You know what he has up his sleeve. *I’ll end them both….somehow. (And that’s it. I really hope that you’ll do the rest of the phases. I absolutely love this concept. Personally, my biggest question would be how would phase 3 work? Would they both be corrupted by Gaster or would Sans be corrupted, leaving Chara heavily in confusion.)

If this was Frisk doing it then there would be no reason for them to look unhappy and if they don't like soda why did they point at it in the first place??? Don't try and say it's Chara either because they don't take part in any type of possession unless you do a Genocide run and the soda scene happens on a pacifist route.

Trying to reset after a pacifist route is finished will cause Flowey to appear and try to discourage you from doing so. Claiming that there is no need to do anything since Frisk is already happy with their good ending. That in of itself should be enough evidence that the player exists lol. Though some people like to say that Chara is the one trying to get Frisk to reset, with the most popular idea of them trying to start the genocide route, however Chara themselves state at the end of the route that they were simply following your actions. Meaning that Chara had no influence on the pacifist reset. So the only logical answer is that the player exists. Besides, Deltarune also has the player exist in some way. And while Toby has directly stated that Deltarune and Undertale are different universes, they still have some connections. The player being a figure in the game would absolutely fit Undertale, which is already a fairly meta game. So it’s not hard to think that one of the connections between the two games would be the existence of the player.
Fun fact, in canon undertale chara tells you that you have some mental illness if you will do a second genocide route. They want you to do pacifist after genocide

I really glad this was made, im bad at making music and always wanted to combine the 2. In my canon though I believe that instead of phase 1, sans thinks hes going to die and you continue to fight chara in which he comes in immediately at phase 2, in which he instead of going phase 3, starts to slowly die until chara gives him one of the players souls in exchange for the erasure of the world. And well, as a way for sans to stop it? He takes that chance, and phase 3 ensues. Eventually, sans takes the soul to charas suprise and as sans turns into ice cream dust flavour he actually gives the soul chara and all thats left is for chara to get rid of the timeline forever.
