I remember sneaking my Game Boy Advance SP staying up late doing the Droplets Temple the night before a math test in school but still got enough sleep and aced it, good times back then.

Started replaying this game 2 days ago and then sees this in my notification. The irony xD. Also I feel the exact same way. This is my 4th run through this game and I personally absolutely adore it, but it's a fantastic game that no one talks about.
All these years later, I am so glad that Minish Cap was one of those games that I knew about and managed to get and play through back when it was new! It's really memorable for me, I love the game, but any time I think about or remember it, it was a game surrounded by some of the best AND worst memories of my life. I was 15 when it came out, and, going along with a lot of my personal real life issues, it was during the time I was going to Opportunities For Learning, still struggling to keep up with school and learn. I remember, this was also around the time that Drawn Together, was STILL a show and aired on Comedy Central. So, I would sit alone in my bedroom, either at the computer desk that I used to have (and that I wish that I still had now - it was not mine originally, it was my brothers, and a few years after 2005, he came back and took it....), or on my bed, usually at nights when the show would be on. I was also really into listening to Ozzy's music, namely the albums "No Rest For The Wicked" and "No More Tears" (also the live album, "Live & Loud"). Trying my best not to go into too many more details, the school dropped me eventually because I couldn't keep up with doing the homework and turning it in each week (and algebra, can go fuck itself), and yeah, more or less just bad times involving my brother and the other side of, I guess my family or what ever. Still though, I finished this game once, and I've tried to re-play it and beat it again, but any time I've tried to get back into it, I just have a rough time staying interested. That is, until about a few days ago, now I've re-played up to beating the second dungeon!
And I ALSO still have the copy I've had since the game came out - the box, manual and other paper/pamphlet inserts in either mint or really good shape (box obviously more worn than anything else, BUT no dents or messed up wear like a lot of other casualties from my past). Sometimes I wish that Capcom would make more Zelda games for Nintendo, but I guess those days are now gone and in the past. I wouldn't mind seeing this pop up on the Switch eShop, mainly because THEN I could play it on a TV without video output struggles (I do still have a Gamecube, and a Gameboy Player with the disc, but yeah.... my Gamecube is a later model WITHOUT the component output; the component cables are "one arm, one leg and your first-born" insanely priced anymore; AND I can NOT play any GB, GBC or GBA games using a Gamecube controller to save my life - I do have a converter/adapter thingy that, I bought to use with the Wii, and allows NES, SNES, Genesis and N64 controllers to be plugged into the Wii OR the GC as well, but there is always some amount of lag when using those controllers with the GC or Wii, or just overall from the adapter).
There's one specific pot up in the mountains that always gives a red rupee right next to a door. I collected all the figurines by grinding that pot til my rupees were maxed out, then buying shells, then repeating.

I know it's a long shot for FSA to be ported, but I'll wait to see what happens with Zelda's 35th Anniversary.
What a classic example of a sandwich game. Came out between the wake of Oot and twilight princess. that's why it's so barely renembered
This is one of the only games I've ever completed myself
This was a nostalgic treat to watch. Thank you
Jirard: All Zelda games are wonderful.
Wand of Gamelon: (Cracks Knuckles)
The Minish cap is my favorite Zelda game of all time followed by Majoras mask and a link to the past. It’s so sad this game gets so overlooked.
Why didn't you talk about the sword masters scrolls? That's an extra you don't need to progress but it'd part of completion. I demand a redux!!!
RuneKing324 how do you tag jirard so he sees this? Did he skip the training techniques? He must have!
And the dojo books!!
RuneKing324 maybe he did? i do find it weird that he would'nt mentiin them though.
Msh bawlz
7:22 The Legend of Zelda Odyssey
Zero more like Super minish Mario
Zero e
Mr.Death You mean Super Minish Odyssey?
