I am one whom smells of tobacco in church, and I am trying to change. I appreciate that sentiment expressed, and I would sooner welcome my fellows who struggle than shame them. So fortunate are we, for this organization. Watching this gives me hope and bolsters my faith in a better life for myself and my brothers and sisters striving to improve.
Thanks for sharing, @drumeshopeth. We are glad to hear that the General Conference messages have given you hope and strengthened your faith. We hope you continue to enjoy the remaining sessions.
Just attend church. I would. You're there to learn, and I would sit next to you. 🫂. I've sit by a person whom smell like alcohol. I live on a Indian Reservation. Just learn of Jesus Christ and the rest will follow when you accept ❤pray for comfort
I am excommunicated but I never held any resentment or hatred towards the church. So grateful can listen to conference while I continue to strive to better myself, repent and come back to the fold. I desperately miss having the Holy Ghost but conference helps me to feel spirit just enough to keep me going and not to give up.
Been there myself. Well worth the fight to return. So grateful for my Savior. His love and patience and of course His atonement has brought all the joy in my life I'd been missing out on for so long.
Our past branch president was excommunicated. Divorced. Remarried to a Latter Day Saint. His son went on a mission. Today his is our elders quorum President. He looked up. Not down.
General Conference reminds me that this IS His church, my husband no longer believes it to be. We both served missions, to see him leaving further and further each year is a lonely path. I can't quite explain the deep sadness, fear, frustration and disappointment. I'm so grateful for general conference and it's power. This is His church, the gospel was restored, God leads us through his prophet today Russell M. Nelson. May we always remember him is my prayer. Thank you for taking the time to read.
Stay strong Sister! May the Lord comfort you and cover you with His abounding love during this challenging time! I see you, and lift you up🩵 Offering you virtual hugs and sincere prayers!
I also have a spouse who seems to be slowly going further and further away. Keep on going and loving and praying for a softened and returning heart. God hears you. He sees you . He loves you. 😌
you are not alone.Mine is my son...an RM who drifted away and does not believe in what he believes before anymore....and i am hearing this general conference, giving me hope and not giving up on him.
Remind him there is opposition in all things , even in the church and within ourselves. These are the times as prophet said we need to excersise extraordinary measures and have eye to see and ears to hear. Along with the harvest of tares and wheat. All the best and God bless.
Church is a hospital for the sick, not a museum for the perfect. We all need Christ, we are all beggars. Our sins may look or smell different from each other, but we all are trying to become like Christ… and the only way to do that is by learning of Him and embracing His Grace. Good brother we love you and need you in the body of Christ! ☀️💕
This is my first general conference with the church of Jesus Christ of latter day saint and am happy I make a good choice by being a member of the church and I really don't know how to make my family a member too I really pay that God will use me one day and make All my family a member
I feel the spirit of God while im heard the song church and i love to hear the word of all the conference speaker even though its hart to understand their language but still i am listen i hope God help me to understand.

"You´ll never be happier than you are grateful" - Gary B. Sabin.🙏
Whoever you are believe always one day it will come to a stop. I was a tobacco user for years guilt always there but I didn’t stop. Long story short 2022 it came to halt I went cold turkey and quit completely my doctor told me I was a time bomb if I didn’t stop smoking. I definitely wanted to live…. This month will be one year not having tobacco and I’m truly greatful Heavenly Father heard my prayers all the years I begged. It took this experience that free me no guilty feelings I can smile and find Joy with myself
It’s such a beautiful privilege to hear and learn from the Lord’s servants. One thing I’m eternally grateful for is the decision my parents made many years ago to accept the restored gospel of Jesus Christ. Which made it possible for my siblings and I to grow on the covenant path. Dear parents do yourselves a favor by teaching this everlasting gospel to your kids because in your absence it is this very gospel that will guide and protect them always
🎉❤😊General Conference = My favorite weekends of the year! Much time with God and my family! I wanted to feel the Holy Ghost prompt me to improve and I so grateful I heard it in the closing prayer. The Elder giving the closing prayer said something like we are grateful for the talks we have received. The Holy Ghost then prompted me, "Which talk did {I} receive?" I felt I had the agency to choose the right and apply a talk in my life to become better. The Lord wants us to receive all that He has. Heavenly Father really does love and watch over us as "his beloved children."
Beautiful talks. Loved all of them and musi. Definitely, our words are powerful. We need to be careful what we say to others. Our goal is to be kind and love our loved ones without making them feel small. To support and care for them❤🎉
Direction matters more than our speed. If u want to go fast, go alone. If u want to go far, go together. Hold on & Hope on. Preeeaach sister Runia 🙏🏼👏🏼🎯

"We share the same spiritual origin and substance, derived from our Divine heritage and kingship, however, each of us flows in different cultures, ethnicities, and nationalities with different opinions, experiences, and feelings. Despite this, we move forward as God´s children and as brothers and sisters in Christ without losing our Devine connection which makes us a unique people and a beloved community." - Ulisses Soares.
I really enjoyed the reminder to look at life from an eternal perspective and to refrain from criticizing. “Sometimes we need empathy more than advise.”
"Have you done everything in your power to solve this? So, leave this in God´s hands and everything will work out fine" - Jony L. Koch quoting the taxi driver.
50:22 Loved his talk. I especially loved his message of unity for all people under God. He explains it in a way that shows love yet is clear and feels like what Heavenly Father would want us to know.
I was blessed with the opportunity to sing in the choir. I felt the Holy Spirit communicating to me that the words we sang are true! Jesus Christ really is our Savior and He will come to earth again.
As I was listening to the song I believe in Christ the tears were streaming. We lost our 16 year old son this year and the “come what may” has hit us so hard. But imagining holding to the rod and seeing His face and being reunified with our beloved son has given me some peace today. Thank you for sharing your gift and bringing the spirit to our lives. 🩵
I feel God words in my life through all our leaders talks, I pray for our beloved prophet for more strenght I missed watch him preach today. May God help us to treat one another with love and respect in Jesus christ name Amen 🙏.
There is so much to learn and live from these messages. The Choir is stunning in its delivery, the musical arrangements are thrilling to hear and to see the beautiful young faces knowing the work and time required to deliver such flawless performances, my heart overflows with gratitude. All required has paid so well for all who have heard the words delivered and inspired music, thanks to all.
Your testimony will grow stronger when you go above and beyond the word of wisdom. Be healthy the natural way God intended, with Raw vegetables and unprocessed food.

Elder Soares, I couldn't help but notice your jew joke fell flat. God love ya sir so allow me to send my own favorite, knowing full well if I keep on the covenant path, I'll have the opportunity to use it in a talk and relate it back to our Savior. But until then, & here we go: A preacher, a priest and a rabbi went on a boat for a fishing trip one day. Well as time went the preacher needed to relieve himself. So he got out of the boat, walked across the water to the dry land where he took care of business behind a bush, then came back, walking across the water, back on the boat. Some time later, the priest had to excuse himself for much the same reason. And in the same manor, he got out of the boat, walked across the water, went behind another bush, a moment later came back walking on the water. Finally it was the rabbi's turn to answer the call of nature. He got out of the boat and (SPLASH〕fell into the lake. At that point, the priest turned to the preacher and simply asked, "do you think we should've told him about the stepping stones?" 😅 Brothers and sisters, children of the Most High God, if you've come this far and thought my joke a gas, please leave a like. If you're still reading regardless, a prayer on my behalf would certainly service. God bless.
