Honestly, the playlists are basically a fancier way of saying "favorites" like in Bandori, except the name gives a sense of freedom on what you want to do with them
I have a playlist filled with songs from your “how to get better at trills and switches” video!! and also songs for events and my favs in general
its been here since february i think, ive been using it a lot!
I've been keeping up with the pjsk updates when they announce them, so I've known about this feature for a while lol. I have a Playlist for my favorite songs, songs I use for tiering/getting event points, and the other three are just ego rock with the lyrics as the titles (I love ego rock 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥)
I found the playlist feature abt a month ago I had no idea it could be used like that ty
i made a playlist for tiering songs a while back! it’s got envy, melt, hcm, lnf, etc. and it’s helped me SO much when tiering and filling. i definitely love this feature.
wehehe personally the two main playlists ive made are a playlist with songs that have exclusively vflower vocals and another one that have mainly kagamine vocals (on both of them there are a couple songs that have another vs thrown into the song but whats important is that the vocaloid i want is primary). i _coooould_ make playlists that are focused on improvement but im lazy lol
i dont remember when exactly the feature appeared but i do remember that i noticed it immediately after it was added lmao.
i have a playlist with all the songs i want to fc on master for mad skills. it saves a lot of time since i don’t have to scroll all the way in every category 😭
you could sort by "no full combo" and "song level"??

playlists are actually so useful because so could just pick a song and not sift through everything else without wasting time 🔥i have 5 playlists rn, one for tiering/challenge shows, one for my dedicated evillious chronicles songs, my favorite songs to pick in co-op, songs I already all perfected on expert/master, and the songs I plan on all perfecting
really my only complaint is that you actually have to go to the playlists tab in the game and add/remove a song but there is no shortcut to just add/remove it from the song selection menu 😅 but still playlists were still really helpful even before the search button in jp server!!
Same same!! I have a playlist named "Nostalgic" which has all the songs I got introduced to before I started playing PJSK, one for practicing Expert, one for practicing Master, one dedicated to Evillious songs.
Can you search songs on jp by their English names or you must type it with jp keyboard?
@@glistica i think you must type it with jp keyboard so it isnt really better than just finding it through song selection if you dont know japanese 😅😅
i randomly found this feature in the menu while trying to complete my quests, i thought "oh that's cool i'll probably be using that a lot" and then never touched it again
The way I shook my head in disbelief as it zoomed in to the Playlists button that I have seen for weeks and simply glazed over.
I always read the updates in pjsk, so I've been using this feature since it came out because of how convenient it is. So far, my playlists are "Faves," "Master" (for master songs that I'm close to full combo-ing), "Shorties" (songs I used to tier for Imminsible Discord and might use to tier again in the future), and "Practice" (with master songs I've gotten on ranked matches that I'm not familiar with).
Still, the moment Pjsk adds a search tool, I will consider myself blessed.
I love how the FINALLY added playlists.The only use I give them sadly is for songs I can tier with
When we first got them I used them as a way to keep track of my APs in each difficulty because we didn’t have that in our song info on profiles yet

i’ve been hard stuck on 28 songs so it’s been just a BUILD UP of those songs. i’ve been going through all of them and making a playlist of the 28 songs that i know i can combo if i lock in
I love this feature so much instead of scrolling for so long I can just scroll for a couple minutes and then boom I get to my favourite song which is bug by the way
I found out about playlists just a bit after I first started playing tho I never really used them cause I didn’t know what to use them for really- this vid helped so thanks!:D
Currently, I mostly use playlists to collect songs of the same difficulty level where I haven't unlocked master yet (i only started playing about two months ago), keeping it up to date is really annoying because of all the tab switching, but seeing it become smaller is really satisfying...
I have 2 actual playlists about the ones i want to fc and the ones that are specifically hard to improve, the other 3 are just songs i picked for my imaginary units-
Sorting by A-Z rather than default helps so much
Still takes a while to scroll to songs but at least you can find them.
In default sorting the only song i can find is hitorinbo envy…
I’ve been keeping up on the updates but I’ve got one set for all my songs with alt covers (just so I can keep track easily), one for my favourite songs, one for events (with one additional song for each group) and I’m gonna set another up with songs to practice (eg trills and the sort)
going by my discord message history, i think playlists were added end of december, in the 2.4.0 update.
i love using them so much, i have 3: one for songs i've nearly ap'd/feel very confident i could ap, one for boss songs so i can find them easily without changing my sort (bc i'll forget to change it back...), and one for tiering songs/challenge show songs. genuinely game changing, being able to keep track of songs to ap (and also not griefing too badly because i forgot to preselect envy/lnf lmao)
I have a playlist called long songs (so i can use them for events) and another called short (for challenge shows or whenever i just wanna play a quick round). I've never thought of the close to AP/FC idea, so i might create another for that :)
Just move to the song on solo before going over to co-op
I use it for Master difficulty sorting for Mad Skillz FC farming ;-;
My playlist is just WxS and all the songs I like which is nearly all of them
I put every song ik and it has all of wxs but a lot of other group’s too
Created a playlist that's dedicated just for Hitorinbo Envy. Then, I named it "eny" because I missed the v and decided to keep it like that.
