I like the kerchiefs, it’s part of being a country girl. Would love to know where you got the hat, it is darling. Safe and prosperous New Year to y’all 😊
First I have to say that I love your hat! You’re right -groceries are expensive! Retailers blame the pandemic, but that was four years ago. I think they got accustomed to making more money from a bad situation.
You are a wonderful couple! I’m so happy for you with a baby on the way! Stay healthy!! Be grateful!! Treat each other wonderfully!! God Bless both of you!! I love your videos
FREEZE 1/2 the bread loaf in a Zip Lock Baggie, and when you want it, take a couple slices in the toaster and they defrost immediately and are fresh! You can do the same when you bake it.... just make sure to slice it first so you can easily take 2 slices out at a time.
I like those Vital Farms pasteur-raised eggs. They're tasty and very healthy. I like to imagine the chickens running around in a well-manicured yard eating bugs, wearing Ray Bans and Hawaiian shirts, and living their best life.😉 God bless!
That look like a nice healthy shop, spending more on good food is an investment in health imo. Our prices in the UK are horrendous too. Btw, i love your hat!
That hat looks so cute on you Corie! Looks like a great grocery haul! I'm sure it is so nice having Austin with you getting groceries! For the company and for the help! 😊❤
Corie ask your Dr. About eating shellfish. During my pregnancies & everyone I know were told eating shellfish is a big no-no. And tell Katie that if she is using kitty litter that she should not change the litter box. Have your Dad to it, that is a another no-no when you are pregnant.😊
I remember the first grocery shopping trip when I got married in 1970, I spent $21 and some change. I was freaking out because it was soooo expensive but the register tape was sooooo long😅. $21 won’t hardly get anything now. It’s always been so much cheaper to buy junk than getting fresh healthy food. It’s wonderful to have help getting the groceries into the house 😅. Have a wonderful week.😊❤
I know, we were married in 1976 and you could get a whole cart full for $20-$25. It’s gotten insane. I just hope people can keep affording food even if it’s just something to keep away hunger pains.
Yay! I love grocery hauls. I buy organic chicken but have noticed it’s been tougher lately. Have you had a problem with your organic chicken being tough? You and Austin are such a sweet couple and y’all are going to be wonderful parents and aunt and uncle! ❤
Corie, your grocery haul looks great. I used to buy chicken parts when I was younger, thought it was less wasteful. I now always buy a whole organic chicken and cut it up for whatever recipe calls for but save all bones whether raw or cooked and make mybown chicken stock.. I freeze it in ice cube trays or small containers. Very useful for soups, sauces and whatever needs a punch of stock. From a whole chicken I can produce a roasted chicken dinner, leftover chicken is chopped finely to make chicken spread for sandwiches. Also use chicken leftovers to make a potpie and once I boil the carcass and reserved bones make a broth and when removing bones from broth save the bits of chicken stuck to the bones to add to soup. A whole chicken can produce the most meals and is a super way to stretch a dollar. Like I said, wish I knew how to do this when my family was younger so thought I'd pass this on to you. Really enjoy your channel.
Agree, getting a whole chicken is the best deal. Love a roasted chicken. Sliced chicken breast sandwiches, leftover for stir-fry. Stock! But sometime am just grabbing chicken thighs (bone-in so still can make stock).
You guys need to start using re-useable shopping bags!!!! Make your own! Thrift stores have tons of cheap fabric and it literally only take 30 minutes to make cloth bags. We are charged .5 cents a plastic bag at our store and I refuse to use plastic when shopping. You could probably make money making them!
I noticed that you eat pretty clean and you buy clean products. Would be interested to see more videos of the things you buy and the meals you make with clean foods.
Great grocery haul there, Corie & Austin!! Lots of fruit and meat. My kind of food! Thanks for taking us along on your grocery shopping!! God bless and much love! 💕🤗🙏🏻
I so enjoyed this video =) We have WinCo in our area, which tends to be cheaper than and have better quality products than Walmart. For meats, we raise what we are able to, but we also support our local butcher shop as the meats are more affordable that way. Always a joy watching your family ❤ may God continue blessing you all in 2024.
I'm in Oregon. Shop at WinCo all the time. Because they are cheaper, get a good turnover of products. Mine has an incredible bulk food section. No local butcher.
Austin you are such a blessing.Corie you are so blessed to have a husband like Austin. Some men will never go to the grocery store with their wives. 😂 My sisters husband hasn’t ever went to the grocery store with her.Nice to see y’all having a nice day enjoying each other’s presence. Happy New Year.
Y'all are just the most precious couple! Don't worry about the things here and there that may not be the most healthy -- you are always eating clean! And when pregnant, the most important thing is to be fed, Corie. Let the little one guide you in your food choices. Nice hat, too!
Corie, you look so adorable in that Red Hat!! Fun trip with you and Austin and a good haul...I like the Panera soups too, delicious...Have a great weekend coming up, we are due for some snow in the DMV area..I hope y'all get some soon too! ❤❤
I love grocery shopping (and doing laundry-I’m weird!) so it was fun to see your haul. When you’re pregnant, you have to eat what you can stand. Baked potatoes and peanut butter crackers helped me a lot, in addition to seven up and ginger ale in case you haven’t given these a try. Bless you both.
I guess I'm weird, too, because I like grocery shopping. One of my favorite things to do when I traveled was to visit a grocery store, because that tells you more about how regular people there live than visiting monuments and museums. I love seeing products I've never heard of. But I'm not weird enough to enjoy doing laundry.
My husband works. I'm retired. My entire Social Security check now goes to groceries, paper products, cleaning supplies, etc. The whole check, minus two streaming services. It's ridiculous.
I hope you guys realize your living life right. Im sure im not the only 1 that watches you for some faith in humanity. The world is so crazy anymore. Your hole family is nice people. Really. Thank you.
Corie, you both sound like you have a foreign accent, is that true? And if so where are you both from? ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 8 And God, which knoweth the hearts, bare them (Gentiles) witness, giving them the Holy Ghost, even as he did unto us; 9 And put no difference between us and them, purifying their hearts by faith. Try Reed's "Extra" Ginger Brew, if you can find it. It may seem offsetting at first, because it is truly ginger-based, not "contains just enough ginger to be able to state that it contains ginger". Plus, they use sugar, not HFCS.
It's so nice to have your spouse join in sometimes to help with the load of care ❤ You are a red girl for sure !!! It really does brighten up the gray days!!❤ God bless you three!!
I hope you guy's can afford everything. Its, really expensive now. Stay safe too. Its nice to see it wasn't to bad on your grocery bill. Hamburger here in NC is over $9 or more 😬
It helps to have a list I shopped Ingles today in Thomasville Washington behind on shopping because of Christmas I like Ingles. I’m glad to see y’all are healthy eaters If you want it get it. Read your body I love Pandera bread soups especially broccoli cheese. They don’t want us the public to be healthy It’s a shame 😔. ❤️ y’all and bless granny.
Enjoyed the haul, Corie! I love that you try to eat healthy but don’t best yourself up if you eat something sweet now and then. :) You and Austin are so sweet together. Praying for you and baby, my friend!
When my daughter was pregnant a few years ago, she was told no caffeine and no shellfish. They didn't have that rule years ago when I had my babies though
Corie, I just wanted to tell you to wrap your celery in tinfoil it will stay fresh for a couple of weeks or longer. You will be surprised. Bless you both, and baby, and Olive.
Loveya both...I need prayers...ER surgery gastric adhesions and intestine doubled into itself. I love your channel, mom's channels and your love for Jesus.
It's great that Austin had some extra days off of work. It's nice to see you both having some extra time together after celebrating the holidays... Thank you for sharing another great video. Praying and Blessed! 🤗🙏💕
Cute hat, Corie!!!! Thanks for taking us along on your shopping trip to the grocery. Y'all are such a sweet couple!!!! ❤
Love the hat. Don’t like the kerchief’s you all wear, but love you.

