After reading the post the band put out Charlie said that he didn't think there was that much of an effect on the guy from what the post said. I think there was a huge effect on the guy. The post said, "This tampering has caused confusion and thousands of dollars in medical bills the past months trying to figure out whats wrong." Yeah those medical bills rack up and QUICK, before we figured out my moms kidneys were failing, those bills racked up into the MILLIONS, REALLY quick and thats someone with a limited wallet, an everyday person not a mucisian - medical bills can humble even the richest of people, REALLY quick. My dads STILL in debt, 15+ years later, and it simply took legit like 3 months tops to rack up those costs.

I just switched my birth control and the hormone change made me extremely depressed and i had ideations for a couple weeks as i adjusted. Im still depressed but not as bad as before. I was angry, irrational, i was not myself at all just bc my hormones were changed. Messing with hormones can be a recipe for disaster not just emotionally but physically too. I hope that guy and his woman are doing okay, and i hope Diego gets jail time.
Can attest to this. I'm a trans man who had to quit T due to financial issues. I was on it for about 2 and a half years, I think? I had never felt so good about myself. As soon as I quit and the T fully got out of my system, I developed premenstrual dysphoria disorder (PMDD). Every month, it's an absolute battle with my already-dire mental health, because suicidal ideation just swings in full-force for a week. I'll be crying hysterically at the smallest things, or throwing objects around in blind fury. Bodies apparently do not like it when hormones are incorrectly messed with. All that being said, I hope that you're adjusting alright to your new treatment.

just a correction + extra details: gynecomastia is breast growth, galactorrhea is breast milk production. you can have breasts without lactation, and lactation with barely any breasts. breast milk production in cis men can be caused by a prolactinoma, which is a growth on a specific part of the pituitary gland. also gynecomastia is pretty common, and can be treated. generally smaller breast tissue can be removed with keyhole mastectomy. i hope the guy recovers well.

I think the bigger concern with giving the estrogen to someone is not the muscle loss but instead it could cause ED and penis shrinkage. Something that could cause turmoil in an existing relationship.
It depends on how long he was on it, and if they were also poisoned with testosterone blockers. I've been on both for 2 years (I'm trans). It took a year until shrinkage slowly started to happen, and ED still isn't something that I deal with yet. It's different for everyone, though, and estrogen can really mess with pre-existing health issues. The biggest concern would likely be gynocomastia (unwanted breast growth) and damage to fertility.
i believe those are moreso effects of blocking testosterone than introducing estrogen, though it depends on the dose and how long/frequently you take it. i’d be more concerned with the intent of the other bandmate than any long-term bodily changes unless it was like twice daily for those 5 months. there is also the threat of liver damage since estradiol is meant to be dissolved in the mouth rather than immediately digested.
Estrogen doesn't metabolize very well through the digestive system. Estrogen supplements are usually sublingual tablets, transdermal patches, or intramuscular injections.
Ok well is a powder in a pre workout anyway, it’s getting absorbed through the oral mucosa as well. Sublingual tablets are basically just an easy dissolve pill. So essentially what he did to the pre workout
oral estrogen isn't 100% ineffective though. it's about 1-10% effective depending on the ester, so, if you take enough (probably over a gram), it will be effective
actually diabolical, there are some things that are not reversible from hrt too. tbh id find some legal recourse because messing with someone's biology is a serious thing, ESPECIALLY without their consent

Without also taking hormone blockers I doubt there'd be any long-term side effects, the estrogen would usually be replaced by his natural production of testosterone as it is the stronger hormone, especially if all of this occurred over a short period of 5 or so months (however the effects on each person will differ depending on their genetics and lifestyle i.e fitness, diet etc. ). Taking any medication that has not been prescribed under professional supervision obviously risks nausea, cramps, fatigue etc. and although long-term effects are less likely without hormone replacement, it's hard to rule anything out definitively without knowing the specifics.

Im a trans girl so can confirm like 3 months is the start point for boobs and its super uncomfortable so totally makes sense he'd go to a doctor over it. Emotional changes were like within two weeks
as someone born male that grew boobs with estrogen: its not SUPER fast, in that after 3-6 months, you would likely end up with small A cups, and i would think if the guy was naturally masculine and lifts that after a few months off it, with good health practices and workouts, it would work the fat off pretty quickly. the main issues he likely faced were emotional swings, which would make someone think they were developing a mental health issue if they didn't know the cause, and overly sensitive nipples, which would have been upsetting, again, if the cause was unknown. poor guy was probably crying randomly and wondering what the hell was making his head swim. my heart out to the victim. no one should be forced to be in a form that feels inauthentic, same for brain chemistry. long term, such a poisoning could actually mess with his internal organs in rare cases and cause extremely dangerous effects.

