I really object to being forced to pay the licence fee to the BBC at 84 yrs,but I can’t bring myself to break the law.
Gotta move or just stand for what ya believe in dint let them force you to do anything . Sounds like theft to me . Telling you give me money or violence will be upon you
The NHS was out of date 24 hours after it came into being, all patients and doctors had (and still) have different ideas what they want the NHS to provide 'free at the point access...
To have a chaperone at each rehearsal for grown adults, shows how far they've sunk. Why can't they be alone, working, for hours ?! These are adults. The professionals should just blinking behave !
I watched the first 4 or 5 Strictlies and found the rehearsal segments very interesting, showing how a complete novice would be brought to a high standard over the successive weeks .
Then it got very silly, families and children brought in as a surprise ,then outside filming in zoos etc .Without that part I lost interest .
Perhaps if the cameras had stayed on at rehearsals it would not have got to this stage ,management would have seen regular recordings of the tuition.
There are kids who have more problems that i can remeber, when i was at school circa 1960s {junior} we had kids who were a bit slow but now they have more problems than ever and what do there parents do ?,parents have to take control of this not Teachers, wake up .
"their parents," not there parents.
Really enjoying Peter Hitchens, lovely not having Andrew constantly interrupting. Such a clever man PH
The jury heard the whole case and came to the conclusion that Lucy was guilty .Doctors were concerned about her long before she was removed from the Unit and I can’t believe that was for no reason.
@@sbalmer132 once she left babies stopped dying.
The list of Miscarriages of Justice throughout history is long. The Jury regularly gets it wrong.
@@daphnegeorge7481 Once she left, the unit stopped taking high-risk babies.
Juries, alas, can make mistakes. A notable recent such mistake was the case of Alan Malkinson, wrongly convicted of rape on flimsy evidence and foorced to serve 17 years because he refused to admit to a crime had not done. I recommend reading rache Aviv's article in the 'New Yorker' oin the issues you emntion.
Couldn't hear Peter. Work on your audio
I liked the second half of the interview best where they talk about strictly
Private schools are companies, not charities. The clue is in the word 'private', although Eton et al, call themselves 'public schools'. What a nonsense.
Of course they should be taxed just like any other business.
The railways and utility companies need to be taken back into public ownership: Thames Water is a classic example of a failed privatisation project. But there are so many more.
Conservative Party policies over the years (and New Labour's) have failed to commit to public service. Everything has been sold off to shareholders and big business.
Ted Heath accused Margaret Thatcher of 'selling the family silver'. He was right. She did it anyway.
Even today, EDF, the electricity company is 40% owned by the French Government! Ooh, let's take back control! I seem to remember that phrase. However, everything is sold off. Even the rail companies in the UK are partially owned by numerous foreign Governments.
Anyway Peter Hitchens, I guess you were frequently well-thrashed on the posterior during your private education. Value for money, I call that.
However, love and peace.
I do like hearing what Sarah has to say (I’ll have to wait until next week) 😏
Social homes should never have been sold off as all it’s done has enabled the people who bought cheap to sell them for huge profits ,and removed housing stock for those in need
Our new deputy PM can tell you all about that 😂
Oh Andrew ..where are you ..
. .? this man is so pompous ..loves himself and the sound of his own voice 😩😩😩😩
I did read somewhere that the extremely wealthy parents are beating the VAT - which I understands comes into force from September 2025 - by paying up to five years worth of school fees up front.
Peter Hitchens thinks he is the only person who is right . Quite often he is btw lol
This is where blind inclusion gets you, 🙄
I'm not so sure about Peter Hitchens. It seemed as if he thought he was being interviewed rather than having a conversation. He also needs to work on his articulation - stop munbling man!
Yes. Spot on.
My very first thought! And 8 minutes in Sarah’s eyes began to wander sleepily.
Didn't understand a thing he said. Mumbled and spoke so fast and low!! Please never have him back!!!
why kids dont want to go to school? the only kid that wants to ho to school is the 100% test marks kids, or those who where never allowed to go, and suddenly have the right. the rest of humanity kids wants to play and hang out with friends. how is this a mystery!
