I'm so glad you took the old washer and dryer. Those old machines are like gold, they last forever!
They are! I bought an old farm house.. but it came with NEW washer/dryer/stove. I cannot tell you how badly I want to replace them with something older. I'm always looking lol!
I had to get a new washer and dryer in the last year and I loathe the washer. It has so many environmental restrictions on it that it’s about useless. I keep telling my husband, come warm weather I’m getting my wash tubs and my wash boards out so we can have some CLEAN clothes.😤. TeresaSue

I’m so thankful that I ran across your Mom’s channel. It’s saved my life….I lost my mother, only sister and Aunt in three years. I always wondered where my mother got some of her words. Please pray for me. I go to the cardiac doctor on the twenty-third on a CT scan it showed calsavacation on my values and prayed God will hold my hand, and it will be ok. I'm so happy I found the family to watch and be a part of. I don't say a lot, but I wanted you to know this is a kind, loving channel your Moma and Daddy raised you well believing in Jesus is the only way for without him we are lost wondering souls thank you again for another wonderful video. Don’t know if you know this, you can change the way your fridge opens. It’s obvious it would be more convenient for you to have it open the other direction. It’s not hard at all. If you do it you could film the process to help other folks. I’ve been super surprised over the years that so many do not know this. Love your channel and your family!!! ✌️🙋🏻♀️❤️

I was going to mention this, too. When my fridge was delivered, I asked the two young men to change the side my doors open to and they did it in about five minutes. It was going to open up toward a corner of the room, not convenient! Now it opens next to a counter, so very convenient for both getting things out and putting things away!
Switch the door on frig the other way so you can set things on counter top
the seal will never seal correctly if she does.
We switched our doors and it worked just fine. Also makes the fridge more user friendly.
Loved the sound of the creek.
Olive seems content. She has her own space. Surely Austin feels (more) satisfied knowing your parents are nearby when he is gone. I like lazy Saturdays as well. I usually make greeting cards. I made one for you guys. I'll send it once little man is born. Love your house. Feels like it has a good flow. Take your time decorating. If you can cook, sleep, shower, do laundry, you're good. ~ blessings

Just a suggestion, you might want to get silicone sink mats so you don't scratch the porcelain sink with metal. It will save a lot of elbow grease. It also will be able to help protect glassware.

I really enjoy your videos and love when you talk about your devotionals. I would like to ask for your prayers for my oldest son, Joey. He has been fighting esophageal cancer that has spread to his lymph nodes. He has been going through chemo treatments since August 2022. It has gotten to the point that he’s struggling to swallow and now can barely swallow liquids. They are trying radiation therapy to see if it will help at all. He’s only 47 years old and his only symptom in July 2022 was a little trouble swallowing, no pain, nothing else. Please pray for his complete healing! He’s a wonderful son, husband and father of three. He first and foremost loves and believes in God and Jesus as his Savior!!

Seeing Olive collapse at the end was the funniest thing EVER!!!!! I was worried about her for a second, but assumed she was tired and found the perfect spot. Thanks for the devotional suggestion. Hi Corey, I noticed that the refrigerator door opens to a very inconvenient way, have your dad or Austin change the hinges so it opens to your counter, very easy fix, I did my by myself at 60..... prayers for you and your family. Blessings. 🙏
My husband & I love to read. We like to sit together and read our books which is so relaxing. We get books from our local library and enjoy talking to them when we go there. Enjoyed your video!

Not only that but in every one I've watched, I get inspired, abundant blessings, and the list is endless of all the good. Even just to hear the creek running is a hear comfort to me.
I would love to see more with the music. But better than all the rest, is when youns take the Bible, even if it starts with a few words from a song, the mention Scriptures. That's when God whispers to me, the GREATEST OF ALL! So THANKS to your whole family!!!

Saturdays are wonderful! Now retired, I have Saturday's more frequently!
Craziest thing happened. My wife and I were having a very serious talk this morning about our next chapter in life. After talking I asked God for some signs to help know if what we were discussing was the next best moves for us. We had to go to the store today so we headed out. Once we got there I asked God for a spot right up front, we turned the corner and someone was backing out of a front spot and we pulled in. Couldn't believe it. Secondly as we stepped out of the car we seen a truck with a sticker on it and it's symbol isn't common to see, but I had the same symbol tattooed on the back of my left leg. Lastly, while we were heading to the checkout line I caught a glimpse of a young man and we looked at one another like we knew one another, but I couldn't really make out how I knew him. I then looked over and saw you and couldn't believe it. That's how I knew him! My wife and I are big fans of y'all and we were tickled to death. I'm a twin myself. God works in mysterious ways and shows us signs all the time. Seeing y'all was the icing on the cake to confirm that we are headed in the right direction. Just wow! 😊

Oh dear! I just cringed when you put your hand in that glass to wash it. That is exactly how I did it too for many years… until the day a glass broke just as I was doing the twisty turn with the rag. The jagged edges promptly gouged deep. Needed several stitches. Still have the scar. Never again! Now I either use a bottle brush or stick the rag in there and push it around with the long handle of a serving spoon. Stay safe! Thank you for sharing your day.

