning of gang life in Brooklyn. I can tell you also, there is love, laughter, respect, and a want and desire to succeed just like any other human being from people who have survived that era. If you want to know what East New York needs, they told you implicitly resources. But if you want to expand on that I could tell you that people in this neighborhood are some of the most generous people on earth and all they need is opportunity. Everyone has an aspiration to fulfill the American Dream. Creating jobs in the community is the best way to help people. Imagine, having manufacturing, and training in East New York. Real jobs for real people that want to propel themselves. We invest so much of our resources on bullets and bombs for the Ukraine, we invest in prisons, but we need to invest on our brethren in East New York. What are the jobs of the right now? Poor people are the hardest workers on earth. Lets push for schools to have customer service jobs in the schools where girls and boys can learn phone etiquette. Why are these jobs shipped to India? or other countries? We have untapped labor force right here. Why not create a teenage workforce to grow food in these food deserts and pay them. Why don't we have real training for people available in this community? Like HVAC training, electrician, mechanical, computer programming, engineering. Talent is spread across the entire community. This community doesn't need nickels and dollars, they need opportunities to change their life. Real Economic opportunities. That is what East New York needs. Police reform is needed. I believe that anyone who wants to be a sergeant or higher in the police force should be required to live in a poor neighborhood for a period of 60 days. They need to eat their, sleep their and learn how to communicate with the people that live in poor communities. If the police leadership is good, that leadership filters down to the police force. Good attitudes are learned by the rank and file form their leaders. I made it out of poverty, but being poor is not a sin and in many instances it isn't even a choice. Ask your self why do people commit most crimes? Most crimes are crimes of financial gain. Imagine if that financial gain could be sought and readily available to the people of East New York? These are some of the most industrious people on earth.
"We invest so much of our resources on bullets and bombs for the Ukraine"- government invest on it, because they'll get tons of money back. Either of gun trafficking and Ukraine has a huge export of agriculture products and USA want to put a hand on it as well as Russia. "Why are these jobs shipped to India?"- because the salary is much lower there. "Why don't we have real training for people available in this community?"- because it's harder to control educated people by the media. At least this is my opinion. "I made it out of poverty" - I did it too and know how difficult it is, so congrats, I hope the best for you in the future!
Just wanna say God bless you Peter for going around and showing people a diffetrent side of life. Less judgement will always come from the light being shown on certain things

Great video, Peter (as always)! I actually worked in East New York/Canarsie for 3 years right near where you were and I gotta say that I never had a problem. I'd walk about half a mile from the Subway 2x a day and I'd pass a methadone clinic and walk through the projects to get to work. Not a single person bothered me ever. Not saying this proves anything one way or another, but just sharing my experience.
@@sherbangash6523 I think it may a case of "degrees of separation" , as in it may have depended on in what circles you move in, like whare I live in the UK there is something called "county lines" (big city drug dealers running coke among other things to the country side and smaller towns) I personally wasn't involved in any of it, but because of who I knew I witnessed drug deals (partly by accident... Just sort of walked up on a guy I knew in the middle of the act, but because he knew me it was fine) and knew more than a few dealers... It's calmed down a fair amount now though (this was all 4 years ago) I moved since then, plus the pandemic it's calmed down quite. Bit...but then that's only if you knew about it...to most people whare I live is very quiet and not much happens...

I love how you do these videos man. It humanize people from the projects so much. These people are aware, understand their issues, and honestly, they need to be treated like any other person. I would NOT know about any of this because I'm too scared to go to those areas and a person like me would get eaten in these areas because I can't play the "game". Thanks to your videos, I get to see a part of the country I've always wanted to learn more about but never got a chance to.
They don’t fuck with white ppl in the projects, reason being they know how hard the police will come down on them. Very bad for business. Don’t get me wrong you’ll have that one crazy who doesn’t care who’s who. But for the most part they’re untouchable
@@yesterdayproductions1019 that is a dumb take. Everyone has certain things that are a “waste of time” for them. As a society, we too quickly judge others for labels we place in them. I’ve made a lot of mistakes in my lifetime, big ones that i regret a lot and feel ashamed about. Society only benefits those who perform at the top and get the stupid degrees. In other words, they reward perfectionism and those that know the system and play the “game” well. My parents were immigrants. They didn’t teach me to do well in the U.S. educational system. I have a rough life and honestly, I’ve been doing the best I could with what I have. Some of these people come from broken homes and they came into the wrong influences and they also were doing the best they could with their situation. Does that excuse any crimes they commit? no. But, honestly, they’re not that different from the rest of us. Put any human in a similar situation and you probably would see the same result.

Faced with some people who are being ignored, judged and written off, Peter appears to be open to learning about their struggles when even their own governments can't/won't. Incredible journalism from a real human perspective.

Many of them dont even have a car or $1000 dollars in the bank.
I dont think you know anything about the people who live in projects and I wonder how many times you have just driven to some new state and started a new life.
Blacks love it! Keep BLM strong!
Why is nobody else able to walk around with their shirt off? Is it a sign of "aggression", "spotlighting", or similar act? That was interesting.
My sister Keisha still lives with her sons there and my dad lived there before passing away I would visit from jersey city
Sutter Gardens.. was no joke.. looks friendly.. but GdLuck.. if u think so
@@brianwilson8119 It's not so much a matter of not being able to as much as it is not being in your interest to do so.
I grew up in the Boston projects and what I realize is that we all struggle the same
RUclips is Social Media.

How does teaching a kid to live in a sheltered version of the world help them to function in the real world?
Wouldn't it be better for them to see things how things really are while they are at the most receptive age for your guidance?

I have always loved how new Yorkers talk over each other while still being present to one another. It's extraordinarily rare in the world.
Having been born and raised in London 1979. Personally, It's nice to be able to see the places that I've heard about so many times through music and films over the decades. Putting faces with names, so to speak. Thankyou sir for taking us on these journeys. ☯️🙏
ENY taught me how to appreciate a good neighborhood. Glad I'm able to give my kids a better life.

More alike than different. Peace
The question she was asked though was, "What is the solution to the violence?" The police aren't the solution - the family is the solution.
I try my hardest to be open and accepting of all, but my own ignorance sometimes makes it difficult. I appreciate your videos and the efforts you make to educate people like myself who try to be open to everyone.
Well at least you try to know about something before commenting on it 🤷🏽♀️ and for the record some things should not be accepted
Dude complete respect for you man
At least you can admit it and try to grow. Kudos to you
I’m from Tennessee but Ms.

@commercializedhip-hopisdea1019 He need to learn what a chakra is. It's not energy. Chakras are individual energy centres in the body.
Loved listening to Mitchell speak on this. He is right we need communication and understanding of each other bc we are lost

Peter often asks those questions to get the person to elaborate for the viewers, not because he's completely clueless.

I ubered all over nyc including East New York/Canarsie at late night.. never had problem either..
Does that excuse any crimes they commit? no.
