If you are a true Patriot, you will come here, see, support, have even more respect and honor for OUR United States Marines! I was here with my family in 2010 the morning of them discovering of the sniper shooter. I was interviewed and asked if I was scared. I said absolutely not! This Museum is absolutely amazing! If you ever have the chance to go, please go. I can't wait for another trip to come here. My grandpa is Gunny Alfredo Eggleston United States Marine Vet WWII. He will be celebrating his 90th birthday in February. Hoorah Marines Semper Fi
This is truly a awesome place. My daughter and I went there in 2016 and it was great. So much to see and learn from this. My dad and brother were both marines and proud to have been. Even no one of my son’s was navy for 9 years and another Army 9 years and still active duty, ill always hold a special place in my heart for the marines. God bless the military yesterday, today and tomorrow.
My compliments to the folks behind the scenes who have tirelessly helped to keep the history of my beloved MARINE CORPS alive and kicking. I now have a new number one item on my bucket list and that is obviously to "go home" and experience what I already believe to be the greatest museum this country has and will ever know. God Bless the USA and God Bless the UNITED STATES MARINE CORPS. EW RAH & SEMPER FI
I had the pleasure of visiting the Marine Corps Museum recently. I hope all OCS candidates and all recruits have an opportunity to experience the Corps as this outstanding museum presents. OORAH.....

Thank you for this great tour, now high on my bucket list. My spirit and love of the Marines started by knowing Charles E. McCune, Johnstown, PA. He served in World War 11 and was highly decorated by the Corp. I always thought his eyes glistened, rather smiling. Charlie had a glass eye for keeping the enemy back in Japan and eliminating many of the enemy. My continued love came in Franklin Borough, Johnstown, PA, where Michael Strank was born, one of six who placed our flag on Iwo Jima.
The 13 dislikes were from traitors to this country! I've been to this museum only once but I'll tell you what it is beyond incredible, beyond amazing, and beyond outstanding it is just awesome. The day I was there a Lt Col was retiring and it was such a special day and a visit, I got to thank several Marines for their service and see a museum that won't be fully complete until 2030, but still a place of great history from the earliest battles the Marines fought in to our current wars, it was a place I look forward to returning to many times in the future!
This week my dad and I will be visiting this lovely place. I love visiting. It is my second home. Even though I never served in the beloved Marine Corp. Due to having seizures I was never allowed to become a Marine. The closes I've ever been to becoming a Marine is being a Young Marine.
I went here with my father when I was 16, and along with him it helped to inspire me to pursue the marine corps. I really hope that they'll take me because I never got the chance to finish high school and I only have a GED, But I will differently do whatever I can to have the opportunity to serve with my favorite branch.

As a black male here in the United States I have to thank my beloved Marine Corps. Because as those that may know we have a problem with crime in this nation. We label people by race when it comes to crime. But when it comes to those moments when a mistake can be made in that flash of a moment when it comes to that moment when the judge asks you did you think before you did what you did sir when you committed that crime. My answer would be yes and the judge would ask what did you think sir? My answer would be my I thought of my beloved Marine Corps I can not Dishonor my Beloved Marine Corps. Most would not understand most would say it's crazy. But I'm not in prison I'm not on probation I have my Civil Rights my Constitutional Rights. I can say that as a black male I can be looked upon as a positive role model. Everyday for the last 45 years since I earned that Eagle Globe & Anchor I eat sleep and think of my beloved Marine Corps don't ask me why I can't explain I've lost 2 wife's but gained so much more in life when it comes to the simple things. The Corps taught me that. The Corps taught me respect for others. The Marine Corps taught me so much but most of all it taught that I am a United States Marine ever day for the rest of my life Nad no one can take that away! HAPPY 247 BIRTHDAY UNITED STATES MARINE CORPS. Ava8harrierusmc1
Visited today. What I enjoyed was the Marines visiting. I hesitate to say young Marines out of respect to them. The are as much a man as I am at my age. So impressed with the respect ingrained in them. You just don't meet people like Marines. I was so humbled as an old Marine given so much respect when I had the respect for them. Confession. I was a so called old Core. Not many females. The ones present changed my attitude. It's been a progression but females are providing themselves and have earned my respect. Forgive my scepticism.
Glad you had a great time, Sir. Our Corps is constantly evolving ang growing. We have to adapt and overcome. We'll grow bigger and better, I promise you! So glad you had a fun day!
At 10:13, the video shows a Marine saluting. However, his epaulette is sticking out over his collar. My wife and I have been there. Awesome and much has been added since we were there.
Seeing the Korean gallery especially when in the cold room with the devil dogs on the mountain,it gave me chills it shows that frozen chozen was too cold to be hell but it was
Man I miss the Corps. I never been there but I am going to. I been out since 2007. Not a day goes by I would give all what I have to be back in. I live in Iowa and after watching this. A very needed bike trip is to come.
I was there in 2016.l also made a donation for ground breaking ceremony years early. They send me a little shouvlel with a globe and anker to put on my uniform.