I loved the game mechanic of shrinking to a small size and seeing the world in a different perspective. The regular enemies you would overlook and kill in one hit are now a dungeon boss. I loved it
It's actually nice to hear someone mention that the game is short. People seem to omit this in reviews I've seen lately.
I’ve never related to someone so hard when he started praising the KFC Famous Bowl
I guess you could call this game... a link between worlds. * puts on shades *
Relevant Games YYYYYYEEEEAAAAAAAHHHH!!!!
....Nope.
I guess this game is a fresh breath.... a breath of the wild that is
#thuglife
Daniel Staples YYYYYYYYYEAH!!!!!!!!
I predict Episode 250 will be Yakuza 0.
JUST DO YAKUZA 0 ALREADY
Mysterious Jojo oh hey. Another homestuck. Cool and new.
Aren't Yakuza games absolute hell to 100%?
Kenpokid4 If Jirard can complete BOTW he can absolutely do a Yakuza game.
So was Skyrim, but that didn't stop him doing it and won't stop him doing it again for New Game+.
Mysterious Jojo been wondering when he would do one for a Yakuza game for like a year
One of my all-time favorite Zelda games finally recognized! Thank you, Jirard. What a nostalgic adventure this is about to be.
The one thing I don't like is the forced choice on which of the three newcomers to give houses to. Why not let us have three houses? Why not Ninten- Capcom?
I can't wait to hopefully see Spirit Tracks on this channel, when I was younger I absolutely loved it and would like to see you like that great DS title
Same I’m still waiting for that
My favorite Zelda! Pretty surprised to see it reviewed by Jirard :)
I am the only person in existence who holds this opinion and I am the only person crazy enough to think that Minish Cap is the best Zelda
I love it too
It's one of my personal favs
hunter kern I'm with you in this, my absolute favorite
hunter kern nah bro it's my fav too
This and both Oracle games are my top 3. They're just amazing all around.
This is by far my favorite Zelda game. I'm happy someone is giving it the attention it deserves :D
I'm so happy to see this game get some recognition. This is one of my favorite Zelda games
Oh yes! My 5th favourite Zelda game! Can you do my third favourite; Wind Waker?
He still hasn't done that yet?
Do not subscribe to this channel m8! I don't blame him for not doing it. The Triforce quest is the definition of pain
It depends which version. HD's isn't that bad
hell id be impressed if some completes spirt tracks
+gamers in a container
It's much easier in the HD version.
I forgot that you say "Hillian" instead of "Hylian"...
I swear, I don't get how either he or even Mike Matei (the guy from Cinemassacre) get "Hillian". It always makes me beg the question, how do they pronounce "Hyrule"? (I feel like, it would sound bad, and almost similar to "Hilldale" from Back To The Future II, just, with "rule" in there instead of "dale")
Lol back in the day I somehow thought it was pronounced Hylayan, or Lake Hylaya; I ignored the truth at first because I liked my pronunciation better lmao
Arin from Game Grumps does that too
I absolutely loved this game it was honestly near perfect for me
Oh, the in-your-endos: "Too big to fit, Link? - I know your pain, my friend."
The first ever Zelda games I’ve ever played and I still think to this day it was one of the best of its time, this game set the standard for Zelda games for me and the many more Zelda games I’ll be playing til today, truly amazing
OMG you can do no wrong Jirard!
Wrong.
Besides not finding zoras attractive
Ryuseii, I am with you 100%
Jirard did do wrong.
He literally gave twitch subscribers over double contest entries.
Everything else: 9 Entries
Sub bonus: 10 Entries.
If you're paying for his twitch, you get double the chance to win.
That's fair honestly, they did pay after all.
WE NEED A REMAKED FOR The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap
No. You just need a GBA.
Or a Wii U
@Starscream91 I'd even settle for a port to the switch, virtual console style
The GOD!
DAMNED!
TROPHIES!!
