    That looks sick. I came in thinking this was extra and silly but it actually looks much better than leaving the door off completely. Well done

    I had the same idea for my front license plate mount. You did a cleaner job. The tape trick is a good idea.

      Yea not that bad but of coarse you only have one cover so it’s kinda a permanent mod haha

    Is there a benefit to having these on all the time, or is it mostly an aesthetic preference?

    • @Flatline_WRX
      @Flatline_WRX  8 месяцев назад +2

      These exact hook are looks only. But yea you can leave them on all the time just in case.

      Not a good idea at all to have that on except when it is in use. It bypasses sacrificial aspect of bumper and will transfer more g-forces to human body and vehicle. So it increases your risk of harm to vehicle and harm to you while on.

    A dot of toothpaste works also to mark.

    do you need the step bit or will any drill bit work if its the right size?

    • @Flatline_WRX
      @Flatline_WRX  Год назад

      If you have a bit that fits it’s perfect sized then no you wouldn’t need step bit

      I like the look and it’s also dual purpose for my kayaks. But my best friend was like “oh …. You’re gunna be THAT guy” 🤣🤣🤣

    Does anyone sell replacement body panel, just so I don't have to drill my original? lol

      I don’t think so. If they do I haven’t seen it.
