You’re dad is the epitome of a real man. He does what he needs to do to take care of his family. That’s where his wisdom comes from. My daddy was just like that. He was courageous and nothing was too difficult for him to tackle. Just chalk your day up to life and be thankful you have family who care about you. Make some lemonade out of your lemons!😂
Matt Pressley has my respect and admiration. He’s my ideal for a real man and it’s so good to see him in action. Matt, you have a special place waiting for you in heaven!
Be so grateful for your daddy. My daddy has Parkinson’s & had a stroke so he’s not able to help like he always did before. My husband died in 2022 (he was only 61) so I have to depend on Jiffy Lube or another garage now. My uncle will go with me if it’s something major because they tend to take advantage of women. Hug your daddy every day!!!
Looks like Austin is following in Matt's footsteps when it comes to mechanics. I love to see men who take care of their families like Matt & Austin and love to see their women right next to them helping too. Glad the vehicles got fixed without too much trouble. Hugs!
My husband is a mechanic, a blessing I do not take lightly or for granted. We may never have had much money but I have never felt unsafe about our vehicles and that is something to be thankful for indeed!
My Dad was very resourceful. Rarely did he hire someone to do anything so when we had somebody come by to work on something it was a treat. Got to meet someone new.
1 of the things I apreciate about you, is the simple fact that what you upload is real despite the edits. Most RUclips channels could care less about honesty, faux honesty is a cascade against them and the viewers. Life is what we choose to make it, reality cannot be undone through appearances.
It is so nice to see Austin participating more and more in these videos. He appeared to be shy and uncomfortable in the beginning but has really come of his shell. You're among friends, Austin, and we like seeing you (and Olive, and Matt) too!
Thank goodness for your Dad and Austin. My father and my husband are like Matt. Jack of all trades. Thank heaven for them and hug them tight. You never know how lucky you are .
Well cold start on a diesel is difficult. You need to change your battery to Cold cranking amps on your regular car. On your husband's truck is a diesel. You need to keep the block warm, otherwise it will not turn over until it's warmed. Just get a little heater and place near engine block. Until it's warmed. Then let the engine idle for awhile before driving
Sorry to hear about the car breakdowns. Luckily, I am also a mechanic and have always fixed almost all problems with our vehicles instead of taking them to a shop to repair as their costs are way too high, especially at dealerships. Glad your dad and Austen were able to help out.
Cory and Katie, you are blessed to have your dad around. My father passed away when I was 3 years old. I never had anyone show me how to do any of the things your dad does for you. 😊
I grew up with a father and paternal uncle who kept our old cars running. I had a first car ( used) at age 18. I lived, worked and went to college in a town a half hour drive from my home town. My car started to try to start by itself in the night parked in front of where I lived. They came at night and worked under the hood with flashlights and fixed it. A police officer stopped and I explained what we were doing. He smiled and gave us a thumbs up. Thank God for a helpful family! God bless!
Your relationship with your sister is so beautiful. I lost my sister and only sibling on December 21. She passed in her sleep. I’m still so numb and in shock because it was so unexpected and she was only 42. Were waiting for results to see what happened to her. Cherish the ones you love, time is so fleeting. Bless y’all and family, always!
Car repair videos always make me extra thankful for my mechanic husband. I couldn’t do one of those jobs let alone the many he does in a day. Austin and your dad did great!
It's good to see you all know the difference between a problem and an inconvenience. Real problems usually start with a phone call in the middle of the night.
Back when I was young and married my husband or his Dad did about all of the mechanics jobs on our vehicles. Nowadays my grandson does most of the mechanics jobs on his truck. Nice to see young people saving money by doing this. Loved seeing your kind Dad helping y’all out. What a blessing ❤
Corie and Austin, you sounded like you had a challenging day for sure. It sounds like mine and Drew’s luck sometimes. Thankfully you had your dad to help y’all! God bless y’all. 🩷💜☘️
I am the same age as your parents. I am blessed to still have my parents but age has changed the dynamics of the relationship. I see your dad (Matt) and it is so much like the relationship I had with my dad. I always knew he could fix whatever I needed. This world needs more dads like the one you have and the one I have. I love to watch your family. Your bless and you all know it. Glad to watch such a fun loving close family.
Your dad is great for knowing all the things and being willing to do them. Working on modern vehicles is aggravating. Everything is crammed in with little space to work with. Even installing a new battery can be challenging, as Austin could probably attest. I'm glad you got your rides fixed and hope they don't give you any more trouble for a while. God bless!
At least you’ve got some men in your life to help. Im alone and my truck needed a radiator. I went to every mechanic shop, including dealership in franklin. Everybody said 4-6 weeks for a diagnosis appointment. I like, I don’t need a diagnosis! I need a radiator! See right here where it’s cracked and leaking? So you sit and wait and wait and wait . Luckily, I knew to keep water in it and an eye on it and only go to corner store till fixed. Same thing with plumbers here, etc. be thankful you have people to help you.