Jirard. I don’t say this to many RUclipsrs. You are one of my favourite RUclipsrs. You are amazing, I rarely see many gamers completing games
To me Minish Cap is like a Zelda fanfiction
It took most of Zelda assests across the yeara and made a story, even Vati is very wattpad tumblr like
I keep hearing that this is a great Zelda, one of the best some say. I'm finally thinking about playing it, maybe mod the SNES Classic to play.
finish cap was on the gameboy advanced not a SNES
just wanted you to know about that before modding your SNES classic
@@PatriciasWorldPW You can mod a SNES classic to play gameboy advance games with RetroArch I think
Or you can go on etsy like i did and buy minish cap for 14.99 lmaoo
Starscream91 etsy is an app for handmade things lol. The only reason i used it was to get minish cap bc i couldnt find it anywhere. Look for a reliable seller on the etsy app. They usually have good classic games but believe theyre not technically official. But that being said it was still the full game of minish cap i just wanted to own it :)
Ah, my favorite 2D Zelda game.
Fight me haters
Right there with you bro.
Thirding this statement. Love the Four Swords on the GBA as well, their style is perfect for the system they were built for!
Hylian Phoneguy it's in my top 5 and personally I like it more than Breath of the wild
My favorite Zelda game is The Trout of Eating Electric Sweaters
I doubt anyone is going to “fight” you. The game is critically acclaimed and was well received by fans. I like the phantom hourglass. Fight me haters?
How can you dislike the Zora women? C'mon, they are the best of the bunch ;P
+Lugmillord Like honestly why are the gerudos considered the most attractive.
i mean, they don't even have genitalia but ok
thank you!
Fish lady waifus for laifu
+Kyler Lol first of all it's a joke and doesn't it have to be furry to deem someone as a furry?
Minish cap is hands down my favorite zelda game. It's the first zelda game I ever had and one of the first games I ever completed so It'll always hold a special place in my heart. I was so excited to see this video about it!!
I have a love hate relationship with this game. I like to gather at least all heart pieces in every zelda game and this is the only one I never did it. Getting all figurines just sucks so much.
Let's just hope this game gets the links awkening treatment.
Tbh it's quite beautiful as is
Wow Jirard is a terrible person swiping left on Zoras.
My favourite LoZ game.
I remember enjoying the shit out of this game back in 2004. This video took me straight down nostalgia lane, nice work man.
This is one of our favorite Zelda's at 502Gaming. It is so underrated. Nice stuff as always Jirard!
Not attracted to Zoras? I'm sorry, Did you SEE Mipha?!!
RayquazaFlyer gross
+RayquazaFlyer Does it count as beastiality if they're humanoid?
Replying to two comments calling the Zora's hot isn't gonna go well with any reputation it's just a yolk I'm not a furry.
I know I'd drain my nugs in Mipha
+Grizzly Machismo Ok we've crossed the line of funny to furry.
more like funny to ultra creepy.
Started replaying this game 2 days ago and then sees this in my notification. The irony xD. Also I feel the exact same way. This is my 4th run through this game and I personally absolutely adore it, but it's a fantastic game that no one talks about.
The first zelda game I actually finished...
Same.
You may not like zoras, but... Damn Mipha is thicc.
They all smell like fish, thats enough reason to not be attracted to them
This Game will always hold a Special Place in my Heart. Because it was my very first video Game. And so my Love for Games and zelda was Born .
COMPLETE F-ZERO GX!!!!
Yes.
Not attracted to Zoras! Have you met Sidon? He can turn the straightest men gay in minutes.
lizard king But then Mipha grabs you by the crotch. "The fuck you think you're going? You're mine, bitch"
Master Gibz You hear that? MINE.
And he turned the most gay girl straight
Seconds
This is the best Zelda game of all time just saying
Samuel Thurman I agree, still the best for me that I’ve ever played. This game alone made me have a huge appreciation for the zelda series.
It's certainly up there, but Majora's Mask and Breath of the Wild are better.
@@ElricGameplays not Breath of the Wild
