I don't think my megas were ever going to spin due to the head geometry, I just told them to make that design because people would immediately recognise it. ...MOAR TESTING ! :D
You were talking about minimal spin, a flat surface, and how the tip can't be too heavy. I think the Nerf's version has all that: You can barely see the side indentions, the tip is hollow, and it's also flat.
Justin? Buzz Bee has their XL Darts that have the suction tips - those should be added to the sample pool. Also tested in your Hammershot Mega Mod? Thank you.
I have a 25mm orange electrical conduit marshmellow blaster which blasts megas rediculously hard. Have made a mega scar for it and does seem to stabilise normal megas. Have yet to buy nstrike mega accufakes.
My existing rocket attachment for my Drain Blaster already fits Megas, it's too short for real use but enough to see some moderate-high power performance. If things work well, then I'll just make a longer version of the same attachment for a dedicated Mega Sniper attachment
It really needs to be tested at different FPS, as the community generally knows, different dart types are good at different power levels. Especially with the mega-caliburn and the general high-powered mods, there's the potential for some REALLY high power megas now, and what power can you practically use a hasbro megaccu vrs a megaccufake before they become unstable. PS, I'm naming them Megaccu darts cus it's easier to say.
You do bring up a good point, there needs to be much more testing, especially at different FPS. P.S. What about MEGAfakes? I do think megaccus is cool tho, sounds like a pokémon name lol
Spin is not being induced on the darts. I think you may be right with the flat tip, but part of the issue with standard Megas is the holes in the tip. Many people probably already know this, but the air drag compresses the tip and unbalances the dart. Also, I think the accufakes were getting slightly better ranges than accustrikes, and I think that is due to the weight of the tip causing more inertia and momentum If anybody sees anything they believe is incorrect please let me know
Your theories have merit ballistically. If a bullet has imperfections twist rate is much more important. If your projectiles are perfectly balanced over spinning it doesn't do any thing bad (until it's really over spun, then it's centrifugal force destroys it). (This isn't a perfect analogy because darts behave more like javelins then bullets in many ways.)
YES! MEGA SHELLS FOR THE SLEDGEFIRE! its not exactly ground breaking, but it would work with your super sledgefire because of how the singled barrel works. You wouldnt be changing the blaster itself very much to make it work.
i mean nerfs becoming really accurate, short darts with a scar barrel (like the worker ones) are really accurate. since with like 200 FPS you can hit a target consistently at 25 meters.
I'm happy with the mega accufakes I bought they arent really painful to get hit by you'll know it happened but its not painful like a FVJ, as for accuracy I tried them out of my twinshock and the darts flew parallel to each other consistently it was awesome to see. I think they will do well with high power air blasters the weight has the potential to send the dart much further than the smaller darts infact CaptainXavier has claimed to have hit his friend at 140ft with one when he used Eir's titan to shoot it.
if it weren't for the fact that they're not gonna be reproducing the centurion mags, and the only 12 count mega mags were produced by Buzz Bee who I think stopped making it as well. I would make a suggestion to attempt upscaling a flywheel blaster to fire megass so you could have something light weight but with higher dart capacity. damn shame we can only have the mastodon for "high capacity fly wheel mega blaster" which is outweighed by the heavy weight of the blaster
Being the go-to dart for general performance for seemingly quite a lot of folks, I'm just surprised we haven't seen them up-sized to mega. Your observation of the acufakes having the best nose-heavy balance seems to be key, though.

I don’t use megas, but thanks for contacting lightake/worker/chinese manufacturers anyway
I really like the addition of the trails
This is the ideal MEGA dart. You might not like it, but this is what peak performance looks like.
Sooo single a drainblaster for megas? For science?
I just did this! 38cm Aluminium barrel and 10 pumps sends them about 60 metres and they stay straight while doing it.
James Charlesworth cool

A comparison vid I really want is Half length Accufakes vs Worker halflength darts.
I can't stop thinking of you blowing out all 20 of those barrels of Megalodon.

4:41 Up in where? In BENDIGO, Morty! Morty, we're going ta Bendigo!
I have a 25mm orange electrical conduit marshmellow blaster which blasts megas rediculously hard. Have made a mega scar for it and does seem to stabilise normal megas. Have yet to buy nstrike mega accufakes.
I wish these accuracy tests used a vice or similar rather then freehand shooting.
YEA I WAITED FOR THIS VIDEO FOR QUATE A BIT!
"Make Test Battle needs to do modding again. We need to make something, something cool."
Just something would be pretty cool.
My existing rocket attachment for my Drain Blaster already fits Megas, it's too short for real use but enough to see some moderate-high power performance. If things work well, then I'll just make a longer version of the same attachment for a dedicated Mega Sniper attachment
Great video man, keep up the good stuff!
Thanks dude.

its like he addressed this in the video.
Except he didn't talk about power levels. stock 70fps, vrs 100-120fps vrs 200fps.
You do bring up a good point, there needs to be much more testing, especially at different FPS.

yes, Can you help me test our NERF compatible Darts? Of course, they are free.
lets see that out of modded blaster
I’m super excited for these, i may even need to build a shield-buster Caliburn for ‘em..............
I need a 3D printer lol

Yep, this video was worth the wait, great job on new more recent videos, the quality seems to be increasing all the time
Hello, Can you help me test our NERF compatible Darts? Of course, they are free.
David James I'd love to, ping me an email from my about section

Would be great to see some more in depth testing on these.
Ah - crazy expensive in Australia - I’ll test it here when the Hammershot kit I bought from your shop arrives.
You guys all know whats next, right? Mega stephans.

How are you doing this incredible editing for the nerf mega darts and what lipo battery can stock Motors handle ?
drivve of anime a lipo will fry stock motors
Nathan .w i see thanks
Cool guy, cool channel, cool vid.
Print a megaburn!

Lightake/NFstrike also do clone Mega 6 mags.
this is news to me, thank you
Time for lighttake to start manufacturing mega mags!
They already do Mega Six mags.

Nice. At first I thought the drone was an attack drone sent by Hasbro because you stole their dart. Great video!
How DO you get those arcs of darts?
3:00 I have a whole thesis on this
Do the MEGA AccuFakes work with your Hammershot turret?
How have you guys not built a wind tunnel for testing darts yet...
I don't think this was mentioned but what do you think of muzzle burst porting theory
It was consistant enough to be worth getting the mega accufakes over the regular mega accustrike dart. also #MakeTestBattleGreatAgain
I thought the flight visualisation was really useful, any chance that you’re planning on doing this for standard elite sized darts?
I could but I think it would need a higher frame rate camera.
-Justin
THANK YOU GUYS
I'm making a Mega-burn soon, so...
Thumbs up for shoutout to Coop!
_Totally_ not stolen from toy fair.... LOL
More mods and gameplay please!
what are ya aiming at
I swear I thought you were tony stark (Robert Downey Junior) (Iron Man) in the thumbnail
YAS make more mods!!
How did you get the new mega accustrike dart
Probably from the toy fair they went to a little while ago.
Why can't we just get some Waffle MEGAs already?
Why though?

Aye, Sim Gretina
Like your cut hair better
Im just getting the cheaper
That cycloneshock is trash
Joshua Bumgardner unfortunately Australian blasters all have the same problems where the fps is lowered to be able to sell the product
Jae Wassell good to know. Thanks!
