1892 is one of my favorite guns ever.
Epic intro to an informative vid. Thank you.
Thanks for watching! 🙏🏼
My first deer rifle was a Marlin 30-30. I loved that gun, until land conditions made it hard for rifle, and I switched to the shotgun.
When I started watching you were a bit scary but the further I got in the more impressed I was with you and your demonstration. Great stuff..!
It's okay. I scare myself sometimes. 🤣
@@SapperGentleman LOL.. You're a good sport and certainly not boring. I subscribed that day.
Come on, a 44 mag or a .45 colt will certainly does the job. Only at a longer distance does the 30-30 have an advantage, of course. For home defense? Indeed, I prefer a revolver with the same caliber as my Win 92. And for me, that's .45 Colt !
You said that you weren't going to do a gel test, but I'd say that hair gel passed the test. :P
That's a lame ponytail, not gel. 🤣
Sierra makes a 125gr HP for the 30-30. Put that in front of 4064. Completely different recoil almost a plinker.
2900 fps out of a 30-30?
It is new to me.I thought he was on the ball
Yeah....that is unrealistic.
So for someone whom is thinking of a lever gun (ignoring chambering) what are the considerations on the different actions? 92 vs 94?
92s are pistol caliber only, 94s are rifle caliber only.
@@SapperGentleman no no!! ‘94’s do have .45 colt and 44 magnum…
I understand those described by the terms do prefer "Indian" to "Native American".
I was being deliberately PC, there, as in "period correct". 😉
Injeen is what a few friends said they prefer to be called.
Where did u get the t-shirt?? Like to hav 1
WTF load gets 2800 fps in a 30/30. ??????????
I have both the Rossi 92 and a Winchester 92. Rossi is 38/357 and the Winchester is 32-20.
Is there a noticeable difference in quality?
@@SapperGentleman Well, the Winchester was made in 1904 so it's fairly worn but honestly, I can't see the Rossi hanging around for 116 years.
@@beverlyblount2241 Oh, yeah, there's really no comparing the two. 👍🏼
do you have any Henrys? curious about your thoughts on their supposedly smoother action
Never even shot one. Because they weren't allowed in SASS I never felt compelled, then when they humped Trump's leg I wrote them off for good. 😊
I’m guessing it’s too late for that Patreon giveaway 😂
Lil bit. 😁
🤠
I much prefer the 92 action over the 94
Big same. 👍🏽