Few people realize that when John Brown and his supporters took over the Federal Arsenal at Harper's Ferry , it was U.S. Marines under the command of then Colonel Robert E Lee who counter attacked and captured Brown
We; my classmates in 7th grade, just visited the Museum; it is a very great place to visit.. And the people models are so realistic.. :( ... I wanna go soon again and it is in Quantico, Virginia.
Visited this amazing place after our Washington visit. So AMAZING. You guys pulled up these mini robots at the entrance. Nice mini robots. So I asked one Marine at the Entrance, "How can I be a better American?" and his response was, "carry a flag." Alright back to citizenship: Innovation is two already invented inventions together. I grew up in Maryland (Montgomery County) and never got to see this before I left the area and moved to Florida. How odd. Well, I also never got up the Washington Monument or to Arlington either. I just never got around to it. Maybe someday I can go there, and I can show my husband (who, admittedly, is an Army veteran).
Looks impressive and I've heard good things about it. I did truly love the very intimate M.C. Museum located at the old Marine Barracks adjacent to the Washington Naval Yard. I must plan a trip to see it.
Nice museum! Gives me a lot of pride having served with the deadliest fighting force on Planet Earth, (Notice the globe is in our logo...do the math!). Granted, I was a bit contrarian and didn't actually engage the enemy in combat. Instead, I saved a Marine's life serving as 2D ANGLICO as their Water Safety Survival Instructor, (safety swimmer) during on jump-op at LeJeune. It happens!
I am finishing a book called The Secret Camera, about a China Marine who was stationed at a rifle and machine gun range subsidiary base in northern China, before the bombing of Pearl Harbor. It was during the era of the Boxer Rebellion and the American embassy in Peking had a Marine Embassy Guard detachment (what the movie "55 Days At Peking" is based on). General Puller may have been there at the same time or close to it. There was another town/city that had Marines and also this firearms range base the author of the book was stationed at. After the bombing of Pearl Harbor, which the author and his compatriots didn't hear of until the next day, they were waiting for orders as to what they were supposed to do. Interestingly, the Japanese Army already had troops in China for their China war. In fact there was a Japanese Army unit of about 40,000 stationed near the range the author was part of. There were 40 Marines in the unit. The Marines didn't have much interaction with them prior to the start of the war. They saw the Japanese heavy hand with Chinese civilians in the town nearest the base, but could not say anything. Subsequently, the unit was ordered to comply with the Japanese. Generally, the Marines in China were considered part of the Embassy and there was an agreement that the embassy personnel would be returned to the states. The Range personnel did not seem to fall into that category and were ordered to comply with the Japanese Army. The author and his fellow Marines became prisoners of war from December 8, 1941 to the end of the war in a prison camp in Japan. They were POW's for the 'entire war.'
The Marines I have seen around the world have the cleanest bodies, the filthiest minds, the highest morale, and the lowest morals of any group of animals I have ever seen. Thank God for the United States Marine Corps. Eleanor Roosevelt
I was there in 2011. It was really impressive. Sadly the Tun Tavern was to full and I can't go in. Next time, when I'm close I want to go there again. Feek's like comming home but I never had the opinion to serve. I'm born in the wrong land.
It is such a great museum! I went with my Marine husband & learned a lot that day. I have so many fun pictures to keep as memories from that day. We also got to see the presidents own band

I’m a grandson to a Marine and he was like an 0312 Machine Gunner and he served more than 20 years in the Marines and he was stationed at Camp Lejeune and he fought in the Vietnam war and he never talked about the war and he finished as an E-9 (Master Gunnery Sergeant) and ever since I was little I’ve always wanted to be a Marine and he gave me his Purple Heart and he was shot three times one in his leg one his shoulder and one that hit his radio but my grandfather never talked about the Vietnam war so I never asked him about it and I have three reasons why I’ve always wanted to be a Marine
1 - because I saw all the marine corps commercials
2 - because I want to honor my grandfather as a Marine because he was a Marine himself for more than 20 years
3 - I want to fight for the fallen brothers and sisters that died in Kabul Afghanistan on August 26 2021

Happy that I visited the museum after running the 17.75k
This is truly a awesome place. My daughter and I went there in 2016 and it was great. So much to see and learn from this. My dad and brother were both marines and proud to have been. Even no one of my son’s was navy for 9 years and another Army 9 years and still active duty, ill always hold a special place in my heart for the marines. God bless the military yesterday, today and tomorrow.
My wife and I came across this museum in our wanderings through northern Virginia. Very impressive!
OORAH.....
I live about 30 minutes away and been to the Marine Museum many times. It's such a magnificent place to visit.
"Oh yeah. That's Chesty Puller. I knew him, no big deal". Lol
+Darga Tal I consider those that have dishonored the Corps by their actions as former Marines.
+Alton Kenneth Jones-Easton, I commented on this before I went to boot camp. I'm a month into my mos school, so you'll have to excuse me but I have no idea who you are talking about in your last sentiment.

