- Every single possible variation, but no two groupings of eight measures are identical! No unnecessary repeats! This is the shortest amount of time it would take to listen to all the variations, not counting the difference with the base loop between character selection and stage selection (which adds a tambourine and the notes the bass guitar plays).

I find it impressive they’d take the time to write different themes just depending on which characters the cursor is hovering over, not even selected, and what order it’s in. Such as P1 Oleander and P2 Velvet, or P1 Paprika and P2 Pom.
And Shanty adds 12 more variations for her P1 and P2 sides!

this is so insanely cool, I've known about this game for a while but only recently looked into it and the amount of love poured into this game is amazing

Sadly, RC88 (Rainbow Crash 88, or Stuart Ferguson) has left the composer team, so now only Whitetail is doing the music for the game. I hope Stuart returns someday, like maybe to write more story mode music.

@@dogman15 i speculate there will be 17 characters :3 the other game we dont talk about had 6 characters and 11 blank hexagons in the character selection screen

I remember that someone uploaded a clean version of the songs where only the specific music of each character was heard without the background music of the character selector. anyway, i can't find the video anymore xd
Was that uploaded by a user named "Twilbry"? (or all caps, TWILBRY) I think he disliked the direction TFH was going in and removed pretty much everything he ever made related to TFH from the internet. You might be able to ask Nonameorous or Icy Deer to rip and upload that music. I don't know how to rip the game's music content - I would either record directly from the game's output, or use what's available on Bandcamp.
Speaking of which, the errors with the new Shanty and Capricorn music on Bandcamp is what has kept me from doing a "Capricorn - all variants" video.
@@dogman15 Actually, as someone who has direct contact with the man himself, Twilbry is rather... unstable, to put it mildly. When everyone is having fun with Shanty when 2.0 comes out, he's just being extremely toxic to everyone for some reason until he was banned from the Discord server. Someone said he deleted everything out of impulse and didn't bother to reupload them.

Are you gonna update this with the later dlc additions?
Maaaaaaybe... I'd like to wait to see what they announce in terms of their intentions after the 4th Season Pass character (the one after Nidra) is released. I hope that after character 11 (Texas is 8, Stronghoof is 9, Nidra is 10), they announce that they'll switch focus to work on story mode. My *hope* is that they don't do a Season 2 DLC characters pass until after story mode is complete.
But then the question becomes: Do I wait until they're all completely done with releasing characters for good before I make another one of these videos, or do I make one after character 11, with the possibility that more characters might come out after that?
And don't get me started on the stage music for Shanty and later - all of the file names for the dynamic music for Shanty doesn't follow the same pattern as the first six characters, and the file naming pattern changed AGAIN when Texas and Stronghoof were released. And the Bandcamp songs are edited incorrectly or missing some tracks, so it's either impossible or extremely difficult to make more of those videos.
I wanted to hear shanty's theme in this too
1. It hadn't been released at the time I made this video.
2. Other people have made videos showing her character select themes.
3. I'm not planning on making any more TFH music-related videos until all of the characters have been released and they say "no more characters". When Velvet's story mode is released, I intend to make a playlist of videos by other people that put Chapter 2's music tracks in chronological order, though.

@@user-pn9qf6lg6q You can hear that by playing the game. If anyone *was* to make a video like what you're describing, it ought to be of all "player 2 without player 1" variations, and at this point, we might as well wait until Nidra and Baihe have been released.

Texas, Shanty? 🥺🥺🥺
Shanty's tracks on RC88's Bandcamp aren't up to my preference - the quality and clip selection isn't the same as the other stages and characters. It's hard to explain, but I have some feedback in the Discord server's #feebdack channel from March 2021 that goes into more detail. As for Texas, his tracks are not even on Bandcamp yet.
