Gun Mage I found myself in the same spot, so I just threaded the spring around the plunger, can break some things if not done carefully since it's all plastic
I got a worker 7kg spring and I removed the trigger lock and even upgraded the trigger catch which took ages without a dremel to make it fit as it was bigger, but after i reassemble it it doesnt catch. I have spent over 7 hours opening it and reassembling like 10 times and other stuff and I am just lost for what to do. I have images of it on the nerf reddit
The plunger on mine did NOT want to come off the plunger head. Seems Hasbro is trying to stop people from tampering with these blasters and has started to glue the plunger head on. The only way I was able to get the plunger head off was to hold the orange plunger head in a set of vice grips (Not too tight, don't want to break it), put the tip of a Philips head screwdriver in the screw hole, and give the back of the screwdriver a couple of good whacks with a mallet. On the third hit the glue broke and everything came apart as intended. Oh, and be very careful with the screw on the front of the plunger. Mine was glued in and very hard to remove, combined with the soft shitty metal they use for these screws I nearly stripped it. But, once I got everything back together, this thing is great. Probably the hardest hitting spring powered blaster I've ever held. We'll see how long it holds up.
How do you remove the plunger? Yours popped right off, but you've clearly had it off before. I am trying to upgrade the spring but the plunger base deal won't budge. Help!!
I added in your upgrade spring and all I can say is DAMN! My Cycloneshock just got a serious power upgrade! I wouldn't want to take a Mega dart to the face or neck from this baby now!
No Way! it became a monster! I upgraded mine with the 8Kg Spring and I almost broke a mirror with 1 shot! The blaster really fire at a crazy speed and strength, it sounds really cool and powerful. Everyone: you don't need to remove the plunger screw, all you need to do is "unscrew" the spring from the bottom part of the plunger root and insert the new one the same way. Newer Cycloneshocks have glued that part so if you pull it hard, you will broke it. it was tricky to reassembly though... the spring is really strong and not always stays in its place. I just installed it, I'll be testing it and update if something came up. But man... My Cycloneshock just became a Typhoonshock! LOL
I read your Facebook update and saw the part about the stefan mag. I went back to read it again, only to find it had been removed. Care to explain yourselves?
+Joe White Oh I know they don't care at all. Their customer service is known to be shit. This comment serves to 1. Get their attention and 2. Warn everyone about what they're getting in to. The Stefan mags will probably be the last thing I buy from them, unless of course they release the stage 2 Longshot immortal kit.
Hold the plunger head in one hand and gently twist/wiggle the plunger arm back and forth until you loosen it enough to separate them. Mine was on there tight too!
Neal GarviHey thanks for the reply, but I found a workaround to adding a spring, I just kinda swirled the spring in. Odd thing about the plunger is I took the screw out and it still functions.Idk, IDC I'm happy😀!
takes way longer if it's your first time doing this and learning your way around the internals, but mostly because you have to take the whole thing off to get to the spring and be careful to leave other stuff undisturbed.
I unscrewed the plunger head. What type of voodoo did you use to remove the plunger head so easily? Mines locked in like a rabid animal.

Same

This review was also on amazon🤔
If ur having trouble with the glue on the plugger put it in hot water. Its a trick I learned from switching the tip color on airsoft guns
I'm running a 10kg spring and removed air restrictor obviously and removed trigger lock. its a beast
What type of screwdriver you used in this video
I would do this but I put a gopro mount on the middle of the pull back bit

They don't love you anymore. I'm sorry to be the one to tell you.

+R.J. : I've never seen any news about stefan mags at OMW, but I've only been a customer of theirs since last summer.
+totophi Yeah they're good at keeping that stuff hush hush and ignoring people when they inquire
plunger does not come off like that mine is stuck.

Why does a simple spring installation guide take almost 12 minutes?

This mod does not work anymore, nerf solvent welds their plunger heads on this gun
