My cousin born in 1972 (gone now R.I.P) LOVED Keegan & Dalglish. I was born in 1978, so I was too young to see remember him in hits heyday. The point is, for such a small man, I never realised how strong he was on the ball. No one's knocking him off the ball and he seem tenacious as well. What a player ... what amazing finishing. I rate Keegan at number 2 in Liverpool's all time top players list. In my opinion I place Keegan higher but each to their own.
To clarify, I rate Keegan as Liverpool's number one as he played a major part in lifting the club to greatness, Dalglish helped to keep them there, but the harder job is reaching the heights in the first place, so it's Keegan for me.
Some players like Kenny Dalglish were absolutely brilliant, however, you'll not find their names on Top 30, Top 50 players ever, and I'll tell you why: it's because lack of trophies or succesess with their national teams. Laszlo Kubala, Gunnar Nordahl, Jose Altafini, Vlodek Lubanski, Kenny Dalglish... On the other hand, you can say that George Best did not win anything with his national team, but... George was born as Best ;-)

King Kenny had good shooting boots, but he was slow in running, and lacked real classy skills on the ball, his hard work and one of the greatest football brains of all time turned him into a truly great player who could stan alongside the best from any team.
