I just understood why they are called "Former Time Trio". it's because they all used to be Classic Sans. Insanity became insane, Dust became mad, Last Breath stopped being a slacker.

@@Gasterisation I don't think that's true. According to the creator of Former Time Quartet, the purpose was to make Insanity sane again. That means Insanity did become Insane suggesting that Dust also became mad. The name of Phase 1 suggests that Last Breath also stopped being a slacker. So yes, it is relevant.

You have no idea how long I have waited for this
In the depths of the Underground, there was a great evil that threatened what little peace remained. This evil was known as Chara, a being of immense power and malice who had murdered everyone apart from the Former Time Trio. The only ones left to stand against them were three powerful beings known as the Former Time Trio: Last Breath Sans, Murder Sans (also known as Dust!Sans), and Insanity Sans. Each of them had their own unique abilities and powers, and they were determined to put an end to Chara’s reign of terror.
The three heroes stood waiting in the Judgement Hall, ready to engage Chara in an epic battle. The battle was fierce and intense, with each of the heroes using their powers to their fullest extent. Last Breath Sans used his determination to fight for what he believed in, unleashing powerful blasts of energy that shook the very foundations of the Judgement Hall. Murder Sans used his madness to fuel his attacks, attacking Chara with bones and Gaster Blasters. And Insanity Sans used his insanity to unleash chaos upon the battlefield, summoning forth twisted creatures from the depths of his mind.
In the end, the Former Time Trio emerged victorious, having defeated Chara and restored peace to what was left of the Underground.