Thank you for filming the mechanical side of life. I'm not a mechanic, but I have three older brothers. I was their go-for (gopher) when they worked on their cars.
I have never ever seen a battery so difficult to remove in my life!!! Dang, Austin…you did good! And, Matt, kudos to you as well. That looked like quite the job. Glad you know how to and are willing to do that, especially in the cold. Corie…you have some awesome men in your circle! Glad you got it all sorted. The cold will let you know real quick what’s what in a vehicle. Thanks for sharing! Take care! 🙋🏻♀️🥰❤️👍🤗✌️
One time, long ago :)when I was about your age the alternator went out on my car at night. A friend came and picked me up...their alternator went out, too! We were both stranded!
It’s such a blessing to have a Daddy that can help you with car problems. My Daddy couldn’t manually fix anything but he would pay to have it fixed for me. I miss my Daddy so much. 😢
Life happens! Dad to the rescue! Austin did a great job putting in the new battery. Matt did an amazing job battling that alternator. We’ve had some interesting experiences with dead batteries - not fun. You guys were lucky the vehicles did not leave you stranded away from home. That was a beautiful sunset at Rib Country!
You are exceptionally blessed to still have your parents around for love and support. I have not had that since the age of 23; I am now 58 … never forget that each day with them is a divine blessing, and please don’t ever take it for granted. ❤️
Loved it -- that we were watching Dad use a YT vlogger on a YT vlog. - So Blessed - that is all I can think when I view thepressleygirls or Celebrating Appalachia channels.
My Dad is a retired mechanic and I’m Blessed bc my husband has always been able to fix our cars! Labor is sooo expensive! Your Dad is like mine was! There are days like this tho! Glad y’all got them back up and running 🙌🙌🎉❤️🙏🏻
😊 we should give a big round of applause for pappy for fixing her car! I wish I had relatives that would fix my car I normally take my car to my mom and pop place and they do pretty good work.
Thank goodness for Dad's. My dad always fixed mine. He passed away almost 2 years ago and going to a mechanic is terrible. It costs sooooo much. Glad you made it to your parents.
I've said for a long time that Matt and I are soul mates. Many times I came home from a long commute and spent a good part of the night fixing my old clunkers. Cold weather or hot weather seems to be the roughest on cars. Busting knuckles and smashing fingers is part of the game. People would ask me, "where'd you learn to fix stuff? I'd just tell them, "poverty will make a monkey eat pepper."
Thank God for dad's. And husbands. It always comes in 2's or 3's around here. Can't seem to have just 1 thing break at a time. Last year it was our refrigerator and washer together. Glad it all worked out.
Wow 😮 both cars. The same day. And frigid temperatures. Kudos to your incredible dad and hubby. I bet that pot of hot soup was especially comforting 💞 🍜
There's nothing like a few cold days to troubleshoot weak batteries/alternators. You're both good to go, now. Better that it happened at home, than on the road.
Feel you! How timely! Replaced my starter last month with a salvage yard goodie. Yesterday morning it kaput. Cold day. Two tows within a four-week span (pricey!), starter number two, and no vehicle for a week ( while waiting on the new part to arrive). No means to get to work. I too was thinking the same: "I sure hope this isn't indicative of the year to come." Blesses to you both! Sure makes you appreciate wheels while you have 'em! I am living vicariously through you with this.
Oh my goodness! All the vehicles going down at the same time! What are the odds! And in the cold too! Back in the day, they called men like my husband "shade tree mechanics". .Pulled your vehicle under a tree at your house to fix it. That was until before vehicles became so sophisticated. Now they have electrical systems. and you can't reach parts or tools them to fix them. Years ago we had a gallows looking thing that he used to "pull" engines to work on them. He is not a real mechanic. His father taught him how to fix them. Your videos brought back lots of memories. 🙂🙂. Glad Matt and Austin could fix what was needed. God bless! ♥️♥️
Nothing lasts forever and that is especially true of batteries and alternators!! Glad you all were safe during your car troubles. Having talented and brave men in the family always helps. 😊
Car problems are no fun especially in the Winter. It's currently 31 degrees here during the day. I used to have VW Jetta. That thing was a pain. Always something needed to be fixed. So glad once I got rid of it!
Oh my goodness! My Daddy worked heating, plumbing, electrical, and air conditioning. When my husband had gone as far as he could go, he would call Daddy. Mechanics came from his side of the family. THANK YOU JESUS!!! ❤😊
Yep, in 38 years of marriage, all kinds of vehicle issues😂 the most recent was waking up at 3 am to have a 2 hour drive to get my husband to the hospital for his surgery, my SUV had a flat tire and the battery died at the same time, we live in rural West Virginia, so long drives to get places are the norm. My experience with batteries and alternators has been if you replace one, the other goes out. Maybe its different with Chevys and Toyotas. Hope so. You really were blessed by not paying a mechanic and having a free vehicle to use. So many in that situation wouldn't. Idea - take Matt out to a nice place to eat. 😊

