this is so sweet! thinking back i could for sure have used the help from plant friends - if i had asked I know for sure a few would have come. But it was so chaotic living in a renovation that i didn't think to even ask, just kept muddling through. Thank you for this! I just recently found out I am pregnant with a high-risk pregnancy, and before this, I was a highly independent person, so I understand how it is to start letting people in and help you. It is not easy, but I am learning to accept it ❤

This is so beautiful. True friends don't mind helping, they want to. Like you said, helping is a two way street. I once asked a friend to help with my dishes. It was weird to ask, but she said 'finally, you let me in enough to help', and it healed me more than I can explain. Props to you for being vulnerable!

I love this video! I’m definitely one of those people that finds it hard to ask for help. I’m currently pregnant with baby number two with a toddler at home and I’m worried about having two and juggling the plants and the household duties. I needed to hear what you said about people wanting to help just as much as we need it. I’ll have to remember that come this fall!
