Same problem . I have a pattern on it but i cant see so i fail to apply the pattern . touch is working and device too . the screen is dark
Works perfectly fine> If any problems try these options:
1.Ensure you enable debugging mode
2.Extract zip file to C drive
3.Check USB cable type (some don't support transfer)
4. Loose USB connection at ports .
5.If cant copy paste path just double click .exe file while logged on pc as admin

Enable the usb debbuging option to your phone. It showed me this error too and this fixed it

Apps won't work any more because, Google took away the cast feature in android now you have to have chrome cast because, they want to charge you for everything took me literal hours of trying stuff to finally find that out so those "mirror cast" apps are bad because, they only work with devices that have cast built in like Samsung

Enable usb debugging, and then try again. While you run command it should pop up a windows which is asking for permision , click Allow. After this you can see your mobile/tablet on pc
I tried on my pc and it works really efficiently you just have to write correct command this will not work if you left a single space and first you have need to enable USB debuging by tapping 5 times in build option in about section then companf abd done

Simply, download the Bluettoth Audio Receiver from the Microsoft Store. But you must update your computer to windows 10

Either you have not enable USB Debugging or After USB Connect you will get one option in android to allow the debugging or not, so you might have not responded that.

choose file transfer
3)while writing scrcpy command
you will get error" device is unauthorised"

4) run again scrcpy command

It isn't working for me. It's showing this error.

What worked for me was to Activate Developer Options.
Go to,
Settings>About Phone> Click on Build Number multiple time.
It will show you are a developer!
Then go to Settings>System>Developer Options and turn on the USB Debugging.
Now try the process mentioned in the video. it works

After unzipping the folder, don't run the scrcpy.exe just yet.
1. Connect your phone.
2. Enable USB debugging mode in Developer Options. Select Ok if a pop-up window opens on your phone.
3. Run scrcpy.exe.

If it doesn't work for you enable the USB debugging option on your phone in the developer settings menu which can be unlocked by going to the about page and tapping the build number 7 times.

I’m looking for a USB-C hub for my Pixel 7 Pro that can connect to its USB-C port. The hub should have two female USB-C ports: one for connecting USB-C Apple EarPods to make phone calls, and the other for charging the phone and supporting data transfer. The data transfer should enable USB debugging mode, allowing me to use the mirroring application namely scrcpy. Can you recommend a product that meets these requirements?

I did try and up day the windows drivers associated with the USB ports and a few others related. But still sadly didn't let me connect. After I did this it kinda seems like windows recognized my tablet like a MP3 ot media player I guess but not as a android tablet

1. Use an Aux cable and please insert in the microphone port of your system and the other side in your phone/tablet.
2. In your pc (for windows 10) < head to sound settings < sound control panel (right side of ur screen in blue texts) < open recording tab < double click on your connected microphone < click on listen tab < check mark to listen to this device.
3. There you go ! Buddy

Firstly I would like to thank you for such a great help you did for all those struggling on this issue. Further more I need to cast screen in LANDSCAPE rather than portrait. I tried rotating on mobile but it doesnt reflect on monitor. Appreciate if you could help me on it. 👍
Rotation
To rotate screen use below command:
scrcpy --rotation 1
(Possible values:
0: no rotation
1: 90 degrees counterclockwise
2: 180 degrees
3: 90 degrees clockwise

This method works, thanks bro. Now next thing to do is to find camera app without hud, and then I can use 100% of my mobile phone camera which is better solution then paid apps, to use mobile phone as webcam.
Yeah this is a good alternative to the default option of allowing streaming from device. You can't stream stuff from Netflix and other video streaming apps using that method. But that method has integrated sound also. That's not there on this one. I guess that's because there's nothing installed on the android phone side. I wish that was also there.

@fast cash I wouldn't say it's great. It has it's ups and downs. Like the fact that cyber crime is technically allowed because no is doing anything about it there. Then the caste system etc... It's really debatable and I can't really say for sure, I don't live there nor have I ever visited India, hope I'll get to visit it one day though.
