Makita will be digging their own grave if they give up on 18v, who would want to pay 2 or 3x the price just for 40v battery version?? They need to come out updated version of battery compatible with old
Fingers crossed they don’t kill LXT. I just got a lawn mower and miter saw, both on LXT (crazy sales at Home Depot). So now I’m invested in LXT and XGT…for better or worse. Praying for an upgraded LXT battery lineup!
Makita is awesome when it comes to Belt Sanders and Miter Saws. DeWalt and Makita are the only platform I buy and use. Milwaukee has lots of fan boys. However I'll stick to Makita and DeWalt.
That’s funny I just watched the torque test channel review also .the Amazon model beat it for half the price. I switched a few tools over to Makita lately. Think I’ll keep my Dewalt three-quarter inch impact.
The one you are showing is a different model no V . Look at the one on TTC it’s even mentioned in the comments. That’s the regular impact wrench. The one they tested is for high voltage use.they said some thing about testing the one you are showing.Don’t know what the difference is in torque hopefully it has more than the one they tested.
V model is for use near high voltage, no other differences.
Some one mentioned that it is a linesman wrench high voltages. They have a regular impact wrench coming out but don’t know if they are stronger ,wait and see.
Just the V model, the one I mention in the video is the regular model.
Are you still actively buying LXT tools? I keep seeing crazy good deals at Home Depot so I keep buying more LXT tools…ugh they keep pulling me in.
Yes, LXT is still my largest tool line I that I have and use daily. XGT is slowing gaining, but very, very slowly. For OPE it is worth the expense.
They need tabless 18650
There trying the milwaukee trend of making it cheaper.
And still charge more
Beginning of the end? Nah I wouldn't go that far after one weird launch :)
Well LXT is showing cracks if they can't make any more power from an impact, they need upgraded batteries...which Makita may or may not care to do with XGT in the picture.
@@UltimateToolReviews even the best battery doesn't help this one, it has a very tiny hammer, weird design and I don't know what is the explanation lol
36v impact wrench
C'mon
@@seanflorian4653 they have some impressive 40v impacts, no worries :) this one is a specialized tool, not a gen2 of 18v high torque
