WHHS band kid here, fun time this was. I honestly never thought I'd hear such loudness to the point my band director refers to playing loud as "Jacksonville the treeline!" Thanks for being a source of inspiration :). We burned the treeline many times.
I would sign up for band day if you plan on attending next year! It’s a chance to play with the band at a game and get to know some members of the band
I can't wait to get to see this show in person at the JSU competition Saturday ...and the next Saturday at The Peach State Marching Contest in Rome; Georgia.
The opener makes me think of the 2017 Blue Devils "Metamorph" opener with the nods to the past and the historic voiceovers....then that hornline blast! Then "Goin' Home" from 89 Phantom but best of all...though the arrangement was not quite as good as they did it in fall 1989 when they lifted it basically directly from Madison...some things don't need to be tweaked - MALAGUENA!! OH MY!! Very nice! Blow Southerners!

You had to be there to really feel their performance... I was with the Hernando Band and I thought there performance was absolutely awe-inspiring.
