If you want to do a loop select you'll need the following script: script:/*Loop selection*/moi.geometryDatabase.selectLoop(); Paste that into the short cut keys under the command section and then assign it to a hotkey of your choice. to run it, select the first two lines of the loop then press the hotkey you assigned to the script and it should work.
Hey! Great info! Just one question... how are you applying the boolean when you hit 'B'? Ordinarily, you have to hit Enter/Done... but I can see in your video that this happens almost straight after the boolean operation. How are you achieving this?
B is set to the command booleanmerge in my shortcut keys. It executes without need for a confirmation. edit: oh, and try selecting the objects you want to boolean before using the shortcut key. Side note: right click on the mouse is a quick way to complete the 'done' confirmation if it does pop up.
@@liminal4d Hi. Ah, yes, I can see the BooleanMerge command doesn't need to have confirmation, unlike the BooleanDifference command. I've tried selecting both objects before running it, but the boolean doesn't work. The only way I can get it to happen using a shortcut key is: 1) Press the shortcut key ('D' in my case) 2) Select the object to be cut, and then right-click 3) Select the cutter object, and then right-click It's not perfect, but I guess it is faster than having to use the mouse to click on the Boolean menu icon, and then mouse back over to the object(s).
Go to Options > View > Rotate/Pan/Zoom options. See if those settings are what you're looking for. It might take some experimenting till you get the button placement to match what you're looking for.
what is the command to select the following lines ? that helps a lot but i dont know which one is thank you for this video !

@@liminal4d Thanks!
how can I add the "Freeform" -> "Control Points" command to my Hot Key List?
for that add the word "curve" under the command section of the shortcut keys and assign it to whatever key you want.

More Moi3D please ;)
is there a complete list of the available commands?
not that I know of. maybe on the moi forums?
Do you have any favorite hotkeys or scripts for Moi?
moi just downgraded rhino that doesnt even have prompt so you will be forever clueless to find the commands to setup hotkey. such a pointless video
it's not for everyone. I like working in it because it's simple and I enjoy making stuff. For me it just works and I like things like that.