Input from someone who has been transitioning for the past while (who is familiar with this stuff): The amount of effectiveness of estrogen on people varies a ton, some people have higher T levels or lower, and often that makes a difference in how quick changes occur, which correlates with the dosage (1mg, 2mg, 4mg, 6mg). What also matters is whether or not the guy was also lacing the preworkouts with T-blockers, where that included would've made much of a bigger impact. Also individuals past the age of 25 experience replacement hormonal change on a slower level compared to someone my age (early 20s, mid-late 10s), but that slower level is usually taken as the expected timeline of events (6 months for breast development with soreness a month in, also reliant on T-blocks though, maintaining pp bloodflow too possibly). Some changes can be almost immediate, but that also hinders on the existence of T-blockers. Just estrogen impacts fat and muscle distribution along with breast development, sterility possibly. Hopefully the band member hasn't experienced too much these unwanted changes, and hopefully T-blockers weren't also used on him. Really sucks seeing stuff like (which has helped millions upon millions, both for transitioning and adjusting hormonal levels for someone who experiences imbalance, etc) this be abused and used for malice. Anyways that's my silly breakdown of the specifics :>

Can attest to this. I'm a trans man who had to quit T due to financial issues. I was on it for about 2 and a half years, I think? I had never felt so good about myself. As soon as I quit and the T fully got out of my system, I developed premenstrual dysphoria disorder (PMDD). Every month, it's an absolute battle with my already-dire mental health, because suicidal ideation just swings in full-force for a week. I'll be crying hysterically at the smallest things, or throwing objects around in blind fury. Bodies apparently do not like it when hormones are incorrectly messed with.
All that being said, I hope that you're adjusting alright to your new treatment.

I think the bigger concern with giving the estrogen to someone is not the muscle loss but instead it could cause ED and penis shrinkage. Something that could cause turmoil in an existing relationship.
It depends on how long he was on it, and if they were also poisoned with testosterone blockers. I've been on both for 2 years (I'm trans). It took a year until shrinkage slowly started to happen, and ED still isn't something that I deal with yet. It's different for everyone, though, and estrogen can really mess with pre-existing health issues.
The biggest concern would likely be gynocomastia (unwanted breast growth) and damage to fertility.
i believe those are moreso effects of blocking testosterone than introducing estrogen, though it depends on the dose and how long/frequently you take it. i’d be more concerned with the intent of the other bandmate than any long-term bodily changes unless it was like twice daily for those 5 months. there is also the threat of liver damage since estradiol is meant to be dissolved in the mouth rather than immediately digested.

actually diabolical, there are some things that are not reversible from hrt too. tbh id find some legal recourse because messing with someone's biology is a serious thing, ESPECIALLY without their consent

Without also taking hormone blockers I doubt there'd be any long-term side effects, the estrogen would usually be replaced by his natural production of testosterone as it is the stronger hormone, especially if all of this occurred over a short period of 5 or so months (however the effects on each person will differ depending on their genetics and lifestyle i.e fitness, diet etc. ).
Taking any medication that has not been prescribed under professional supervision obviously risks nausea, cramps, fatigue etc. and although long-term effects are less likely without hormone replacement, it's hard to rule anything out definitively without knowing the specifics.

as someone born male that grew boobs with estrogen: its not SUPER fast, in that after 3-6 months, you would likely end up with small A cups, and i would think if the guy was naturally masculine and lifts that after a few months off it, with good health practices and workouts, it would work the fat off pretty quickly.
the main issues he likely faced were emotional swings, which would make someone think they were developing a mental health issue if they didn't know the cause, and overly sensitive nipples, which would have been upsetting, again, if the cause was unknown.

Input from someone who has been transitioning for the past while (who is familiar with this stuff):
The amount of effectiveness of estrogen on people varies a ton, some people have higher T levels or lower, and often that makes a difference in how quick changes occur, which correlates with the dosage (1mg, 2mg, 4mg, 6mg). What also matters is whether or not the guy was also lacing the preworkouts with T-blockers, where that included would've made much of a bigger impact.
Also individuals past the age of 25 experience replacement hormonal change on a slower level compared to someone my age (early 20s, mid-late 10s), but that slower level is usually taken as the expected timeline of events (6 months for breast development with soreness a month in, also reliant on T-blocks though, maintaining pp bloodflow too possibly).
Some changes can be almost immediate, but that also hinders on the existence of T-blockers. Just estrogen impacts fat and muscle distribution along with breast development, sterility possibly. Hopefully the band member hasn't experienced too much these unwanted changes, and hopefully T-blockers weren't also used on him. Really sucks seeing stuff like (which has helped millions upon millions, both for transitioning and adjusting hormonal levels for someone who experiences imbalance, etc) this be abused and used for malice.

Using hormones to “transition” someone is malicious. I’m not saying on your part but on the part of the physician enforcing it. You’re damaging your system, the only difference is you’re making changes intentionally to yourself. im sure you probably already know this, but in case you dont, you can order progesterone online and have it shipped to you, since its not a controlled substance (unlike testosterone). i believe the main manufacturer that offers this is based in israel, though, so that might not be super possible atm
