    I live in the UK and Lidl is my local store to shop for just about everything. Parkside tools in my experience are great tools for the money and work really well. I've got 5 tools ranging from a hedge cutter to their 12v multi tool. For the price I don't think you can go wrong here in Europe anyway. Great video and love the channel long time fan.

    My only question is could they make them bigger? I like my impact drivers to occupy multiple rooms of a house at the same time.

    Parkside also makes a performance version which are grey in color, brushless and a lot better than the green version. I have seen those put up against Makita and other big name brands and killed them. The performance models are also a lot cheaper than the bigger name brands and come with way more attachments and accessories as standard which the big names charge for.

    Some parkside tools are made by Grizzly tools, some by Scheppach (for the bigger tools like the bench drill and the table saw)... They have a brushless performance line (Black colored tools) from wich I have most of my hand power tools that totaly outclass the green ones that are made either by Kompernass and Grizzly tools depending on the tool (jigsaw by Grizzly, drills by kompernass etc.) they are a bit more expensive tough

    Your pronounciation od Lidl is spot on.
    Also, parkside seems to be all the rage amongst DIYers in Europe, because it's cheap (or they're cheap). Either way, meh, just another generic brand.

  • @jloomis7

    Hart is such a confusing brand to me. I walked Walmart tools recently, and they're pretty much the same price as all the ryobi stuff, yet seems to get spanked in every tool-to-tool comparison. I would assume that both tti and Walmart are banking on impulse purchases at a store where you can get your oil changed, eat a meal, buy your groceries, get your vision checked, get a haircut and buy a new TV all in one visit.

    • @ccbowers
      @ccbowers 3 года назад

      The promos I've seen seemed lower priced than Ryobi. (And Ryobi promo prices are pretty low) For example, there was (is?) a Hart 2 battery tool kit promo (e.g. drill, impact, or circ saw) for $69. The Ryobi day equivalent was $99. So priced lower.
      Bare tool purchases tend to be priced higher, although that is fairly common outside of bare tool promotions.

    It’s German so pronounced “Liddul”. The manufacturer is also German though no doubt with lots of Chinese parts.
    I have a Parkside impact driver and a 1/2” impact wrench. The latter has not had a great deal of use but it’s an absolute beast. The former is less aggressive making it more useful, but there’s really only one speed. So don’t expect much fineness.

    Parkside tools tools are not great by any means, they're ok at best and get the job done. To be fair, I own a lot of the same Parkside tools, because at some point I know they will fail. Their cordless range are very poor simply because either the battery will fail and/or the charger will fail. Parkside tools are made by various companies, such as Grizzly Tools, Einhell, Kompernass and even Scheppach, although I believe they are slowly phasing out all but Grizzly Tools and Kompernass
