Another great video with lots of tips and advice, a man after my own heart, i use my tape measure in the same way, if your measuring a precise size dont use the metal end of the tape as you can never trust it, as the end may be damaged giving a false reading, nice one.
I almost passed this up because it was 21 minutes long. This video had a lot of useful information and I'm glad I watched it. I've used mat cutters in the past so I have some basic knowledge of them and I think this is right in line with what I need. Great video, thank you.
Thanks Margaret, If you shoot me an email I'll send you an invite to the next monthly live training broadcast. I run a live cast for members of the framersclub on the second Saturday of every month. We cover all sorts of framing topics and solutions live so you can interact and ask questions whilst the demonstrations are happening. Contact me via fixaframe in Australia if you need further help. Hope you make some great frames. Best regards, David Schummy
A great review overall, but the 301 is still in production. I wouldn’t try to get extra life out of a blade. I look for 4 A3+ windows turning my blade after two. The blades cost 35p and acid free mount board is hell of a lot more.
Hi Lincoln, I think you must have a cable unplugged or maybe you've muted your sound because the audio comes through fine for me. If you want a more in depth look at what you can do with the Logan Compact cutter I have a free training series on the fixaframe blog. Also if you want to check out easyhomeframer we have a full training course on how to frame your pictures. There are some links to various other framing content on the Endurart RUclips channel as well. Hope you sort out the sound THX

An excellent video. I am looking to buy my first mat cutter and found your review very helpful. Also appreciated the extra hints and tips!
