    I must say. This is a fantastic thing to have to take your sim racing to the next level without spending an astronomical amount of money. Easy to set up and put away. The one thing I’ve done to make it even quicker to set up is put white marker on the hubs to I can put it into my optimal position quicker with no guess work.

      I agree, considering the positions are usually the same for everyone too, if all the default configurations were marked - that would be epic

    nice thing, bought one and I must say it's good to put it together, the only problem was the first step to put the bar in the angles, the plastic is a little bit to tight for it but the rest was easy and i finished it in about 20min with steering wheel and pedals :)

    Thing is super cool to mess around with only had mine for a few hours but I will say it is a PAIN IN THE ASS to adjust anything by yourself it goes limp all over the place if you aren’t careful. If you are setting this up with 2 people it’s a piece of cake

  • @davidellis5135
    @davidellis5135 Год назад +2

    The thing that I discovered if you overtighten it stops the locking claps from pressing down , they become too tight, you have too loosen them a little then the clamps will come down.

    0:30 kinda lame that you guys put in a cut here that omitted some steps.
    the demonstrator did a set of things that had to include loosening the 2 front hubs. before the cut they are tightened and then after they are loosened. not sure what else was left out.

    Id like to point out that some pedals wont fit as snug as the video suggests. I have a Logitech G29 and the pedals, at its current length, hits the edge of the chair not allowing it to completely close in. One fix would be to adjust the distance of the pedal position but that is too many steps to get it setup and packed away.

      Hi there! Could you please send a picture of what you are describing to support@nextlevelracing.com and we can look at getting a resolution for you for this. We have a lot of customers who use the Logitech G29 and pedals who haven't had an issue, so we will get this worked out for you!

    For anyone wondering how to easily set it up again. Make a mark on the dials with a chalk marker or silver sharpie in your favorite position. This way you don’t have to readjust every time you use it.

    That last part doesn't work with g29 pedals. You should say in your product page that folding is possible with certain equipment. There is nothing wrong with the product itself but folding is pain in the a$$ with Logitech G29. Folding with the equipment was main reason to buy your product but now it doesn't work the way it should. Pedals aren't high enough not to touch the next folding part. Only way to fold it even a decent way is to remove the pedals from the hard mount. That's not going to happen.
    I wonder which pedals are compatible for folding. Thrustmasters? What about Fanatec csl lc elite? My next step is to change wheelset. I'd hope Fanatec is compatible this other way nice piece of equipment.

    Mmm. If mine ever arrives I'll be interested to try this. Ordered April for a delivery date of mid May. Then I get an e-mail saying it's been pushed out to mid June. OK, fine, these things happen. Then I DON'T get an e-mail telling me that it's been pushed out to late June. I only find that out when I try to log in to the distributor's site to check on the order progress only to find that my account has vapourised because, I'm told, someone has been doing a web site update for them and didn't think that maintaining continuity of customer accounts was, oh, how shall we put it? Mission critical? Because nothing says "professional" like a web site designer who can blow up all of the customer accounts but hey, might get around to transferring them to the new site some day. (Today is not that day.) Now that we're heading into late June I'm just waiting to see whether it does perhaps actually show up some day.

      @@misterkuki2943 Thanks for that. I don't know why NLR are doing a video on something which is still - apparently - somewhere in the back channels. I suppose that the video may have been scheduled while the supposed delivery date was still 15 June, one month after the original pre-order date. (I seriously doubt that I'm the only one in this boat.) I didn't really have a problem with the first delay because at least the distributor got out in front of it and notified me of the delay on 1 May. That's smart customer management. The fact that they DIDN'T bother getting in touch to notify me of the second delay (and that with the "upgrade" of their website and the deletion of my customer account I have no way of looking it up)... well, in my view that is really BAD customer management. This was only ever supposed to be a "stepping stone" rig; something to help me decide whether to go the whole hog or not. If I do... this experience has made me a tad reluctant to consider NLR or their local distributor for that. If the thing turns up in the next week, then...OK, I'll let it slide. If it DOESN'T... well, that's a different story.

    This is more than a bit disingenuous.
    Isn't it interesting that all the packing and adjustment videos are shot with the chair sitting on a large table, waist or higher working height, with _many_ feet of space around all 4 sides? And the user is gingerly strolling around all 4 sides to reach all the angles to fold it so easily?.
    I'd like to see this shot with the chair on the ground. In a small space. Kinda like how it would be in my, or any, small apartment. You know - where I *need* a folding rig because if I had 5 feet of space to spare all around it like in this video I'd just get an 80/20 rig and probably wouldn't really need a compact "folding" unit...

      Hi there,
      Thank you for your feedback. We will make sure it is passed on to our Digital Team to note for future videos. If you are looking at independent reviews done on the F-GT Lite's folding feature, there are several reviews available on RUclips.

    • @JoelAz909
      @JoelAz909 4 года назад

      @@NextLevelRacing You're welcomed, I hope you heed those words.
      Frankly, there are quite a few "missed opportunities" on this rig and I've already sold mine off because of them. Fairly disappointing because it could really be great. I believe a good number of the improvements could be made for little or no additional manufacturing costs, but for these "misses" the F-GT Lite fulfills maybe 65-70% of it's potential.
      Disappointment truly is the most appropriate word I can think of.