I love that you can hear Stamey Creek just outside your door. The cattle panels make a great fence for Olive and she seems to really enjoy her new yard. I just love everything about your new house, especially how near you live to your family now. I am reading in the book of John right now myself and it does give a lot of comfort. I was feeling a little overwhelmed this morning as well. I cried to the Lord for help and He heard me, so I feel a whole lot better. I am facing a bladder biopsy this week, which I had been able to handle and really was not worried. That is until this morning. I suddenly found myself experiencing fear and felt so alone. My husband, who passed in 2021, was always such a comfort and help to me and I felt so heartbroken that I could no longer get a hug and some prayers and encouragement from him. Then I remember that one of your subscribers recently commented that she and her elderly Mom had both been diagnosed with stage 4 cancer and neither one had been given any other options for treatment. They live together and just take one day at a time. When I read that I thought, how dare I complain or moan about my lot in life! There is always someone who is in a much worse situation than I am. Still, the Lord cares for all of His children and does not favor any one above another. Much love and prayers from your devoted subbie in WV. ❤❤🙏🙏

I only use a little whoolite dark to clean my cloths. I don't use fabric softener nor detergent. My cloths come out clean and the colors don't fade out as fast and the fabric holds up longer.

I really like the sink that you picked out. I don't like heavily scented things either, especially laundry detergent. I use tide free and clear a lot or even All free and clear.

I have a scrubber like that....the scrui daddy. I found that if I run warm to hot water over it , it will soften and be easy to manipulate when you're scrubbing.

I received some terrible news today. Someone I love more than life itself fell in the shower and broke their hip and shoulder. Unfortunately they have to have surgery. Not to mention they are on a trip in England. I am home by myself and I am really panicking. I haven’t slept, I’m trying to calm down so I thought I’d watch your vlogs as they always bring me joy and calm my soul.
Anyone reading this please pray for my family. We need it so badly now. The more prayers i can get the better I’ll feel.

Thank you for your prayers. My Mum was the one who fell and she had hip surgery today. Thank you God, it went well. The only downside is that when she fell she cut her head open and lost a lot of blood. For this reason she may need a blood transfusion. If her haemoglobin levels go up, she won’t need the transfusion. We will cross that bridge when we come to it. She also starts physiotherapy tomorrow and if all goes well she can fly back home to Canada a week from Tuesday. Thank you for your prayers, they really helped. She has a long road ahead of her, but she’s doing well. If I may be so selfish and ask you to continue to pray for my mom, as she still has to get on a Plane with a broken shoulder and a fractured hip. For safe measure, would you please pray for my dad, too. my poor dad is by himself, taking care of my Mum worrying, he’s under such high amount of stress right now. Thank you everyone. I appreciate you so much. I hope you’re all doing well and your life is good. May God bless and keep you all.❤️

I am very late watching this video but great job, as always 😊. I know when you filmed this video things with Granny were uncertain, praise God she is home and doing better, and that Tipper is back home too, I know you all missed them something fierce! My favorite thing to do on Saturday is just “piddle” around my house. I might take all the curtains down and wash them, or bake a cake, or clean out a dresser drawer, or go through old photos, or change the dishes in my china cabinet, or work in my yard…. All the things I don’t have time for during the work week. I dearly love a Saturday with no plans and plenty of time to piddle! Enjoy these quiet and slow days and enjoy the last little bit of time as newlyweds before your blessed event 💙. God bless!

I make my own almond butter and usually have too much. I will have to try the almond butter and dates. I put almond butter on rice rounds and top with bananas and cinnamon.
Enjoyed watching your entire video today --Years ago I use to have a little frog scrubber holder similar to yours. Of course, I have no idea where it is today. Over the years things just seem to develop legs and get up and walk away, never to be seen again. You are truly blessed, but you do have a lot of things going on at this time so it is perfectly okay to feel a little overwhelmed now, but always remember this too will pass. A minister we had years ago said his favorite words in the Bible were "It came to pass" because it might be bad if it came to stay! Over the years It has helped me to cherish the memories of good things and be able to forget or at least put them way in the back of my mind the bad things. Looked like you enjoyed your day, thanks for sharing.
Love your new house! From what I've seen, it's beautiful. We live in a very old farm house in Va with a creek out back. The creek is the best feature of the whole place! My hunter was in the woods early today and is napping on the sofa now. Didn't get us a turkey though. I watched your video with the sound turned off and read the transcript so I wouldn't wake him. I've got the second load of laundry in the dryer now. I made bone broth this morning out of chicken bones and scraps I had saved up in freezer. The bones get so soft after 2 hrs of pressure cooking that I always put them in an old food processor until it looks like pourable cake batter. Then that gets poured into a plastic rectangular food storage box with a lid and put in the fridge. After several hours, it is kind of rubbery and i can cut it into small squares and put it on a tray in the freezer, then into a gallon freezer bag. I give our dog one thawed square of it mixed into each of her meals. She loves them! Very smooth, no bone pieces left in it. We get the broth and she gets her treat squares. No waste. Going to have leftover grilled chicken tonight. I love leftovers! No cooking, just eating. Continued prayers for Granny. And for y'all as you see to her needs. Prayers for healthy babies and mamas, too. If you would (and anyone else who's reading here), please send up a prayer for my youngest brother and my brother-in-law as they deal with severe health issues, too.