My late husband was just like Matt. He wasn’t intimidated by anything and 98 percent of the time, he could figure out the problem and fix it.
I have thought that many times. Good guy Matt
Good thing Dad is retired and can render assistance.
Thank you Matt for helping those kids. God bless you.
Looks like Austin is following in Matt's footsteps when it comes to mechanics. I love to see men who take care of their families like Matt & Austin and love to see their women right next to them helping too. Glad the vehicles got fixed without too much trouble. Hugs!
My husband is a mechanic, and cars are so hard to work on anymore. Bless Matt, and Austin for being the kind of guys who fix things!
My husband is a mechanic, a blessing I do not take lightly or for granted. We may never have had much money but I have never felt unsafe about our vehicles and that is something to be thankful for indeed!
Your Dad is what all men should be may God bless him.
Thank goodness for family
Sorry for your vehicle problems. You saved a ton with doing the work yourselves. Yay, Matt and Austin 🎉❤
My Dad was very resourceful. Rarely did he hire someone to do anything so when we had somebody come by to work on something it was a treat. Got to meet someone new.
Car problems suck. Car problems in cold weather suck more. Matts love for his little girls will conquer all. Great job Matt
That can we talk is spam ---it's not the girls
The last scene is the best! 😂😂😂
Great video. It made me miss my dad. There was nothing he couldn’t do.❤️