Austin is a fortunate young man

Love your red hat, Corie! Wow, what a true statement you made: "Food prices are crazy expensive!" Indeed they are.
That look like a nice healthy shop, spending more on good food is an investment in health imo. Our prices in the UK are horrendous too. Btw, i love your hat!
Love your red hat, it looks so good on you!! Happy New Year to you both!
That hat looks so cute on you Corie! Looks like a great grocery haul! I'm sure it is so nice having Austin with you getting groceries! For the company and for the help! 😊❤

You guys take me back 40 years or so. So much simpler and more fun when you’re starting out. Congratulations on your pregnancy.

@@serenitynow288 this was in 1970. Me too. It’s scary 😟 and sad.
Grocery shopping is always fun.
Keep your bread in the freezer and only get out the amount you’re going to need at the time you plan on eating it 🙂
Thank you for "our" grocery trip. Love your hat Corie.
Hi you all, you are such a sweet couple, thanks for taking us along🥰
Thanks for watching!
Corie I wanted to let you know we always freeze bread then it does not go bad! That way you have it for sandwiches and toast!

Lol, I was thinking " are you pregnant for real". I could have lived on chocolate.
Austin’s personality comes out in the bloopers! Show more bloopers you both are funny in them. ❤️

I like to get Krispy Creme donuts but I just can't figure out how something that weighs only 2oz. can put 2 pounds on my hips. 😮
That was fun .l like to see what other people eat .lt gives me ideas
😊
When you said Walmart you had me worried but then I saw all the goodies you picked up at Ingles.
Love your hat, soooo cute on you!

From someone who grew 1500 acres of produce a year for Many years! 95% of produce in grocery. Stores is not organic! It won’t hurt you!
