Another great video on RE in Jurerê. It was good to see you looking across more of the options. I noticed two things that most non-Brasilians do not typically perceive when they are in Brasil. Clothes hanging on drying racks. Dryers are not common in Brasil even in well-to-do neighborhoods. It will come as quite a shock for many Westerners. The other was the front door on the house being completely accessible from the street which is very uncommon in Latin America. Jurerê is one of the safest neighborhoods in the safest capital city of Brasil. This comes at a price premium which is not insignificant but does provide for opportunities for those willing to spend the time to understand Brasil and focus on a local/regional real estate market. Congrats Mikkel for another great video. I did notice that your pronunciation of Portuguese words is headed in the right directions. Good effort ! ! !
YEAH the poor maids who do the laundry of these people would prob not know how to operate a dryer. They have never seen one ! I took a bus through the area one day and was loaded with poor female housekeepers who do the diapers for these people.
Clothes dryers are not uncommon, you can buy them at any home appliance store. They just don't make sense to us, you who live in a country where it's snowing 4-5 months a year need them, we don't. Here you lay out a garment and in 30 minutes it is dry because of the sun, we don't have snowy winters and very low temperatures. If you want, you can buy one of these machines that dry for 300 dollars in stores.
@@gocanada9749 Maids don't do laundry, they clean the house. They receive a salary, health plan and transportation allowance as required by law. There are maids earning more than people with higher education, it is not because she works cleaning houses that she is necessarily poorly paid
