Does anyone else have a fascination with space they just can’t put into words? I’ve had multiple people ask why I love space so much and I can’t explain it… I just do
I think I love it so much because of its sheer scale. Space is everything. We are insignificant to it. It's too immense for us to fathom, yet it's the future of our species. We were born from the stars, and are bound, someday, to return to them.
I checked the "zoom into andromea" and all i think is that there is so much out there, and that image is just a little part of which is unexplainable. I love how we learn about things, even when we are too small with limited brain capacity. These type of images including the "pale blue dot" makes me realise that problems are too small and all i can enjoy is by being happy. ❤
Astrokobi: "Here's my favorite photo of Earth. It's like a big family photo" (elaborates on how emotional it is and I'm too lazy to write it all) Astrokobi 1min later: "There's astronaut poo on the Moon"

As an aerospace engineer, I believe there are aliens who can travel faster than light. While not possible in our theories, our theories have proven us wrong many times, which makes me think outside the box.
I mean there’s 100% some alien species out there especially because the chance of all our species on earth being the only species in the entire universe is just impossible
What you create an black hole on earth and u put ur finger inside would u still be power full enough to take ur hand out And yes I will like my own comment because nobody else will 😅
If you fell through a hole going through the earth, you would not come out the other side.. what kinda cartoon math did you use for that. Let's say you're immortal, air resistance alone would make it impossible to keep such momentum, not to mention the deeper you get, the stronger the gravity gets, which would hold you in place. It would be like falling next to a magnet, once you reach the middle you are stuck.
In 3:00 the diamond core planet is named wasp 12b. It is almost 2X bigger than jupiter and orbits a star named wasp 12, a similar yellow dwarf star to our sun only .29 solar radius more massive.
Great vid. One clarification about what's next for Voyager 1 as far as position. As you said, it will take thousands (30k?) to get through the oort cloud. But, it's not heading towards any other star, really. In fact, right now, its less than 1 light year from our star, the sun. As you said, it will get within 1.4 light years of another stay way into the future, but that's not really close. The problem is, space is empty. And, stars are really (really) far apart - such that Voyager 1 is not going to get to or near any other star. I would like to learn what its orbit will be like long term. Will it orbit the center of our galaxy or perhaps there is some center of mass somewhere it will orbit? Is this even known?
7:29 This made me think, what if when we are seeing the andromeda galaxy which is like a lot of light years away, what if its in the past (because of how light travels) and it has already merged with another galaxy or perhaps our galaxy? And we haven't realized because of the time travel fact... Idk if this would be true but definitely the coolest fact i have seen

A black hole with Earth's mass, about the size of a coin or ice cube _would_ actually be dangerous. Maybe the event horizon wouldn't be very far out, but the gravitational influence would be tremendous, it's the same reason a stellar mass black hole spaghettifies objects before they cross the event horizon but you can survive crossing the event horizon of a supermassive black hole (at least for 30 seconds before you end up spaghettified anyway). The Earth mass black hole would become gravitationally attracted to Earth and begin consuming it as the Earth's remains orbited it as it consumed swathes of mass from within, eventually messing with the orbit of the moon and even affecting the asteroid belt due to the increased mass of what used to be Earth. However, a black hole created in a lab would indeed be harmless. A proton-mass black hole would use up all of its Hawking radiation too quickly to do any damage and at most it might destroy the collider. To do any kind of serious damage, it'd need to be coin-mass, it emitting all of its Hawking radiation would be like three times that of the nukes dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki combined, but it'd be incomprehensibly small, it'd be as much smaller than a proton than a proton is than the sun. PS: Time travel being real is indeed awesome. Imagine a human alien girl from another galaxy when she's 17 has a 12 year old friend she met on Earth, then she comes back to Earth at age 22 and finds he's 39 due to miscalculations in space travel. From her perspective, they were only separated for five years but from his perspective for 27 years they were apart.
So when we look at andromeda, we are seeing what was there 2.5 million years ago, because it is 2.5 million light years away… maybe there are fully populated planets just like ours or even more advanced civilizations and it’s impossible for us to see it right now.
It’s going to be okay, man 🫂 The universe is unimaginably large, yet we’re lucky enough to live in a place we can have loving pets, delicious food, beautiful nature, and great music. Life can be pretty great when you focus on the good shit 🙌
It actually makes me a little disappointed that yea time travel may be real, and aliens may be real too, but from that far away, watching us as ancient civilians, killing each other, the aliens would definitely be disappointed, thus making them never want to visit our planet.

1:52 does this mean that the more higher someone goes (higher altitude), earths gravity has less influence?
Yes, as the equation for the effect of gravity is something like G x (mass1 x mass2 / d^2)
Basically the more distance the less force.
Yes, this continues until it doesn't affect anymore, i.e., you leave the Earth's gravitational sphere of influence
@@Alien3000 There is no limit to Earth's influence. It just gets exponentially smaller with distance but the force never reaches 0.
