That's exactly how it is folks! I hope new pilots to the area see this as very useful and good information for this top 5 flying hot spot! Cheers Brad 🌤⛱👌
Reminder : If you check your pass onto a launch and decide to go to another one, ask the staff to check you off or your ticket may bounce at the new launch. They are very helpful. At the end of your flight, on the website, register that you have landed or you will not be able to register for your next flight! Do this before you go to bed or onto the Town!!! 🙂
I'm definetly old pilot :(. In my days there was trucks, wich carry about 30-40 pilots from beach to top of Babadag. Road uphill was realy scary :D . And up there was only one old woman, selling tasty "Rize ćay". BTW cheaper, then same on the beach....
This is such a great informative video, thanks for sharing! I am heading that way mid October. Would you happen to know what are the insurance coverage requirements for visiting pilots? Thanks in advance!
When you say insurance requirements i had my own travel insurance that included paragliding I would hate to have an injury in travelling and not be insured. Get paragliding insurance Not sure what Oludeniz needed but I don’t remember anyone asking me
@@AviationSports1978 Awesome, so it's all about avoiding the summer months and school holidays, right? I would live to stay on the butterfly beach, but I saw one video and there are so many people there. I wish there are moments to have the beach pretty much all for yourself.
@@quirinius I launched in this video and landed down there, you can camp there and have it all to yourself early in morning and late at night. I will maybe go back next May ruclips.net/video/vhG-WK0HhwY/видео.html watch that video of my butterfly landing
May (except the week of May 19th, national holiday most of the student clubs will be coming to perform their SIV trainings and also lots of tourists) and September. For June, July, August... its always nightmare
@@AviationSports1978 when it was fixed, last weekend? I was last Thursday and I found it narrow, with no side protections, or rock falling protection and no asphalt. Maybe you used the teleferic 😂. This has to be one of the worst roads I have ever seen. I am not even bother mentioning lights, border lines, signs etc
@@politicallyincorrect2564 I didn't find it too bad, different strokes for different folks. Hate to see you in Pakistan. Used the Teleferic a hand full of times but mainly used the companies and their tour buses to get to the launch that was active for the day.

Hi
This is a great video, thanks!
Are there months in the year when it's great flying but not so crowded?
Hey, Glad you liked it. Pretty much it is very busy with tandems in the summer months so i think next time i will head over in may.

Please, let me know how to proceed for a not professionnal tandem flight ?
Do I need to register the tandem passenger as well ?
When you arrive go to the local tandem shops they will explain the process
3:22 you went through the security? Never did it! :)
Rookie move on my behalf i did it once then after that just walked around the detectors
The road to the mountain must be in the list with the worst roads in the world.
Its been fixed up a heap i didnt find it a problem and have been on worse.