I loved working on these exhibits in my day working at Explus. It makes me so proud. Thank you.
My mom served at Cherry Point during WWII.
She was incredibly proud of her service.
My grandfather fought in Vietnam and he served in the Marines for more than 20 years
This place is great! When I walked in my jaw dropped, I had the biggest smile on my face. So many pieces of Marine heritage!

@@kahoaliiaiu7130 Semper Fi. You have so much energy and so much heart. I know you want to do it...but collect yourself first.
No drugs, right? You got a High School diploma (or GED), right? No gang affiliation? No racial hatred?
Then you can come right in, amigo. The world is your oyster as long as you don't got baggage.
Once a Marine Always A Marine! I proudly served from 1974 to 1976!
I was here over the spring and this place is awesome. Heading to the Army museum later this summer.
Absolutely, Sir. Come back again and again! What a great Honor it is to have you!
I'm a former Army vet and I love that comment. Good one. :-)
My family and I went this year and were just blown away with all the history of the Corps and details of the exhibits there!!!!! Semper Fi!!!
Never got to see it after my sons graduation in 2015 from ocs. I’ll make the trip soon ! 1 hell of a man he is ! Usmc leader ! 🇺🇸
I'm gonna have to visit this museum 1987-1991 Semper Fi, also my two son's enlisting right now same time brotherly love!!!
No such thing as former Marine...
Dl De Vera once a marine, always a marine
Dl De Vera are u an actual Drill Instructor?
Yes there is You idiot
Ret., yut, rah.
Jack Ross No, there’s retired Marines, not former.
This week my dad and I will be visiting this lovely place. I love visiting. It is my second home. Even though I never served in the beloved Marine Corp. Due to having seizures I was never allowed to become a Marine. The closes I've ever been to becoming a Marine is being a Young Marine.
The 4 dislikes were from The army, the navy, the air force, and the coast guard.
*hillary supporters...
that would be what the other 3 dislikes are from...
Lol
...😂😂😅🤣!!!!
No it could just be anyone
I went here with my father when I was 16, and along with him it helped to inspire me to pursue the marine corps. I really hope that they'll take me because I never got the chance to finish high school and I only have a GED, But I will differently do whatever I can to have the opportunity to serve with my favorite branch.
Even though I am not in the Marines or ever served in the Marines before, I would like to visit this museum because I like military stuff.
I have had the pleasure of living close by to this wonderful museum. It is truly inspiring to say the least.

Marines are the best!
OUTSTANDING! I have to visit the Museum.

Was down there about 6 years ago, since then the trail has been complete and more updates have occurred. I have to get back there!
Oohrah and Semper Fidelis, Marines!
Few people realize that when John Brown and his supporters took over the Federal Arsenal at Harper's Ferry , it was U.S. Marines under the command of then Colonel Robert E Lee who counter attacked and captured Brown
Really a great museum with very realistic displays...

We; my classmates in 7th grade, just visited the Museum; it is a very great place to visit.. And the people models are so realistic.. :( ... I wanna go soon again and it is in Quantico, Virginia.
Jade Pellesco that's funny like what type of School would bring you here well it is a good place to go but a school would bring you
It's not in it's just outside the front gate
Visited this amazing place after our Washington visit. So AMAZING. You guys pulled up these mini robots at the entrance. Nice mini robots. So I asked one Marine at the Entrance, "How can I be a better American?" and his response was, "carry a flag." Alright back to citizenship: Innovation is two already invented inventions together. Let's get to millions to fund out Marine non profit organizations. - love you forever - Henri

I hope this museum lasts 200 years and many more after.

Thank you for this video. I will have to visit.
Thank you for uploading this. It it great to be able to visit this from Australia
Been there! It’s a trip worth taking.
Can’t wait to visit
It happens!
Thank you with all my ❤ may God watch all of you
Semper fi brothers.
7:11 Haha this is great!😂🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
My beloved Corps!
I love that museum
Amazing Work!
The Marines I have seen around the world have the cleanest bodies, the filthiest minds, the highest morale, and the lowest morals of any group of animals I have ever seen.
Thank God for the United States Marine Corps.
Eleanor Roosevelt
I love that museum!!
Great video! We would all love to see a Pt. 2.
If you want to see a museum like that there is one in the capital in Australia. The war museum really hits you.
Thank you for this video and tour God Bless United States Marine’s
I'll have to visit this place if i ever go to virginia
I was there in 2011. It was really impressive. Sadly the Tun Tavern was to full and I can't go in.
Next time, when I'm close I want to go there again. Feek's like comming home but I never had the opinion to serve. I'm born in the wrong land.
