From off, you can long press the side switch for the low output. Also, the PT16 has a self lockout which takes place after 1 minute after shutting off. You can manually do it as well by pressing the side switch 3 times

That's interesting, mine did none of that. Maybe next time Brinyte will send me the actual flashlight instead of the generic test model with half the features not available with an extremely vague instruction manual. Part of my testing process is to go through every known button push to see what that flashlight can do. I tried all of those combinations and unfortunately none of them applied to this model. I'm not saying that what you said is inaccurate , I'm just saying that for some odd reason it's not working like that on my particular model. Thanks for the comment.
