This wasn't the best demo to be fair as it was played like a guitar with guitar soloing, to use this pedal you have to change the way you play thinking like a keys player, no bending no slides etc then it does what its designed to do. Check out the official EHX demo to hear this.

Dont suppose anyone knows if it can do the 'bubbling?' Like the rhythm 'push pull' effect in Roots Reggae? Ive managed to perfect it using a 12s acoustic, but if I could do it with a 'real' organ sound, I'd be in heaven! Thanks
ME TOO, MEL9, C9, KEY9 AND SYNTH 9....................great pedals if i set them up correctly, but they all suffer from a little syntherser whine.....rock on from howard uk............age 85
This sounds exactly like a guitar play playing keyboards. I think you have to play more a keyboard style when you use this, if you want it to sound authentic.
"stpwaddell" is correct - this pedal demo is not done right - you cannot just play the guitar as usual like this guy does - bends, full chords, slides sound lousy - you must understand this and adapt your playing, THEN you will hear this pedal sound like it should, which is pretty cool.
Keyboard players are like rocking horse shit at the moment, having this to create a Hammond chord sound in the background in band situation is incredibly useful. I wouldn't say it would benefit a lead solo though, would be to up front in the mix and noticeably synthetic.

This would be useful in a band context
I actually have both EHX C9 and Mel 9.

Can't agree more, you need to change your playing style and get your head into keyboard mode for it to sound 'right'.
very nice

He has no idea how to use this pedal wow
real horror show!
Or skip this garbage and get a Digitech Whammy pedal. All I can hear is pitch shifting and some chorusing.
What a boring demo!
this is so bad
The most pointless pedal ever after the Korg Miku:)
