Thank you for sharing, I haven't had a boyfriend in over 2 years. Dating now is hard, no one wants to wait or honor God in dating anymore... It's rough out here
When the timing is right, the Lord will place a man of honor and good integrity in your path who will be the perfect fit for you. I met my husband 11 years ago. He was 27 and had intentionally never been in a relationship. He saved himself completely for me. He had several female friends over the years, who he had considered as possibilities for pursuing, but he always just stayed friends while getting to know them. As each of those friendships revealed that him and the woman weren’t the Lord’s plan for each other, they agreed to remain friends and were able to do so because they had never crossed boundaries emotionally or physically. I desired to have a man who wanted what the Lord wanted in his life; a man who wanted to wait, because the Lord wanted him to wait (not just a man who was willing to wait because it was what I valued... I wanted it to be his value, too). I wouldn’t have minded if he had a past where he had not waited, but had then come to know the Lord and had put that past behind him. That would have been fine with me, because I know the redemptive work of Jesus and I wanted someone who was currently right with the Lord and desired to do things His way. When I came into my husband’s life, I was new to the area and ended up in a Bible study he was leading. We spent a few months getting to know each other in the context of a group setting, while we spent time with the friends from the Bible study (both during the Bible study, and on weekends, just for fellowship). Through that season, we really got to know one another without any pressure or trying to impress each other, because we were just friends. It gave me insight into his personality, because I was able to see him interacting with our friends, not just myself. And none of it was under the guise of us “liking” each other. Through our friendship, I found out that he had never been in a relationship and had been saving himself (heart, soul and body) for his wife. As it turns out, the Lord’s plan was for him to be with me. I was amazed that this man had not only remained pure, physically, but that he had chosen not to arouse or awaken love in his heart by entering a relationship he couldn’t see ending in marriage. It was such a gift the Lord gave me, beyond what I had even dared to ask for. I had not met any man before that who was interested in saving himself for marriage. When we married, my husband was 30 years old. We waited until our wedding night and have never regretted it. So be encouraged because men of honor and good integrity are out there; it just takes patience and trusting the Lord to write your love story. The right man for you will value what the Lord values and will match you perfectly. He won’t chose to wait, simply because you want to, but he will want that for himself (even if he has a history in the past where he has not waited, and then got his heart right with the Lord and was washed clean). What matters is that he will be growing in his relationship with the Lord and will desire to do things the Lord’s way from the beginning of your relationship on. Be blessed and I pray the Lord fills your heart while you are waiting and that He remains your first love even when your wait for your spouse is over. That is one thing I love about my season of being single... my relationship with the Lord became so solid and real and close that even in marriage, I still love spending time with Him... just He and I. I pray this for you as well. 💗💕
Being in my 30s and I take a no time to waste approach, difficult topics to find out you even make it to a second date - CHILDREN, POLITICS, RELIGION, MONEY, ETC.

Nate & Sutton....you ROCK! Appreicate y'all. Much love! I think a good question is: Can you share one of your favorite God adventures? Another: What is your favorite book in the bible and why. Lastly: Can you share about any dreams on your heart that you would like to see become a reality.

As a child, what did you want to be/do when you grew up? And What has been your favourite job? And Who inspires you? And Who would you most like to have a cuppa/coffee with (living or dead)? (And many more! 😄)
In asking about someone's faith, ask them the Ultimate Questions: Where did we come from? What is our purpose for living? Are we here for a purpose? What is our ultimate destiny? These can help derermine someone's beliefs beyond the vague term 'Christianity' or just simply believing in Jesus. ☺

What is your life verse (if you have one)? And What is one of your favourite verses? And Which is your favourite book of the Bible? And Who is your favourite biblical character? And What is one of your favourite biblical stories?
I don’t believe we’re entitled to all of that info about someone that soon. A lot of those questions are deeply personal. I understand that its getting to know one another but it should be taken slowly. In a similar way that physical connections are slowly built I think emotional ones should follow suit.

5. "Describe yourself in three words."
6. "What has been your greatest failure?"
7. "What has been your greatest achievement?"
8. "Walk me through a day in your life."
9. "If you had to think happy thoughts in order to fly, what would you think about?"

12. "What do you look for in a significant other?"

