I wish I had the wisdom and courage to break up with the man I married who ended up betraying me and abusing me for many years. I should have listened to the Holy Spirit's warnings, but I didn't. Even still, He's a good father and He's restoring me too. Hugs.

Every time I am in traffic, I think over that verse. To not complain and it reminds me that every moment is meaningful even if it isn't desirous. Sitting in traffic is now my time to breathe deeply and pray and listen to the Lord without distraction. Loved this talk ladies.

I needed to hear this. I've been silently complaining that my mom who's been ill for a year is always complaining and need to hear this words as a wake up call.
Intentionally expressing gratitude truly helped change my perspective on things. I remember there were days where it felt like everything went wrong and I'm thinking of what I should be grateful for. And the Holy Spirit whispered be grateful for what happened: the "bad" thing that had happened. Because even though it seemed so horrible in that moment, because God is in control and He works everything for our good, even this would be for a good, so be thankful for it. That truly changed my thoughts in a lot of ways.
Thank you Holly, my dad died on Paul Mccartney's birthday after my brother had a stroke and it has been 2 years and the enemy can remind me of the pain and the Lord then comes in and brings comfort never in the way I think it is going to come but as always when I let him in and lead everything becomes better, God bless you and thank you

When she said we’re missing out on new memories and opportunities. I felt that I have complained and wished for a better outcome and life. I try to catch myself now and say something positive or make good of my situation. I’m 24 now and missed so much due to depression and complaining, but the grace of God is teaching me and forgive me and making a way within him. And I love him so much for opening my eyes.

I'm stuck,bc I do not want to be stuck in a marriage that is not working,but God does not like divorce and this is my 2nd marriage.