We try our best to keep it real 😁
Winter is hard on cars, but Thank you Jesus, for your dad!!
It is so nice to see Austin participating more and more in these videos. He appeared to be shy and uncomfortable in the beginning but has really come of his shell. You're among friends, Austin, and we like seeing you (and Olive, and Matt) too!

What would we do without our dad's. Mine is 84 and still does so much to help me and my kids❤
Matt is a very smart, hard working man. God bless him and all of you. I wish i had been smart enough to find someone like him. Good ol country boy.💙
Feel you on the car electrical issues. I don't wish car trouble on my worst enemy. True blessing to have someone nearby who can help.
Country folk can survive!
Dads are always there to help their children.

So sorry for your loss...I will keep you in my prayers
RIP sister. Just curious, did you get to find out why she died so young?😢
.
I dont understand how men have the patience to work on cars! I would have been crying by the time that belt came off the bottom Matt!
Car repair videos always make me extra thankful for my mechanic husband. I couldn’t do one of those jobs let alone the many he does in a day. Austin and your dad did great!
Cool your husband is a mechanic 😁
Dad to the rescue !!!
Thank God for wonderful Dads!❤
Thank God they’re both fixed! I have never had a Car! God bless you all
Austin is awesome too! He has such a sweet personality. You two are a perfect match🥰🥰🥰
I’m so happy my hubby can fix most everything🙏🏻💕
Thank the Lord that you have a Dad that is Handy and willing to help ❤❤

I have never seen a dang battery case like that. How aggravating. Bless y’all’s heart.
Cold weather kills batteries. But, it feels good to get things fixed. I think that outweighs the frustration. 😁

What a great dad - your mom and dad are good folks.
Your parents raised you well. Believe me that your father not just loves you, but loves helping you even if it's tough on him.
I have never seen a battery so hard to change. They don’t make things like they used to. God bless.
Yea dad. And Austin. Soglad you got your cars fixed.. God bless❤
Sorry about you car problems! So glad that your dad and Austin have knowledge about vehicles- so valuable! God bless y’all!
Nothing like having a great dad
Car's always have to break down when it's super cold. Your dad made that look so easy. I know them alternators are not easy!
🎭 somebody needs to pray for a heated garage! Thankful your both rolling again.😊
Oh my gosh! My alternator has gone out twice over the years and of course the weather was freezing both times! Bless y’all ❤

Austin-- you are NOT a dumb dork!!! You got that battery in ! Thank you for adding the bloopers-- I am still cracking up about the car horn!!!! 😂
You have THE best dad! I have one too! They are always there when we need them.
You are so blessed. Your husband and dad are awesome fellas.
Such a sweet Dad. He needs a big hug! Anyway that is the way marriage is.Always something breaking to keep you having to spend money! Still blessed!
There's nothing like a dependable Dad ❤ Thank God I and my sisters had one ❤️

You girls both have 2 great men in your life. Good job men. Corie you were a big help. Family pulling together. Wow!
Just as I was thinking that there would be some colorful language coming from the mechanic in my family, the horn started beeping! LOL
The Bloopers were great! Glad your cars are going again.

Dad's are always a blessing .
Sorry about your vehicles, l'm so glad you had good help fixing them, my son is a mechanic and I'm glad of that too
Nice that he is a mechanic 😁
Nothing lasts forever and that is especially true of batteries and alternators!! Glad you all were safe during your car troubles. Having talented and brave men in the family always helps. 😊
GOOD JOB, NICE CLEAN BLOOPERS TOO. LOL MY FAMILYS BLOOPERS WOULD PROBABLY BE ALL BLEEPS.😂😂😂
Glad you got your cars fixed. They can be a pain sometimes but we also need them! 🙏💕
Car problems are no fun especially in the Winter. It's currently 31 degrees here during the day. I used to have VW Jetta. That thing was a pain. Always something needed to be fixed. So glad once I got rid of it!
OMG the very end made me CACKLE!!! Your poor Dad 🤣
What a great dad!!
Oh my goodness! My Daddy worked heating, plumbing, electrical, and air conditioning. When my husband had gone as far as he could go, he would call Daddy. Mechanics came from his side of the family. THANK YOU JESUS!!! ❤😊
Your father is amazing! He has such a wealth of knowledge! Thanks❤️🇨🇦🙏
The Lord was definetly your Pilot this morning. God bless you. And Thank God.
Thankfully my husband's truck was running well, drove his truck, to the hospital and my son came the next day after work to fix everything, since my husband was recovering from surgery, You know, life is good, when you can rely on your adult children to help,😊 . Wow, sorry you had to deal with that, how sweet of your son 😁