@@nateandsutton thanks❤
can you make a video about dating in high school? pros, cons, boundaries, knowing if he/she is right/worth it, etc.?
Love from David to this channel. Healthy dates lead to healthy partners. Healthy partners to love and happiness evermore
Being in my 30s and I take a no time to waste approach, difficult topics to find out you even make it to a second date - CHILDREN, POLITICS, RELIGION, MONEY, ETC.
I have my first, first date in 24 years tonight! I'm beyond nervous! But I'm good at hiding it....I think! Hope some of these questions work!
Nice work on the solo vid! Really enjoyed some of these questions, and I also value leaving an interaction knowing more about the other person. People wanna be known and heard, I think it means a lot to some people maybe even without them realizing it.
Sutton, these are so cute. Thank you ❤️
Nate & Sutton....you ROCK! Appreicate y'all. Much love! I think a good question is: Can you share one of your favorite God adventures? Another: What is your favorite book in the bible and why. Lastly: Can you share about any dreams on your heart that you would like to see become a reality.
Those are all great ones!
These questions are way too deep for a first date
Love these questions! I wrote a few down on my phone to remember them😊
😉
Thankyou very much Nate and Sutton,
I never really know how to come up with qtns on the first date, I have learned so much from this video, it will be of good use in my life. Thankyou ❤️
Amen! These are some great questions. Love you guys!😁😁😁
Thanks Sutton! Looking forward to watching. :]
I plan on going on a date/hangout out in 2 weeks, I’ll try to remember to let y’all know how the questions went
Love that you guys have been posting ❤
I like walk me through ur day and happy thoughts one to fly. Happy thoughts one probably involve food and vacations.
Yes! Def true for me 😅🙌🏽
I don't know if I would be going on a second date after so many hard questions back to back
If I was on the receiving end
You did great Sutton! ❤️❤️❤️ I miss seeing you guys just sitting down and talking about topics like these...but it's still nice to see activities in your lives~!
Sit down video coming this Sunday!!
I'm super glad you decided to make this video early and even if it was solo. I'm hanging out with an old guy friend this Saturday for the first time since the pandemic started, this will be perfect
As a child, what did you want to be/do when you grew up?
And
What has been your favourite job?
And
Who inspires you?
And
Who would you most like to have a cuppa/coffee with (living or dead)?
(And many more! 😄)
In asking about someone's faith, ask them the Ultimate Questions: Where did we come from? What is our purpose for living? Are we here for a purpose? What is our ultimate destiny?
These can help derermine someone's beliefs beyond the vague term 'Christianity' or just simply believing in Jesus. ☺
These are great. Thank you! I feel so awkward sometimes on dates, so this helps!
These are great questions! Thanks
I’m a Christian and I am of the age to go ever on my 1st date this is gonna help
I like the question, “do you want to play the question game?”
Lol I’m gonna have to borrow that one 😉
I like most of them.. others felt too much like an interview. I will use your suggestions on asking hard questions.
Thanks 👍🏽
Good questions, even for non-Christians!
Going on a date at 5:30! Kind of nervous but this was a nice little refresher! Thank you😊
how did it go
@@OurStoryEsp It went super well! Went and got coffee and walked around downtown in my town for 2 hours! She has to go back to college tomorrow but I think she’s down to go on another date when she’s back for spring break!
@@QuestionEverything17 I'm glad to hear that 😄
if I meet my unknown future hubby one day I'd surely ask these questions 💕
Thnks Sis, for those truly valuable ones.....
I do that a lot with the guys I talk to. I can’t wait to watch this!
Hey! Thank you so much for this video! It’s soo helpful!
This is a great Q And A Video 🙌😃
I feel like some of these are more second or third date questions
Thanks Sutton!! This was super helpful
Don't have a date...never been on a date😂 but this is so helpful..thanks Sutton
Some of these were great. Thank you ❤
These are great questions to ask. Thanks for the help😁
Honestly I’d rather ask all the hard questions first only because I don’t want to waste my time 😂
What is your life verse (if you have one)?
And
What is one of your favourite verses?
And
Which is your favourite book of the Bible?
And
Who is your favourite biblical character?
And
What is one of your favourite biblical stories?
Thank you Sutton! These are great questions!
This are actually really good.
Thank you!
Thanks Sutton! That was a goooood one! Just can't wait to go on my first date!
i love these questions...not dating but. i'll save em...i'm a really deep person too lol thanks for these
I love this so much! So helpful, thank-you!
I don’t believe we’re entitled to all of that info about someone that soon.
A lot of those questions are deeply personal. I understand that its getting to know one another but it should be taken slowly.
In a similar way that physical connections are slowly built I think emotional ones should follow suit.
Amazing video with great questions, thanks!!
These are good questions! I think I’m gonna have fun asking friends and maybe a future date some of these 😆
These are really good questions, thanks Sutton!😘
