This has been the most informative tutorial on draping a bodice that I've seen yet, the way you explain using the seam lines on your dress form helps so much. I've been sewing for 30+ years but have never been technically trained so creating patterns isn't something that comes easy but this tutorial has given me a lightbulb moment so thank you so much for that :)

This is incredible, I've been studying pattern cutting for 9 years now and this is the most informative thing I've ever seen on draping pattern pieces... I cannot wait to try draping again!

This was SUCH a good tutorial. I'm not super new to draping but I've been doing a deep dive into corset making in general and this tutorial made more sense to me than the thousands of pages I've read on the subject. Thank you so much for sharing!

I just love draping on my dress forms when I had them, lent them to a friend when I was living in New York and never got them back, lesson learned.
But in this New Year that will be here in a few more days. I will be getting new ones, um better now than never after being to trusting to lend your stuff to another designer.

This is the best I've seen as it doesn't magically all layer on the mannequin with 1 smooth drape where you learn very little. This video shows you the nitty gritty to get it perfect, especially the scissor notching around the material. Loved and Subbed with Gratitude

This makes me want a dressform even more 😭💖💕. I almost grabbed one second hand but she had a dial missing and one little plastic ring was broken.
Do you have a video on different brands of dressforms? I know you did one with the one in the video (it's freaking beautiful) and I'm half tempted to make one at this point 😂

I did a similar thing, but I drafted the pattern myself. Worked really well.
I saved the link, because I come across other people struggling with a non-standard figure all the time. It’s really worth the time, if you want to use the dressform for draping!
